Looks alright. Really reminds me of years and years and years ago being a master xenomorph in Aliens Online. It was pretty much the same format as what became extraction shooters: humans go in and want to kill all the eggs then get away, and xeno players needed to stop that.
@@singlememory it was great, but it was also an early version of what we now call “live service”, so has been complete taken offline for many years. There are some rare videos here and there of though.
The eggs have multiple stages that it gets to after sometime and not after kills. stage 1 it spawns in gives very little. stage 2 that happen after some min it gives a lot more compared to stage 1 and stage 3 that can unlock all skills after 3-2 eggs. A tactic that i do with a friend is to get enough energy to have the cloud spit and scan and then just start hunting players while the eggs are growing making it so incase you die you can fast get most or all skills back.
I finding I'm doing what seems like a decent amount of damage (400+ last time), harassing them and draining their resources. But I have trouble knowing when to engage and actually finish them off any quickly. Is this normal? I feel like if they're good we shouldn't be able to just rush in and kill them, because they have one life, a lot more threats, and more to lose, but I'm still wondering if there's something I could be doing better. Still I find it fun to lure them into chasing me into an egg cluster, or the auto turret, or pushing them toward other players so they end up having to fight each other and not worry about me as I mess them both up. It was funny as hell this group of 2 humans said on mic that I better mess with someone else because they already knew how to play, so I trapped them with only two ways out and started slowly covering those halls with eggs until they had no chance of escape.
It's definitely about dwindling their health very slowly. Eventually you can set up a trap in an area as you've mentioned and really starting doing some numbers. At the end of the day, fighting a 3 man will always be challenging. It's all about trying to pick them off one by one.
I didnt know that about the electricity, i thought its just a hazard for them, thats great to know
Your energy bar turns blue when you're touching it.
That's how I figure it out.

Never played it, I need to do some research, sounds pretty cool.

I’m learning how my enemy plays so I can better defeat them 😎
Same lol I just wanted to know what their HUD was like
I didn't realise that the levels were basically pitchblack lol. Played alien for my first several games
a little thing about the spit, you mention that it has drop off, but you can hold right click to charge the spit and make it go straight
You can? Oh shit.
That should be in the tooltip.
I've been having to stand practically on top of flares to put them out.
Yes, you can! I didn't realize it at the time, but I did forget to mention it and it is really OP!

It is scary how fast you learn games and how competitive you make it, lol.
The concept of the game is great but I feel like the game is super unbalanced. Marines are just so easy
the game trailer looks so shitty bro
