Bootleg crew: Pickle. Reeker. Info. Wolf. Smasher. Westend Smasher. Toy. Genie LaFork. Lieutenant Jar. I loved the episode where P introduced the bootleg crew to the Dorgs.
Picard:"Number one, contact the Defiant. Inform Worf he's to rendezvous with us at Earth. Specifically, right above South Korea." *eases into chair.* Picard:"It's time, to clean house..." :P
"Wow, it's like looking in the mirror universe, isn't it?" Actually, the gunmetal gray and red highlights DO remind me of how the ISS Enterprise from the *Dark Mirror* TNG novel was described.
We had the audiobook of that when I was a kid so I got to hear John DeLancie's varyingly-delightful impressions of the various cast members hundreds of times.
Good man for mentioning the shooting model being duck-egg blue. Roddenberry liked these odd colours after the pearl paint job in TMP. TMP had a lilac Vulcan ship too, which Spock shows up on. All of which never really was visible on the screen lol.
This Galaxy Class starship could pass for a dominion war refit so it's not too shabby of a replacement toy. Does suck that it's plastic and not metal though. There's a episode of Deep Space 9 where Quark visits his mother and at the end of the episode he plays with a Galoob action figure of a Ferengi. That Ferengi action figure is a call back to when the actor that played Quark (Armin Shimerman) first showed up on TNG and played the very first Ferengi on screen which the toy is modeled after.
Damn it Phelan... Your videos actually got me invested into Bootlegs... and i thank you for it. I just bought something that i know is a knockoff. I actually like the knock off more than the original. I even almost bought "Handsome Boy" and "Turtle Variation Man" (who is Shredder.)
"Worf" is Sneagator, my favorite kinnikuman character! He's a shapeshifter, whose forms are a crocodile (yes, despite having a name closer to alligator) a turtle, a snake, a frill necked lizard, a chameleon, a sneaker, and the foot of a Tyrannosaurus rex. This last one is currently the most popular M.U.S.C.L.E figure, usually called "The Claw", as it looks more like a clawed hand than a foot
Ah yeah. I remember actually seeing Kinnikuman's fight against him back when clips of the show were still on RUclips. Dude takes Kinnikuman with him. (It makes sense in context and Kinnikuman got better ten seconds later but still.....)
I actually had that metal Enterprise-D. Whoa, this is nostalgic for me. I had the Season One Playmates crew though, which...seeing your Geordi...I think I lucked out on.
Of the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, I think the left red one is a Terryman. I don't recognize the left most black figurine. The other two pretty clearly are Brocken Jr. and Sneagator.
1,000 Won! That's only a buck. What a deal. I'll take it! Also, that address was Hong Kong- dong, Seoul. Dong means like neighborhood or area. So, nothing to do with real Hong Kong.
Phelan! How about posting a series of videos comprising ALL of the awesome theme tunes and remixes that have been made for your channel over the years? Phelous boogie! PS. Those warp nacelles join on the side instead of underneath.... Weird!
Phelous hasn't reviewed a Disney Afternoon show in ten years. What makes you think that he's going to do it now? You know, you make a LOT of requests. If no one's making the things that you want to see, then maybe you need to start making your own videos, or at the very least start a writing blog or something about the stuff that you like. Just some food for thought.
M.U.S.C.L.E, at long last. Short version for the uninitiated, Kinnikuman was a popular franchise in japan, but would have no real western presence outside the merchandise of M.U.S.C.L.E and the sequel series, Ultimate Muscle. The four Figures in this bootleg are all designs of various Choujin/Superhuman Wrestlers of the series, from left to right Chi No Wa Man(based off an old puzzle game), Brocken Jr. (from Germany), Some...one...yeah I'm gonna need help with that, and Sneagator, the Shapeshifting Devil Knight that can turn into any manner of reptile. And a giant shoe. This series is weird.
Well clearly they didn't put the name or registration number of the ship because it's not the Enterprise-D, it can be any Galaxy-class ship you want! So convenient! It was _totally_ intended to be an additional Starfleet ship! You know, with all those other memorable Galaxy-class ships we're familiar with... like, uh, the... umm...
Something fishy about the production date, if I were to venture a guess it has something to do with still being allowed to sell stock still in the channels because it was produced before a certain date, but I don't know nearly enough about the relevant copyright law.
Considering all the franchises Super 7 has been making into M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, it might just be a matter of time until we do see Star Trek MUSCLEs...
I dare you to review the Remco Star Trek toys, they are officially licensed but boy do they feel like knock offs! Just look it up and see for yourself.
"WE ARE THE BOOTLEG! LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND SURRENDER YOUR MONEY. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!"

