It looks good for its price. It says 50 meters distance. Have you ever tested at this distance? I have a boat model that I prepared with a 3D printer. Do you have any suggestions for a rc circuit and motor kit that are close to this price?
Hi, I don't think 15min is short given the small size of the boat and the battery. That given, it does come with two batteries so that's 30min of fun at a time which I think is great. Ours lasted more than 25min though if that helps on each battery
Hi mate hope you are well. Yes I plan to get a little footage of what I do. Been a bit busy with other models but hoping ti get this one day over the next few week :) Thanks for watching, please click that subscribe button. Thanks
Hi, thanks for the comment. Haven't decided yet. Going to get the top off this week and have a look what I can fit in there. Not a great deal of throttle control standard is there and that spoils it a little bit. Need to get that sorted
I have already converted two of the tugs: new hobby grade long range 2.4G receiver and transmitter, new controller (cheap Chinese version from eBay for 8 EUR). I'm now using the tug with a 2S LiPo - let's see whether the electronics can withstand it long term and maybe it´s too much for the two motors?! For me, the original controller wasn't entirely bad, definitely proportional, although not that sensitive. And what's great is that the built-in servo is a three-wire servo - it can stay in with a new receiver and is now much easier to control. This little tug is awesome.
Just bought one excited for it to join my other tug and beer barge ! Also can’t wait to see what you do upgrade wise with yours

Single handed sailor 😉👍🏻
Just bought one. Tried one today. Did you get to convert to another RX/TX? Is there a follow up video showing the install?
I have the model slipway wyeforce and I'm planing to turn one of theses to the wyeforce's sister ship "wyemoore" or "wyepull"
Is there a alternate battery option for this boat lithium ion batterys are not safe for 14 and up
hi! good review! how long the battery of the boat stands? it says 15 minutes in the description. Its kinda short isn’t it?

What the inside look like
Can it used as recovery boat
Wouldn't have thought so really. It's very small and light. Worth a try though I guess
Propper little pond basher!!!
What electrics will you be running? I’ve got the same boat and want much smoother running

@@miles123rc3 yeah the motor is fine but the esc is so bad! There’s no control it’s on or off with throttle
@@mrmr6563 that's what we found yes. Plenty of power but not much control. New esc and receiver will sort that easy.
@@miles123rc3 what esc have you got in mind? I’m not sure as yet, pretty new to the hobby here!
