These earthly metaphors also serve to reinforce emotional and spiritual concepts. For example, the concept of "rivers of milk, honey, and wine" symbolizes purity, sweetness, and joy. Similarly, gardens (جنة) symbolize peace, tranquility, and beauty, which are deeply desired by all human beings.

Here are some Quranic descriptions of Paradise using earthly materials:
1. Rivers of Water, Milk, Honey, and Wine:
The Quran describes rivers flowing with different substances, such as water, milk, honey, and wine, symbolizing abundant blessings in Paradise.
"In them [Jannah] are rivers of water, which will never spoil, and rivers of milk, the taste of which will never change, and rivers of wine, delicious to those who drink it, and rivers of honey, clear and pure..."

"And We will admit them to shades extended, and in the shade of trees they will recline."

Gardens and trees symbolize comfort, peace, and eternal rest-concepts that are universally desired by humans, particularly the idea of being under shade and surrounded by beauty. In reality, the gardens of Paradise will far exceed the finest gardens on earth.
3. Palaces and Thrones:
The Quran mentions the rewards of thrones and palaces, symbolizing honor, luxury, and status in Paradise.
"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, the Most Merciful will appoint for them love. So, We have made it easy for you [O Muhammad] to explain the Quran..."
(Surah Maryam, 19:96)
"And they will be on thrones, facing each other."
(Surah At-Tur, 52:20)
The idea of thrones and palaces is meant to convey the ultimate reward of dignity, respect, and enjoyment in the presence of God.

"Therein they will have fruits and everything that they ask for."
