Budapest was a better experience than I planned on. The Central Market was my most memorable stop. Hotel was right across the river from Parliament. I woke up one morning 3am and 27F. A woman was jogging along the river. Made me believe it was a safe place.

The scenery at the Danube river is stunning! That's basically an only thing I'm really missing in Vienna in comparison - a nice riverside promenade with beautiful views and lovely old bridges.
