    Thanks for this great vid - you make it look so easy (and easier since the 2 screws in the bottom can stay in place 😆). Many thanks

    Is this for the C320 with the Bose? I have a 03 with the Bose but same radio as you have. Any way to install it? I heard it is fiber optics and is a pain

    Hey thanks heaps bro. I have a C320 and want to replace the ugly ass stereo and pocket that is all cracking on mine for a touchscreen and your video by far had the best explanation and clear video. Much appreciated, especially useful with the tiny clips inside the stupid vents at the top lol. Your pocket was heaps nice btw. Im assuming you keep your car garaged or well covered. Respect.

    Can you use the aux input on the new stereo or do you have to use the stock one located in the glovebox? If you can you use the stereos aux input, how does it work?

    • @jptheinstallguy
      @jptheinstallguy  4 года назад

      Unless you buy a aux retention harness use the one one the radio

    Hey thanks for the video. I have a couple of questions, did your steering wheel controls work afterwards?
    Also, my MB radio looks the same so can I assume I won’t have any FibreOptic wires I’ll have to deal with?

    • @jptheinstallguy
      @jptheinstallguy  4 года назад +1

      Your steering wheel controls will only work if you install them. Once you remove the factory radio the swc goes away you can buy the module and install them to retain the swc though. If yours is the same as this one then you shouldn't have to worry about fiber optics.

    Did you disconnect the battery on your car or just pull radio fuse Mercedes can be a bitch with battery disconnection and tripping

    • @jptheinstallguy
      @jptheinstallguy  5 лет назад

      I know right I actually didnt do any of that and to tell you the truth I never disconnect the battery just have to be careful when your pulling harness

      @@jptheinstallguy they are a nightmare I've just done mine I pulled the fuse to radio checked with a voltmeter and then changed it I would definitely recommend pulling the fuse my friend changed his radio a the car would not start and loads of lights came on he wired it right cost him 1500 to sort as Mercedes had to do it

      I got it man. Just weird seeing different colors then what I'm used too haha. I just wired the stock harness to the radios harness. Left enough if I wanted to rewire the stock radio clip.
