Is it wrong to assume that one could create their own models instead?

Hi @Just for Work ... sorry for the delay in our reply. It depends on what type of model you're talking about. Sage software does not create any of the models in Navisworks or Assemble. It pulls all the measurement data from the models to create an estimate. If you're referring to models inside Sage Estimating, then yes, you can create your own.

This is a very powerful estimating tool. Especially when pulling in Navisworks models for takeoff. The ability to build assemblies and then replicate them is super useful. It’s also nice if other Sage modules are used for job tracking and accounts payable / accounts receivable as the data can be moved from module to module without additional data entry. I was also able to use takeoff lists for requesting material quotes.

should have a quick summary before detail explanation. too many software's to spend time to know it may not work.
