Common Gray Moth Anavitrinella pampinaria

Common Gray Moth is found throughout North America, from Mexico to most of the continent except the Arctic. The larvae are polyphagous, meaning they eat a wide variety of leaves, grasses, and forbs from deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs. Adults are on the wing from April to October, and breeding occurs continuously throughout the growing season.
