Hi bro,if u are not the owner of the file, then you’ll have to make a copy of it. Protection will be unlocked.

What to do ?

an “Invalid user” exception usually occurs due to issues related to user authentication or permissions. Check If u have necessary editing rights to the sheet etc and u have provided the necessary permissions as in video.

@@SheetSmarts Yes i already authorized the file. and what im using gmail account is the owner of the sheet. Yet it prompt Exception: Invalid user: "". only in Protect Button but when I clicked the Unprotect Button it runs successfully .

@DerieSkye there’s isn’t an easy way to avoid the dreaded timeout . how many file ids did u put ? Can u reduce the number of files processed?
