I think the recent U2 studio works are underrated because of their overcomplicated sound. What I like in best U2 works is that they are pretty simple yet very tricky arranged and emotionally played. Really nice job. Just found this! The comments some posters made - the delay in this tour was NOT from Bono's bike accident; he was having back problems started to affect his walking. So he had surgery . That was where the delay cane from. When they came back on tour he made jokes something like being repaired like German engineering. So actually there was probably a time in the first part of the 360 Tour were as someone said stiff, not running around I guess yeah because of his back getting worse. I look forward to seeing more of your films.

"..." chorus, verse..." that the band members heard throughout the concert (in their earpiece) made the experience of this concert even more exciting. Just wanted to let you know we loved it. TOTALLY AWESOME!
Damn! This is shot so well. The audio is incredible too. It sounds like it came straight from the mixing board. Regretfully, I missed this show, but now I can enjoy it here. Thank you.
@@svenmagnusflubiproducties i think what is more likely is that it's the cues for the lighting guy or something production related. usually the musician's mix is not the main house mix, but custom to how they like the sound. so bono would have his voice higher or lower in his ears as he preferred. many singers only like the band sound in their ears, and not their own voice. does anyone know the source of this for sure? it sure is awesome!!
@@lazy_dad Sorry, but I'm a musician myself and I've worked backstage for Rolling Stones, Bryan Adams, Springsteen, Neil Young etc... I can assure you that lighting guys don't need cues, they know the show. I have in ears myself, so I know each musician has his own mix... I don't know any singer who don't want to hear his own voice, I guess we know different singers ;-) U2 has endless delays and spacy sounds, so I can imagine, when you're running around a big stage, this trick comes in handy to know when to start singing again of playing a break or something, but I had never heard it before.
Best U2 360 recording and concert to me, better than the Rose Bowl one. The Amazing grace/Streets version, the countdown before Streets starts of, whoever doesn't get goosebumps here I don't understand💕 😎🤣

I am starting this post on a negative note because of the alteration. I posted a rave review about this video before. Positive notes are below. This video was being played before with no ads. Now there are ads after every song that detracts from the enjoyment of watching and listening. This video has more added ads than any video I have ever seen on RUclips. What happened here !!! Who sold out a great video to the ad companies just to make a small amount of money. Not even worth watching anymore. Just a hassle to have to skip the ads now. (Positive review before added ads below) I was there that night. I have seen hundreds of concerts in my life. This was a rare one night special show. The U2 crew voted this 2nd night at Anaheim Stadium as the best U2 has ever played in years. The day before on Friday was a warmup for this Saturday show as said in reviews. Even the whole set list was differently played than the Friday concert. The whole band went 100% out and it shows in their energy and enthusiasm. There were many famous and important people who attended this show. This was also the day that Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band passed away. (A tribute to Clarence at the end). So many things were in place that day that pumped up the band to play like never before . This was one of the best concerts I have ever attended. The video and audio is just pure art amongst videos. The guy who filmed this should be awarded as a great artistic creation. I have watched this video again many times to enjoy it.
I make no money off this video. The copyright holders (s) of the music do. I have no way to control ads on here unfortunately. I did not know this was an issue as I personally have paid for youtube premium which eliminates ads when i watch anything. For me, it's well worth the monthly $14 or whatever it is as I watch a ton of youtube. I appreciate the comments.
@@PaperDollingFilms Thank you for the update. I did not mean to point a finger at you. I had no idea who added the ads. Once again, best artful recording of a concert ever!!! You are an artist and should be filming and recording for a company and making a great amount of money. You are a genius to film like this as an individual. Thank you once again !!!!
@@PaperDollingFilms Is it somehow possible to get a copy of this video on DVD for my personal use. I would gladly pay for it. Not sure how else to communicate with you.
Incredible video and audio but the whole 1234 thing is madness no hate just my opinion...you smashed it in fairness this is by far the best 360 video on RUclips it holds it's own against the DVD of the tour ❤️🇮🇪
In ear monitor mix. The counting keeps the band on time. Tells them you have 4 beats before you go to the next part of the song. When you hear it in your ears night after night you almost tune it out.
2011 U2! June we were there! 2011 U2 in Anaheim sold out with Lenny Kravitz! .A top fave show ! Special thanks to Jack Lampo , Logan , Nancy, Mark Savage, Tommy Finch, Mike lykin , West LA Studios , Val, Repete, The Rainbow and U!
WOW an Insight, the Engineer counting off, gives and insight to whats involved, i assume the band also hear4s this count offs, brings it all home how these guys stay so tight, great production raw.
I think I am but a few U2 fans that think Moment of Surrender is their best song. It has a taste of blues and authentic emotions mixed with rock in a well-crafted song. My 12-year-old daughter (at the time) used to hum the guitar solo when I played in the car.
@@annaconway7009 Unlike other artists, you can feel the emotion in Bono's voice. It's not unique for someone to play guitar and piano in a song live but The Edge makes it sound special.
When U2 are on fire there's no better live band i saw them 2 nights together once at Wembley stadium they were good on the friday but on the Saturday it was something else kinda of tribal spirtual thing 💖
I was there too! The sound is incredible, even better than at the concert itself, just next to the why with the camera... However, there is no better crowd than Azteca Stadium in Mexico... ever.

