I mean it was straight up a happy ending. I kept expecting it to be either Brooke made a deal with the devil to survive or turns out Bobby is a serial killer. But no. It ended on a happy note. Benjamin is at peace, Bobby is at peace, Brooke is at peace, Donna is at peace, Montana is at peace, Trevor gets eternity with the love of his life, Margaret is going to get the Richard treatment, Richard is still trapped. This is a good ending to my favorite season of AHS.
I can see what you're saying it being a happy ending and all for some of the characters, but what about the people that are stuck at the camp for eternity? That's not a happy ending for them.. that is truly sad. Especially since they have to keep killing their two victims over and over again.
@@jesseluv13 It's as happy an ending as you could hope for from AHS..... If you ignore Coven which always have happy endings whenever they are the focus.
I just finished this season and as soon as the music started up when Bobby started running I was like: HOW DARE YOU!?!? And was so worried that like, Ramirez was gonna pop outta nowhere and knife him... but it actually ended on a good ending! Bobby got his answers and got to say thank you, and good-bye. The Final Guy. I was NOT PREPARED for these feels!!!
@@brianabrown9612 because like Richard said to Bobby in there fight the last time he was at camp red wood his father betrayed satan and Richard was there to collect on satan’s debt.
I loved this season of ahs. I cried my eyes out. Kept me memorized for every episode. All the twist and turns were extremely well written and acted. Wow
The song choice here is actually perfect. The song is saying listen to those you love before they die, dont be mad at them and try not to judge them. In the case of AHS, it means judge these 80s rockers not for how they lived. But how they died. They died heroes. Keeping great evil locked in the camp for eternity.
0:08 I love you Montana duke like your boyfriend Trevor said you are 80s forever. Shit this whole ending is a tear jerker makes my eyes water just watching it.
Hotel , Apocalypse and 1984 had happ(ish) endings Cult , Roanoke, Asylum had very dark endings I think Cult and Asylum are both really dark seasons. They’re intense and they don’t let up throughout
@@polilla.polyphemus So having as deserving as Cordelia Goode as the supreme, opening up a new generation era for witches where they can now find a home and be known to the world that they exist while prospering into the future until Mallory and Michael Langdon appeared isn't a happy ending?
Great season, great music, great story. Emma Roberts,Billie Lourd,John Carroll Lynch,Leslie Grossman and Cody Fern are awesome. And I love Lily Rabe. This final scene is exciting.
This was the first season of AHS I ever watched, I was not disappointed. Kinda sad they have to live on as ghosts in that camp, it's basically purgatory. Anyway, the 80s will never die! Born 1985 baby. Loved Montana's sexy ass!
This was the season that got me hooked on AHS. I was born in the early 90's, but I grew up listening to a lot of 80's music due to my mother's influence. She lives for the 80's.
Fun fact: The Living Years wasn't meant to be the song to close the show. Whatever was chosen originally (the show has never revealed what it was) when trying to clear the song and finding out AHS wanted it, the record label jacked up the price.
Like running the hell away from there is definitely close enough to a happy ending that american horror story will ever be plus the lady is right the 80s will never die ever

I swear this is the closest to a happy ending I've seen in American Horror Story, and it's probably because of the music
It's a little weird though, how seasons one, 4 and 9 all basically end the same way. Most everyone dead but relatively at peace with it.
claytoaj and hotel too 😂

This season felt like it had a true ending. It was awesome
agreed.
"The 80s will never die" the best line i heard in awhile
damn right long live the 80s.
Just watched the 80s horror documentary In Search of Darkness. That statement pretty much sums up the whole experience.
I thought the same...
*"The 80's will never die..."*
How i wish shed been right. Even IN the 80s i felt how great it was and knew life would suck badly once 80s were gone. I was right
Spider Man Hell. $&@#ing. Yeah.
that line gets me every time because its true long live the 80s.
It did because of sjw
A Ward me I was born in 1988 and yes you are correct sir.
I love billie lourd as Montana she is 80s forever and I love her for it.
I love that she got the last lines of the season.
It's amazing how she looks just like her mother (Carrie Fisher) and grandmother (Debbie Reynolds) when they were young.

The song...so unforgettable
you read my mind here.
This was the most consistent writing and ending of all AHS seasons so far.
In theory he could go visit right at that gate right? Like he clearly can see them and talk as long as he doesn't cross the camp property line.
Only problem is Richard Ramirez is still alive and can kill him
Yeah true but he’s still at risk being that close to the one who wants to kill him he could escape again never know
This made me genuinely cry.
Me too
Me too. I cried so so much.
Perfect song to end the series. The Living Years gets me every single time. Damn you Ryan Murphy 😭😭
Kinda ironic that these days mainstream artist are replicating the old 80s sound. Loved this season.
Asylum and 1984 had the best ending. Gave me goosebumps and tears. The 80s will never die. That line hit harder. As i was born in 80s too. 🥺🥺🥺
The look on Montana’s face made me sad when Bobby ran out of there. I felt it was her longing to get the hell out of Camp Redwood.
0:08 I love you Montana duke like your boyfriend Trevor said you are 80s forever. Shit this whole ending is a tear jerker makes my eyes water just watching it.
Yeah, Bobby, if a ghost lady waves a machete in front of you and says you should leave, you better.
Oh man, I cryed so much in this final scene. Who can relate too? Lol
SAMEEEE

Definitely one of the better seasons imo. Not like the last one.
I wonder what Episode 10 would be about if they stick with the original Episodes 10 plan.
Yeah I was shocked when this season was only 9 episodes. Cuz I was thinking there was def at least one episode left of plot yet
The massacre would happen in Ep 9 than Ep 10 would be this
That season of AHS was simply the best season and I have not watched since.

For me even though there are no Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters this is the best AHS season. Emma as the lead role 🎉
