I'd be surprised if there wasn't dialog. At one point, you can see Raye's mouth moving as if she's talking. As a trailer, I can see why they may have left that out to focus more on the action, but for the actual anime, I think they'll include it in. No doubt.

It appears they are taking the same route they've done for series after Duel Monsters, where the anime version of a series like 5Ds has completely different plots and settings compared to the manga version of 5Ds - though sharing similar casts of characters (with slightly divergent backstories).
It is exactly same as the master guide told, the manga is the sequel, in the card story human still exists, in the manga human are extinct.

It seems like they've mostly ignored the manga lore, which is a shame, the set up of Raye as the last human on Earth while the war keeps going due to the AI the human left behind that just follow their programming is very cool
I mean maybe not, we basically only see 2 humans after all
@Jrpg_guy For context, Raye *was* the only human on Earth, but the enemy nation kidnapped her robot caretaker and steal from her the technology to basically make humans on tubes, which is how Roze came to be (they made her grew super fast). After some time, and in part due to her interactions with Raye, she starts develop emotions and enters a rebellious phase. Because of this, the enemy nations develops clones technology, so they have soldiers that have less life expectancy but that can be mass produced and are more easy to control (because they come incorpored with "you feel pain if you disobey" machine). These are Camelia and Azalea

It’s kind of the opposite, the manga ignored the card lore.
Konami always release the story and lore of archetypes in an art book (I think, can’t remember what it’s called). But whoever wrote the manga ignored most of it and took liberties with the card lore that Konami made.
So what we see in this animation is a lot more faithful to the original lore.
Roze is a human just like Raye
Insane, i hope this was a teaser and we get some plot with dialog. In sub of course please dont use english voice actors lol.
Realistically though i think this is all we will get. The way they went through all of the card arts makes me think that all the archetypes they plan on making will get one short like this.

they are retconning the manga plot lol
It's probably only for Master Duel, the anime in April will be different for sure.

Like the OCG manga for magistus is different too just share the same character from card and artist just expand it.
