Love throwing that salute up after launching these guys into the sky. Always a great feeling.

Not a man or woman on that deck who doesn't earn the very best of salutes. To civilians the work these guys do looks terrifying. Only training and discipline and immense respect keeps them alive.

We were always told we're saluting the flag on the flash, not the pilot. That was according to the wing commander at RAF Mildenhall when I was launching tankers

First: Children and women in Iraq were not killed on the front lines and areas of engagement. Rather, they were killed in civilian shelters after their shelters were bombed with Big Blue bunker-busting bombs and then burned alive with phosphorous bombs.
