I've been a Statlers fan since way back when and when Jimmy stepped into the place Lew had to vacate...well, I still loved my Statlers. However, it wasn't until Jimmy went solo that I fully appreciated his talent. I knew he was good, but I didn't realize he was great as a singer.

Always loved the Statler Brothers but Jimmy made them special because nobody has as pretty voice as Jimmy. Enjoyed talking to him while eating out in my hometown. I graduated with his older brother. So glad he is so successful he deserves it.

I like to hear Jimmy sing but away from the stage he isn't very friendly at all in fact he's a jerk! No need for that. A much bigger star is Tim Mcgraw who will always say hello to you in the street.
I'm not sure if you met the same Jimmy we know and LOVE. As someone who's worked and interfaced with over 20 years of country stars on this show and Country's Family Reunion, there isn't someone more humble, kind, sweet and nicer than Jimmy Fortune. He's at the top.
I've never heard a bad word about Jimmy before. He's so well liked & admired, people say he's very kind & humble. May be he felt bad or had something really bothering him, we all have bad days.
Recently we went to one of his shows 6/7/23, Blue Gate Performing Arts Theater in Shipshawana Indiana. His band stayed after show to spend as much time as needed to sign autographs and be with his fans. He’s awesome……..
