Rich kids? LOL!
All that equipment you see in our videos comes from YEARS of accumulating (we've been in other bands in the past and Adalie has been a band for almost six years). We're also in our twenties, so I don't know if the "kid" thing works there either. Also, if we were so rich, we'd be shooting videos in a state-of-the-art building. These videos are done in a typical Philly home.

Hey! Thanks for noticing my playing style. Next month will be eleven solid years for me playing the drums. As for being left-handed, I actually am naturally left-handed, but through parental corrections earlier in my life, I had learned to rely on my right hand for writing and a few other tasks. I'm now ambidextrous, so I can switch between left and right and alternate between the two in my daily life (i.e. write with right, brush teeth with left, open a beverage bottle left-handed... hahaha).
The memories this brings back.. sitting in a room crying to this song as he destroyed me more every day. Girls.. be strong, never let a guy push you around, remember you deserve better

No, not necessarily acoustic because in a song, each instrument has it's own stem. He can be asking for the song without the drum stem. What do you think instrumentals are? Songs without the vocal stem.

This is great, however I truly hate the underline audotune that some cover bands use.
No offense, but nearly every band since the inception of Autotune or Melodyne are using these plugins in some way or another, not just RUclips cover bands. It is extremely rare for vocals to make it to master without some form of editing or key correction.
Silverjerk I am not saying that it is only cover bands. But when someone is resinging a preexisting song I see more talent in the one who is not using audotune to the one who is. I understand this is not always the case. However, when it comes to my preferences in cover bands, I much prefer no use of audotune.
Sorry for being adversarial, Abby, I just find it somewhat ironic that you hold the cover band to a higher standard than the individual's responsible for the original source material. That's a bit like asking the street performer to do a better job than the professional entertainer. I think it's possible you've developed a contrived opinion of this subject based on the popular, and somewhat mainstream concept that autotune is "bad."
I've played in bands for 20 years, for some of those years my bands were my main source of income, I've also been in the engineer's seat quite a bit throughout that time. So I find this sort of mentality troubling for a few different reasons. Firstly, it's not just the singer's vocals that are being corrected in these cases. There is a lot of work being done to ensure the drum hits are in perfect time, the bass and guitars receive similar treatment; mixing and post-production improve the sound quality of all the instruments. EQ and compression is applied to tighten up the tone, increase volume and so on.
The singer, in many cases, is actually receiving less treatment than some of the instruments. I've spent hours in my studio adjusting guitar tones, re-amping to create different voicings and to give the performance more depth by using impulse responses and plugins to get the sound I desired. In the end, the original guitar track has, at the very least, been doubled (I've been known to use 4 tracks for one guitar in some cases). The original tone is vastly different than what ends up going to master -- the Marshall JCM 2000 and 1960 cab that was used to record the guitar is now accompanied by tracks using a Mesa Triple Rec combo, an Orange Rockerverb, and a Diezel VH4/V412F head/cab combo.
Please do not develop an erroneous opinion based on what the vocal minority is telling you to think is good or bad. If you take issue with autotune, take it from someone who works in a studio every day (my office is literally my home studio), you've got much more stuff to be up in arms about. The vocals are the least of your worries.
Silverjerk I was giving examples with vocals. I completely understand that more tracks are added and the instruments are audotuned as well. That being said, I don't like it much when professionals use audotune either. However, they tend to blend it better, and it is less noticeable.
For many songs now that use way too much autotune (like Ke$ha) I completely dislike.
I hold many people who do covers to higher standards because in many cases they don't use audotune. Sadly when they do it is very apparent and distracting for me, as for many famous musicians.
I will say this with no intention of disrespect to you… It is great that you have experiences with this industry. However, you don't need to be a five star chef to decide if a meal is terrible.
Abby Buchanan I'm not a fan of Autotune as a vocal device either, so I wholeheartedly agree with you there.
And I apologize if my bringing up my personal experience with music gave you the impression that I was attempting to marginalize your point, or invalidate your opinion; that was most definitely not the case. I didn't mean to imply that you should be an engineer (a chef in your analogy) to understand whether you like something or not; my intention was really to point out that tuning vocals is sometimes the least amount of work we might do in the DAW when compared to the often more complicated process of mixing and mastering the instruments and the track in general. It is not normal that this is understood, and when folks get up and arms about autotuned vocals, they are often doing so without knowing how much work was done on everything else on that track -- often leading to what appears to those in the know as a very hypocritical complaint to make.
It's difficult for guys like myself to discern whether or not you are one of the many bandwagoners who crap on autotune because it is an often popular stance to take -- and it is often a stance taken in ignorance -- or someone who has different, perhaps more legitimate reasons for formulating that opinion. If you are the latter, no offense is intended and I apologize for the assumption. And although I think you misunderstood my intentions, kudos on the great analogy -- it is a valid, well thought rebuttal.
You seem like a smart, reasonably opinionated young lady. Let's end it here on an amicable note, and leave it at I was wrong in my assumption, and that I hope you give the band another listen -- they do a great job live as well. :D

PrimeTimeCyN yeah he sounds like a girl when he's in his upper register. I actually liked that though cause you never hear girls scream pop punk. I dug it all around but agree with Prime time because it seems as though they were going for a cover that is very close to the studio recording and the high pitched voice is of great contrast to the studio recording.