Ah yes, my favourite Kinnikuman arc, and Akuma Shogun was there
SUNSHINES RAYS ATOMISES ENTERPRISE
I was disappointed he went with Star Trek stuff instead of wrestling for the Bootleg Theater.
I was hoping phelous would have mentioned kinnikuman here.
Picard:"Number one, contact the Defiant. Inform Worf he's to rendezvous with us at Earth. Specifically, right above South Korea." *eases into chair.* Picard:"It's time, to clean house..." :P
Make it so.
red stickers make the warp drive go faster!
A Red Enterprise would be 3 times faster.
Finally M.U.S.C.L.E gets mentioned after all these years of this show
Michael Pena big fan. I have so many. Never seen a trek one though
Chris Rockey you people are weiiird, love you 😄
Or as the Japanese (or possily the weebs) know it as: Kinnikuman!
I have lived long enough to see a crossover of star trek: the next generation with kinnikuman, in toy form.
"Wow, it's like looking in the mirror universe, isn't it?"
Actually, the gunmetal gray and red highlights DO remind me of how the ISS Enterprise from the *Dark Mirror* TNG novel was described.
We had the audiobook of that when I was a kid so I got to hear John DeLancie's varyingly-delightful impressions of the various cast members hundreds of times.
Ah yes, it was about time that Belt Buckle 4:24 got some Trekkie love. Poor guy is always overlooked.
I literally just started watching TNG for the first time last week. So I can only assume this is all super accurate
Ah yes, my favourite Star Trek character is Ring Puzzle Man.
Brocken Jr always was the best Star Trek captain.
3 years later and it's still the only star trek bootleg covered truly extremely rare

Looking at the bootleg (I'm not familiar with Kinnikuman), I thought he was a weird anteater.
Thanks for doing these ...I always shut off ad block when watching you and Allison.
I love that two of these figures were Kinnikuman characters that were never released in the M.U.S.C.L.E. toyline.
For some reason this made me realize, I would actually be interested in a StarTrek re-boot if they did it like a Super-Sentai show.
It never clicked it was Kinnikuman figures till I noticed Brocken Jr.
Welcome to the club!
Of the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, I think the left red one is a Terryman. I don't recognize the left most black figurine. The other two pretty clearly are Brocken Jr. and Sneagator.
yep definitely sneagator
InAction I’ve got so many of elephant face as I called him
With shoe string chest
The one they used for Data is Mindpuzzleman
I had that Galoob (SP?) Enterprise! Fun times.
Oh geeze, I remember those Galoob toys! I had two of them: that Enterprise & . . . The ferengi.
Still waiting for Phelous to somehow get ahold of the infamous "sense of right alliance"
I'm glad gallob lost the license the playmates figured were much better
A Bootleg Zone episode on my birthday! What a gift!
And this is a cross-over I never expected.
9:50 Okay, who replaced Riker with Josuke from JoJolion?
"Galoob" (or however it is spelled) sounds like a knock-off company that failed to escape the Galaxy-hole and got mutated.
That was a real toy company that I last heard about in the 90's. Don't know who bought them out.
It sounds like a Galaxy-hole character
@@csmead209
Hasbro bought them out in 1998. That's why Hasbro do Micro Machines now.
@@MathewHaswell Thanks!
Official Star Trek toys from the 60s and 70s were even more bizarre and out of place
I wore that shirt last week! I feel pride that I have the same excellent taste
Is it weird that I've gotten pretty good at predicting what the final rating will be? Yes? ...okay... *hangs head and walks away*
1,000 Won! That's only a buck. What a deal. I'll take it!

