I love everything about this car. The stock and mild racing upgrades without taken too much of the stock car away or destroying it. And i love how it was when i first saw it and for the most part is had all 70s 80s aftermarket parts its like a time machine
Yes it is enjoyable but real car guys barely get to drive their cars because there is always something wrong with them and they can’t afford to get them repaired.
Man you guys are living the life! Epic car trips with bad transmissions, $300 car purchases, and odds are youll do something similar the next week. Keep up what you guys are doing, but remember you gotta film the adeventures for us dramers lol
great mini documentary from the guys at hot rod magazine. it was a great story and i for one appreciate you showing footage of the vehicles shown in 4:55. nice job. :)
That's and awesome bee. Sorry to learn the trans had trouble, those things are usually really tough. I had a 68 Charger with the torqueflite trans. Drove it hard, lots of racing, full throttle events and it was still working perfect at 100,000 miles. But it wasn't in storage for 10 years. Mine got a fluid change every 25,000 miles. Plus this bee had a lot more torque then my 383. I'm just glad someone saved this old girl so she didn't end up in a crusher.
Hahaha sick you guys passed threw Pico Rivera. I notice that Tommy's like no tomorrow plus the nail spa behind it. You guys are the greatest. Hope to see more vids of your adventure. Sweet car wish i could have something like that one day.
First time seeing this video, but I wanted to add that I hope you did something good with the 71 Chrysler 300. My dad had a 65 and 69. The 69 was a special order (his sister was a dealer). It may have been a 4dr. but it did have bucket seats and the center console. Had the 440 with all the additions. His 65 was equipped like the L model, but lacked the badging. Super fast cars, just ask my dad's insurance agent.
Just buff out the 300 and she should be good to go in the 1/4 Mile !! Love that 70 Super Bee ... I had one the same color with a 383 Magnum auto. I sure miss that car.... and YES ,, there IS room to hook up in that back seat !! LOL !! OH MY MY ... GOOD TIMES WERE HAD IN THAT CAR !!
The last time I went on vacation....those were the keys!!! Hmmmm guess I'm grown way too old except my once of week to Kroger car is tune down to 1000+ hp! 3 miles a gallon 116 octane...aka...real men's perfume! Life is what you make it! Well my car and I are both old but the four extra NOS tanks are new! Great video of how to enjoy life!
You guys have the perfect profession! Build and play with hot-rods everyday. If I could make money doing it, (or at least make her think I was turning a profit) my wife would be more like that...
Finnegan put on a sticker from 2012 this was before roadkill I'm sure, by far the baddest car I seen on road kill or hot rod garage at this time the rake colors totally cool car .
Remember David a cool trans is a happy trans! Take the trans cooling away from the rad. make it seperate.I like to lay them flat under the fan as it cools at 0 mph.I hope to see you on the strip some day.I also have a 1LE IROCZ 1990 with 6.3 mi. on it.
Love Finnegan's mint C-Body, I would like to see you do a story on that car. Nothing rides like those old c's, they are real crusiers and there are so few of them left that I have people asking me what model is mine ( I have a black blown 65 polara 880 convertable, very rare). So many people have asked me if this is what the batmobile was made from.
I'm currently restoring my 1979 Opala, I'm going to turn it into an SS. At the end of the restoration I will make a nice and big trip! (Funny thing is that right now I don't even have a driver's license LOL).
Finnegan sold his soul to Carrillo rods, apparently. I'm pissed because I actually noticed what he wears in these webisodes! A Super Bee with a Hemi running high 11s? The hood didn't come off for the drive home? CRAZY. You guys are pretty much the shit. NEVER go on "real" TV. Why do so many people say you should be on TV? This is WAY better than TV. Keep it coming, great stuff!
Never really was a HUGE muscle car fan but I am a fan of muscle cars. And its the reason why I watch these type of vids. After watching a few vids on utube about freiburger adventures I didn't think he was at all into the tuner world which I am a HUGE fan of and currently own an Evo 8 MR. So who's Evo X is that at the end of the vid? lol Do you guys do work on imports?
