Boy, do I ever miss the days when Gene and Moe were both playing in San Antonio. I couldn’t tell you how many pairs of boots I wore out at both the Farmer’s Daughter and The Golden Stallion. Two of the best dancehalls that so many country stars played in. Both venues are long gone from the San Antonio music scene, but for many of us who spent Wednesdays through Saturday nights out dancing, their memories will live on, at least as long as we do. Looking forward to seeing Gene in Orange Grove Texas at The Post in March, on Texas Independence Day.
