Samantha, I enjoy watching and listening to you while you enlarge our world of beads and wire, so much that a shadow or two are not even noticed. We love you!!🥰
Samantha, I love listening to you while you’re making something so beautiful. I do have a huge stash of beads, and yes I see stuff and buy lol. Unfortunately, my crafting doesn’t just involve jewellery, I paint, and do resin also. I’m recently disabled, and my art and crafts has kept me sane. I have 3 children who have autism. The worst thing I find is temu and Amazon, they’ve got so many sparkly, crafty, arty things, it’s like being tempted in a chocolate shop, and being able to have anything you’d like lol. Thank you so much for your lovely crafty self. You’re really appreciated x❤
Thank you for sharing your story. I have a son on the spectrum that's starting his Master's degree in the fall. Also, I have fibromyalgia and a very, VERY rare condition called Dercum's Disease. I like to say that I turn my pain into beauty. Working on my projects, keeps me from focusing on my pain and checking the clock to see when I can take more medicine. I make jewelry, and I do macramé and crochet. Different days and pain levels dictate what I do for the day, although I've been mostly doing jewelry lately. "invisible' disabilities are so hard because people make snap judgements based on physical appearance. I don't know the number of times I've been given dirty looks and cussed out for parking in the handicap space &/or using a motor cart at the grocery store. It's see to know that I'm not alone. ~ Heather Aston (aka Mama🐻 Aston)
We’ve also had similar treatments in public. My youngest’s conditions are not hugely visible but we still get rolled eyes and weird looks if and when we use parking spots for people with disabilities. It’s tough going at times 😕
You lady....are a beautiful soul....just keep being exactly as you are....and on top of that this is a lovely little project and I will buy straws tomorrow ❤
Thank You. I like. A new idea . I will continue with some boho beads. Can't go wrong Soo Pretty they lend themselves to so many options, colors ect. Thank You!!!
Samantha my stash is nowhere as extensive as yours, but I am playing catch up. As a matter of fact I've just ordered a lot of new goodies including lots of charms. I love watching your videos. You've opened a whole new world to me. My oldest brother had MS and cerebral palsy. I myself have diabetes and severe neuropathy in my feet. I don't let it control me though. It's hard walking, but I do it. I'm stubborn that way. I enjoy listening to you talk while you inspire us. While I don't have the materials to make these trust me I will be looking for them. My husband just shakes his head, LOL. He does spoil me a great deal. Can't wait until your next one about the earrings. I'm so fascinated by this.
Hi Jeanetta 🥰 My husband is the same and indulges my little crafty desires, bless him. I’m very lucky to have him. You keep going, lovely lady. And thank you for being here 🥰
Samatha, I so enjoy watching and listening to you. Even if I’m making something else I enjoy hearing you. It’s therapeutic for myself. I think of it like I’m in my own little space making things that I like and enjoy. So please don’t stop making videos. lol 😁 Janet
Oh my, I will be hanging these everywhere, including the other half. I too have a stash similar to yrs but mine is not so neat! Yet, I feel it is incomplete, so still buy more shiny things and squirrel away. Love yr videos, both relaxing and inspiring. Ty! ❤ xx
I love the beads. I enjoy hearing you and hearing about you and your life. Never bored, I watch all of your videos. Keep being you, and never change yourself for anyone. Hugs.

Your videos are always calming and I can watch you while I sit doing some beading or other crafts. Your video gives me ideas! I have a craft room full of stash that would be perfect for this accessory! I belonged to multiple monthly subscription boxes that contained so many items that fit right into this. Unfortunately I’ve already cleared the quilting fat quarters from my stash. ☹️ I just didn’t enjoy quilting and passed the fabric off. Guess I’m off to the fabric store! Lovely video. I’m glad you are able to take time out for your own mental health. Hope everyone stays healthy at your house! xx
Hi Lisa - that’s so lovely to hear and I’m glad my voice isn’t too harsh to you! I always think it’s quite a hard accent so it’s nice to hear it’s actually calming 😁 You can get fabric remnants quite cheaply online, so see what you can spot ☺️☺️
That was a lovely demonstration and ramble! Just as if i had popped round for tea and making boho creations.😂 I really like your approach and the fact that not everything is covered in glue..i have been wanting to make these beads for quite some time and i am glad i waited for this tutorial it was well worth it. I am even more amazed you are making beautiful creations when you have such tough challenges in your life. I understand the need to find peace in creating beautiful things .i am even more grateful for your tutorials! Thank you Sam!❤
That’s so very kind, Catherine, and it’s lovely to hear you enjoyed the rambling! I do worry I talk too much. This particular video hasn’t done particularly well as far as viewers are concerned (maybe people aren’t interested) but I enjoyed making this one all the same. See you soon for the bangles and earrings 😍😍
@@samanthalatimer1 well it was a particular request of mine so may be I am way behind the so called trends???any suggestions as to how to make actual beads for necklaces or bracelets, you know like focus beads?not sure the straw would work as the base...will be practising with some of my many wooden beads i have in my stash and see how much of a mess I can make, lol 😆
I really enjoyed watching that. Now I’ll have to go into the depths of the stash and see whether I have anything suitable, or maybe just buy more. I did have charm box envy there 😂 And yes, I too hide the post when it comes in 🤣
I love watching your videos and love your accent, I have one myself 😂 I'm dabbling in a few crafts resin, polymer clay and now beading. This bead style is just gorgeous, so will be off to get some pretty fabric 😍
I think you are going to go yet down another rabbit hole going into quilting. And I have a stash of beading and quilting supplies more than the law allows 😂
I’m wondering about embroidery thread with tiny beads threaded on it and wrapped around the straw/fabric base. Yours are lovely! Thank you for the tutorial:)
I enjoy watching your videos. I also watch a lot of British shows and enjoy the humor, even if I'm in the US. I wish you the best for you and the children. I have question about fabric for this, I have some nylon fabric material and wonder if it can be used for these type of beads.
If you are watching on your phone you can zoom in to see more closely. That's what I did on occasion to get a closer look. My sewing is rubbish so it will never look as neat as your lovely work, Sam!
@@samanthalatimer1 Hi, thank you for your quick reply. I was watching on my phone full screen & no I can't zoom in like that other person commented. It's when you got your camera above you facing down towards the table & your hands are working close to the table, it's like it's a long distance away. I think if your camera was at least a third of the way closer it would be just right. When you have the camera not facing towards the table but behind your hands facing outwards in front of you, towards what you're working on much easier to see the detail of what you're doing. I hope that makes sense not quite sure how to explain that better. On the computer it's not an issue but on the phone it is. Maybe I should just watch on the computer. Thanks for your enjoyable tutorials I'm learning a lot.