I used to be like that when I was a teenager. But when me and buddies grew up we all realized all these car are only as good as you build them up to be, it's just that MoPars started off better!!! hahaha
Gentlemen, prior to this episode, I was never a Mopar guy. That is one freakin' beautiful build and now that I had a backseat view of the whole adventure, I am a changed man. I cannot believe that you two nutjobs (and the crew) actually get paid for doing what you do. But as the old say goes, "find what you love, and find a way to get paid for it". As always, I learn so much, laugh myself silly (sometimes peeing myself), and am generally entertained by shinanigans. Epic Job, men.
Ya okay... so what did you do with the Chrysler 300? I had one but a 4 door ~ factory Bronze Gold, all white interior... last of the high compression 440's. Actually was a garage find, and bought as a backup motor for my Bud Bill's Black Super Bee... same year as this one (but we're Rodders in Canada) Bill's running twin 440 marines in his 41 ft Criscraft Cabin Cruiser. Gotta love 440's. Though I had a 383 factory Blue Block 68 Road Runner (1 of 12 made) Mopar Rocks :)
Hot Road magazine is owned by Source Interlink Media which also owns many other automotive based magazine brands. Domestics, motorcycles, imports and 4x4s, their magazines cover them all.
i was thinking the same thing, normally nor interested but id be interested to get your guys opinion and run down on it. but as always another great episode
I love everything about this car. The stock and mild racing upgrades without taken too much of the stock car away or destroying it. And i love how it was when i first saw it and for the most part is had all 70s 80s aftermarket parts its like a time machine
It's great to see REAL car guys + doing what real car guys do = Hot Rod magazine will be around for the next 65+ years.
Yes it is enjoyable but real car guys barely get to drive their cars because there is always something wrong with them and they can’t afford to get them repaired.
Dude, that shit about the socks on the ending is classic comedy! Gotta love it, thanks for putting a smile on our faces!
11 mpg now thatz some good stuff. Hreat show guys definitely one of the best shows keep it real. Thanks Mike NJ
i was reading t your magazine and then i saw this sick car on youtube so i clicked on it, and it was the same one that was in the magazine!!! awsome!
congratulations Freiburger!! It was fun watching! Glad to see it on the road.
Man you guys are living the life! Epic car trips with bad transmissions, $300 car purchases, and odds are youll do something similar the next week. Keep up what you guys are doing, but remember you gotta film the adeventures for us dramers lol
good video. makes me want to go on more adventure road trips
After watching the Crusher road trip and now the Super Bee you guys have restored my interest in Hot Rod. Very cool.
Loving that 300. Only wanted one for about 39 years now.
I envisage great things for this car.
Indeed, God bless the woman who put up with car guys.
I think the 2 coolest grills on Mopar muscle cars is the 70 Super Bee and my 68 Charger.
WisdomVendor1 yarns ..
WisdomVendor1 71 cuda has the best imo
WisdomVendor1 make vids about your car
my 67 charger grille way better
'70 Charger had the same bumper/ grill unlike the'68 and '69 I wasn't particularly fond of the horse collor '70 Coronet grill
Although they are heavy, I will always love the old Super bees and Roadrunners! 68. till 1970s.
YOU KEPT THE HOOD ON! Guess there's a first time for everything!
they've sold out man.
I find these more entertaining than new episodes of roadkill
I'm so glad the quality has gone up
it was funny at the end he said; "We are getting better at this."
great mini documentary from the guys at hot rod magazine. it was a great story and i for one appreciate you showing footage of the vehicles shown in 4:55. nice job. :)
There's something about a Super Bee body and it really like. That's a beautiful car
thanks for the ride
" The transmission is blown up"
....better the trans than the engine !
I'm just glad someone saved this old girl so she didn't end up in a crusher.
very cool vid, have not been on a road trip i awhile haven to wrench on the rod makes it so more memorable lol
I love the Super Bee trip to Vegas. And like Curly used to say , A round trip even!
Out of all the cars you have that super bee is my favorite mopars rule 👍❤😁
That Super Bee is a righteous ride!!!