PS. Those warp nacelles join on the side instead of underneath.... Weird!
It’s a bootleg, Jim.
Bootleg Trek: not just for JJ Abrams anymore
It's always fun to see you play with toys. :) Btw, never noticed the yellow lips on the old toys.
Brocken Jr. in the Enterprise is something I wasn't quite expecting to ever see.
Yeah! I know!
2:51 I'd love to know what 'Hong Kong dong stationary' is
Phelon confirmed as a Quark fan. :D
Yay, Phelan video!
Phelous have you thought of doing a review on Darkwing Duck?
Phelous hasn't reviewed a Disney Afternoon show in ten years. What makes you think that he's going to do it now? You know, you make a LOT of requests. If no one's making the things that you want to see, then maybe you need to start making your own videos, or at the very least start a writing blog or something about the stuff that you like. Just some food for thought.
Star Trek Bootlegs are rare? Are there wooden Star Trek bootlegs as well?
Please review more Star Trek stuff. I've watched this and Allison's Trek videos five million times
These bad boys from outer space, boldly racing to where no wrestler has defended before.
*in the mirror universe* Phelous D1 is selling bootlegs to take over XD
Oh, Season 1 packaging. I like it!
Live long and prosper, Phelan!
Hey Phelous how did you open it without damaging the packaging?
I usually use a knife to cut around the bubble.
Ah the Ferengi. Remember when they were meant to be the next Star Trek big bad then pretty quickly became a joke?
Deep Space Nine was a better home for them.
Really weird to remove the registration number, when outright bootlegging Star Trek. Did they mistake that for a manufacturer's code or something?

to be fair, Sneagator's name IS basically Snake + Sneaker + Alligator, so it does exactly what it says on the tin
Saved me some time, not sure on the 3rd guy either
I'm a big Kinnikuman fan but for the life of me I don't recognize the bearded one.
EDIT: That's Kintaman (Kuntaman in the animated series)
Whoa
Logically, this was one of the Enterprises in Parallels
OH MAN! I still have those original Galoob figures. Including the die cast Enterprise that was far too small for them to interact with.
Man, this company sure loves crossing over different properties; first TMNT and Robocop, and now Star Trek and Kinnikuman? Damn!
If that belt buckle one was made out of sturdy enough metal instead of rubbery plastic, it could double as a bottle opener.
Well clearly they didn't put the name or registration number of the ship because it's not the Enterprise-D, it can be any Galaxy-class ship you want! So convenient! 8/10? Those toxic grime fumes really did a number on Phelan's judgement skills.
Kids these days will never know how awesome Reading Rainbow was.
BTW, I just noticed the change in the show logo.
The Crossover I never expected I needed
You'd think M.U.S.C.L.E. figures of Kirk and Khan would be a thing that exists for real.
Something fishy about the production date, if I were to venture a guess it has something to do with still being allowed to sell stock still in the channels because it was produced before a certain date, but I don't know nearly enough about the relevant copyright law.
Hey August 30th 1990, that was four years before i was born, in fact August 30th is my birthday
Not a bootleg, but will you be reviewing the Playmobil Ghostbusters?
I can't wait for a TMNT Or Galaxy Warriors crossover with Star Trek
Considering all the franchises Super 7 has been making into M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, it might just be a matter of time until we do see Star Trek MUSCLEs...

huh, I still have that die-cast Ent D
I demand a Star Trek/Kinnikuman crossover
This is far superior to any M.U.S.C.L.E. based Star Trek line out there.
Number one I demand you to take a number two
Someone needs to try to recreate this crew in Star Trek Online.
It's official: South Korea is BEST Korea.
From the moments it seems like this is a crossover 😜

I totally had the Galoob enterprise d
I have one of the Non bootleg Enterprise D
Phelan i hope you don't quit youtube because of the stupid coppa law
Ok thankfully he didn’t but just imagine if he did, or just imagine his channel getting DELETED! Hope it doesn’t happen.
@@SpideyFan2002 eh do not jinx it please 😣

oh wow
Okay but when’s the Transformers Animated series review?
Sneagator is Worf & Mindpuzzleman is Data. Laugh out loud.
M.U.S.C.L.E.: The Next Generation? You mean Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E.!
More like Cosmix: The next generation!
Kinnikuman is from space so the crossover makes sense.
Seam legit!
Adorably odd :)
LOL, Phelous. 😂😂😂
The needs of the original out weigh the needs of the bootleg.
I dare you to review the Remco Star Trek toys, they are officially licensed but boy do they feel like knock offs! Just look it up and see for yourself.
Wow.
Can you look at the street fighter animated movie!!!!!!!!
Sweet.