I love the fact that he's telling you what some of the songs are about! Not what I expected them to be, but a new level of meaning... 🧡💖
Thanks again! This is so freakin' awesome! I'm glad you had to wait for the cable guy! :P
(Positive review before added ads below)
I was there that night.
This is awesome!!! I was at that show!!!
Incredible video and audio but the whole 1234 thing is madness no hate just my opinion...you smashed it in fairness this is by far the best 360 video on RUclips it holds it's own against the DVD of the tour ❤️🇮🇪
That's just their way of reminding Bono that the sequence isn't supposed to be 1, 2, 3, 14.
The counting ruins the whole darn thing! TERRIBLE!! Simply Terrible
1:28:49
In ear monitor mix. The counting keeps the band on time. Tells them you have 4 beats before you go to the next part of the song. When you hear it in your ears night after night you almost tune it out.
I like the counting. It's mad legit 👍
this is an epic set list. Killer show!
I LOVE U2 MUSIC SINCE THEYR BIGINING IN THE 80s THEY BRING ME TO BE ROCK LOVER.
No había escuchado alguna versión de Miss Sarajevo con Bono haciendo la parte de Luciano y me ha sorprendido mucho. Bravissimo.
Wow! Good stuff! Very nicely done indeed,
Glad you liked it!
Great audio !!!
If anyone cares to index the start times of the songs, I wouldn't complain.
WOW an Insight, the Engineer counting off, gives and insight to whats involved, i assume the band also hear4s this count offs, brings it all home how these guys stay so tight, great production raw.
Yeah. Larry’s been playing to a click since the 90’s. It’s really only used to sync the band to the video, lighting cues and a few backing tracks.
I think I am but a few U2 fans that think Moment of Surrender is their best song. It has a taste of blues and authentic emotions mixed with rock in a well-crafted song. My 12-year-old daughter (at the time) used to hum the guitar solo when I played in the car.
Moment Of Surrender is one of my big favorites B really pulls from the gut with that song!
It's not hard to get a tear in my 3yes when I listen to it!
@@annaconway7009 Unlike other artists, you can feel the emotion in Bono's voice. It's not unique for someone to play guitar and piano in a song live but The Edge makes it sound special.

100% agree with you!
awesome awesome awesome! I saw myself when they were first entering the stage!!! I was in the Red Zone totally digging this show!!!
When U2 are on fire there's no better live band i saw them 2 nights together once at Wembley stadium they were good on the friday but on the Saturday it was something else kinda of tribal spirtual thing 💖
Joshua tree tour l was there
The best....
I was there too! The sound is incredible, even better than at the concert itself, just next to the why with the camera... However, there is no better crowd than Azteca Stadium in Mexico... ever.
primera vez que veo a bono tocar una guitarra,
How the hell did you get the in-ear audio mix!? Jeez. lol
Wondering the same thing here LOL
also wondering - incredible!
If I was working bono's monitors I'd steal it too lol, you'd never hear it though because I'd want to keep that job