Awesome, keep up the great work guys!
Once again, you guys are so funny. Great vid and again great car. It's good to see the dream come true. Your's in hot rodding,Jeff Nicholls. NZ.
Hahaha sick you guys passed threw Pico Rivera. I notice that Tommy's like no tomorrow plus the nail spa behind it. You guys are the greatest. Hope to see more vids of your adventure. Sweet car wish i could have something like that one day.
Awesome video. You've done well there
Well done guys! Really enjoy the videos.

The original del taco ! Holy TACO !!! ( you guys ROCK !)

***** God bless women who put up with car guys. Enough said.....The few that are out there. I think it's about 10, or less.
+jump oricakle Love that body style ever since I saw the 300 Hurst Edition
You guys have the perfect profession! Build and play with hot-rods everyday. If I could make money doing it, (or at least make her think I was turning a profit) my wife would be more like that...
This was like the foreshadowing to Road Kill...
Pretty cool....
It got 11 mpg on the highway?!
I'm legitimately impressed it did that good!

.WHERE'S THE F-BOMB!!!!!!!!!!
Finnegan put on a sticker from 2012 this was before roadkill I'm sure, by far the baddest car I seen on road kill or hot rod garage at this time the rake colors totally cool car .
@bmw76308 Cool dude, thanks. A video on our rescue of a 66 Buick is coming in a week or so.
Jesus you guys go on the cooool friggin road trips. And eat like kings.Kings i tells ya!!!!
Man. You guys should make a series out of this or something
Remember David a cool trans is a happy trans! Take the trans cooling away from the rad. make it seperate.I like to lay them flat under the fan as it cools at 0 mph.I hope to see you on the strip some day.I also have a 1LE IROCZ 1990 with 6.3 mi. on it.
I like how the video starts out "And then something went wrong". I thought this was a secret episode of Roadkill, but ya'll made it home ok.
nice job guys
This could all be a carefully crafted illusion, but these guys seem to have pretty great jobs.
That's a sweet super bee my fav mopar
So impressive.

HELL YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.This is the place to be!
Fun Fact: According to Finnegan, that Chrysler 300 is still sitting on that lot. (Or was the last time he mentioned it like a year ago?)
I think they should do a roadkill episode with it just for the nostalgia!
Cool Video! im a GM guy all the way, but that bee looks sweet
what happened to that 300? it should go on roadkill!
+John Bedard its still sitting there, they talked about it in a Q&A session on hotrod garage.
+Martijn Bruggers do you know which hotrod garage epsiode that was?
+Mr.Omg ep.4
I love this car everything about it. I will take the day you think about selling it even with the broken tranz
Cripple Bitchin it's his first car man don't even bother askin
nice score on the '71 Chrysler 300!
Finnegan sold his soul to Carrillo rods, apparently. I'm pissed because I actually noticed what he wears in these webisodes! A Super Bee with a Hemi running high 11s? I want to see a part 3!
another great vid! you guys should do a trip to see finnish cruises :)
I want to see them go pick up the chrysler, get it running and drive around on Roadkill, would be awesome :)
@jankinnu It got 11.5 mpg on the highway
Alright Im a mopar guy through and through but that truly is a gorgeous evo at 6:38
I do love that body style, the best looking mopars!!! Not that anyone cares
A really great show
As big of a supporter of 15" standard size wheels as i am, i have to say that thoes particular wheels on the bee would look alot better as 17s i think
That 300 is clean! for $300, score!
The memories.
Cool as Usual guys. I want In

my god love that 300 put a 440 on it on an episode.
At 3:20 you got a 300 for 300.00 bucks what happened ???
SonOfDrTito, I asked Mike at a Power Tour and he said he never came back to get it.
had two 70 bees in my teens (1987-90) both cost under 2K with 440 power.
I've got a 70 super bee, well actually 2, I need to know where did you get that hood, and what kind of wheels are you running?
Gentlemen, prior to this episode, I was never a Mopar guy. That is one freakin' beautiful build and now that I had a backseat view of the whole adventure, I am a changed man. "We're getting better at this!"
What rims are on the superbee?
What's the song at 4:19 ?
So this has been out for 8 years, I’ve been watching RK for past 2-3 years and I’ve never seen this till now? 🤔
Ya okay... so what did you do with the Chrysler 300? I had one but a 4 door ~ factory Bronze Gold, all white interior... last of the high compression 440's. Whatever happened to the Chrysler 300 the Finn bought in this episode? I don't recall ever seeing it in any episodes or projects.
At about 4:50, they find immortan joe's fleet. Seriously that artillery wagon looks like a step down from the gigahorse
Hot Road magazine is owned by Source Interlink Media which also owns many other automotive based magazine brands. Domestics, motorcycles, imports and 4x4s, their magazines cover them all.
Did Finnegan pick up the Chrysler 300...any episodes possible on how a build would be done with that car?
i was thinking the same thing, normally nor interested but id be interested to get your guys opinion and run down on it. but as always another great episode
you guys made a whole trip with out taking the hood off XD
@cincyblows at 3:10 into the video you can see the back of an old rusty looking slingshot drgster.
What's the song at 4:19
I love the wheel/tire combo on this car! Are these the Weld Racing Woodward RT Black wheels on this car?
