Allosaurus is definitely one iconic dino. What it lacks in brute strength, durability and bite force, it makes up for in agility, powerful clawed forelimbs and extra sharp teeth. Its prey would suffer a slower, more painful death. Honestly, I'd prefer being quickly crushed by a T-rex! The Carcharodontosaurs took Allo's body size and flesh-tearing jaws to a bigger scale in the Early to Mid Cretacous, while the Megaraptorans occupied Allo's niche in the Late Cretacous, but with larger, stronger arms and longer, sharper claws. I would love for you to cover some Pelycosaurs, or mammal-like reptiles, the earliest and basalmost synapsids. These include Dimetrodon, Edaphosaurus, Secdontoaurus, Cotylorhynchus, Eothyris, Ianthasaurus, and Ophiacodon. I know most people say Synapsids are not reptiles, but since Reptile is a cladistic term, I like to apply it to all amniotes that are not Birds, mammals, or any of their transitional ancestors. It's just like how most don't label all us tetrapods as fish.
With all the allosaurus in ur vids i swore u had made one alr. I would like a vid of uintotherium, dimorphodon and megaraptor. Also alosaurus prob couldnt jump. They prob didnt hunt in packs either but i wont nick ya on that.
