Wings Fpv - my step-dad was counted as a virus case. He had a flu-y thing a few weeks back, called the doctor who said his symptoms sound similar to COVID and, over the phone mind you, said to self isolate and all the usual trash they spout, and told him that they’d count him as a case of the virus!! How can such blatant stupidity be allowed from a medical practitioner?!??!
Weeks have passed, he’s fine, no-one else in the household caught it or displayed any symptoms whatsoever, even grandmother, 83 years old didn’t catch it - not as infectious as they make out... if he even had it!
Recording cases of a virus without testing for confirmation that the individual had it in the first place is bad enough, but recording a COVID death simply because the virus was present a person when they died is completely another! Unbelievable. Talk about manipulating statistics; thoroughly dishonest, illogical criteria for classification of COVID death that completely distorts any assessment of the severity of the disease and it’s so openly being done! The misrepresentation of conclusions, drawn from predictive models and bad data, as irrefutable wisdom is causing panic unnecessarily. An utterly shameful and corrupt abuse of statistics; completely opposed to scientific principles and the notion of truth.

@@MrRed9zz the PSA for medical workers are not hazmat suits. i AM a professional, and for years I have vacuum sealed hazmat suits at home. Because it's MY duty to be prepared, not the lazy, expensive government.
We had pandemics before, mostly originating from Asia, so this was not unexpected.
So it's the fault of of the health departments for closing the local manufacturing of essential supplies and especially hospitals, who did not stock up on supplies.

Just got home from the grocery store. I was getting weird looks from everyone for wearing a mask and gloves (I have had a failed kidney transplants, transfusions, and more). A guy even had a coughing fit over the apples. No one seemed to care. I’m in Canada. Am I crazy?
I have an autoimmune disease and a family of six. Everyone we know rocks their mask and gloves and none of our kids have been off our property since they shut down the state schools here. And its hit or miss on whether people in public are wearing them or not, but I'd say more are then are not and all ages as well. Kansas, USA

Masks are REQUIRED to enter ANYWHERE in my stste right now (the only places open are food markets and pharmacies) you're not crazy. Everyone should be wearing a mask outside of the house.

I'm sitting here about to walk into Amazon and get this crazy overtime we are getting. It's a risk I'm willing to take. I do rock my PPE. I have been able to stack thousands because of this epidemic. People losing their jobs left and right, none of my family friends have it. I have been blessed. I feel sorry for the unfortunate. I pray for you. I pray for this country.

You and I both! I don't work at Amazon, but I do work somewhere that is considered essential and there's a CRAZY amount of overtime hours plus all the pay increases we have gotten. It's a blessing in these trying times, honestly. I work at a call center and call centers are basically giant petri dishes where diseases spread like wild fires, but I have been getting so much money to be able to sustain myself AND help out my parents! So I have to keep going! Got my mask and gloves though and plenty of hand sanitizer as well as washing my hands every so often.
I just wish other people would take care of themselves more because there are a lot of people not taking this seriously thinking it won't affect them or if it does, they'll be fine. But it's not so much about YOU getting infected as much as it about you infecting others!

2 hours before this video came out we have just found out new things about the virus,
1: It can travel though air pollution particles, so it can travel hella far, thats why it's so bad in city or high pollution areas.
2: Its alot more infectious then we thought.
There are alot more things they are finding out, for a example, people can get it multiple times, but that is still being looked over, same with alot of other stuff, we could still have it completely wrong, its to early to tell, just stay updated.

As an amazon Whole Foods Shopper I can say that they are definitely giving us lots of things to prevent the spread of the virus. They recently implemented thermal cameras at my location as well as requiring all workers to wear face masks and gloves. They also gave us face shields!

I have been living alone in a large house, so I have been leaving the non-refrigerated shopping out on a table, and disinfecting the others and packing it away. I have also put my coat and post in another room, to let the virus die on them. I wash my hands afterwards. Luckily, I have not had to clean everything that comes into my house, that’s just insane. Feel sorry for people living in studio flats.

We wash /sanitize everything that comes into our house upon entry including ourselves and clothes! We have set up a cleaning station and have a procedure in place for Amazon, grocery , and restaurant deliveries.
