It is not good. Monkeys bones are designed to walk on 4 legs as a dog by the way his head attaches to his skull. Walking like this is harmful to his body but some viewers this it’s “cute”. Monkeys are monkeys not humans. They should be allowed to act like the creatures they were created to be.

At the beginning , I was touched by the story of Koko and I had sympathy for this couple who rescued the little monkey.
But today my opinion has changed. I'm sorry, but I have doubts about this man and woman (Koko and his sad, sleepy look all the time...Yoko walking bipedal proving that he is abused hurtfully when the camera is off....).
Who is the man ? What is his name ? And the identity of his wife ? What is the man's profession ? Where do they live ? In all likelihood, we are in Cambodia. Their home address ? The address where the shows are filmed? (studio address) Who are their neighbours?
Can members of associations located in Cambodia or Thailand visit the family and observe how the two monkeys live and are fed when the camera is off? Does the woman have links (family...) with certain people who own youtube monkey channels ?
What are the precise circumstances of Koko's accident? Who are the witnesses? Why didn't the couple seek help from many organizations in Cambodia that could have effectively treated Koko's foot for free? Was there premeditation to create a story to hook the public to their youtube channel dedicated to Koko that they planned to create?
RUclips money can be huge incomes in Cambodia considering the exchange rates and standard of living (Cambodia : US$270 per capita income in 2022)
In any case, Cambodian law prohibits having monkeys as pets in the house. This couple breaks the law.
I hope we will have answers.

Why should anyone answer you when you use a fictional identity. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
Long story short, koko was becoming too disruptive so they most likely had to maim him. The "beloved pets" are their livelihood; this 'monkey' youtube channel is just one among many, operated under a syndicate. I'm sure you're aware of this. Personally I do not have misgivings about animals being used as 'income-spinners' especially by communities that may not have an alternative to improving their standard of living; but there is always the possibiity of the animals being subjected to all kinds of abuse. There is evidence of this, which was heartbreaking to watch, unless you're evil.

Yoko doesn't just go to get a bath. He meanders along the way, checking out the estate and nibbling some vegetation he finds along his route. All this from the boy who used to scream at the sight of water as if Momma was killing him instead of simply trying to keep him clean! Look at him now! Mom used great patience and kindness to first coax him into the water. He does love it now.
