IT'S AMAZING!!! I always enjoyed listening to any MGMT songs. They are so good at getting you into their head and making you think about something without you even noticing it. Their new songs are a real event for me.
They're channelling Brian May on Bubblegum Dog. There's so much going on with this record. It's going to slowing reveal itself over many listens.

You know, when this dropped I thought this was the weakest album since the self titled, at least to me, since there is no “bad” albums with them, just different.
Around 4 complete listens later this probably ranks behind Congratulations as my favorite album from the guys. It’s just such a heartfelt album and all the songs are simply beautiful.
