today we will be reviewing the #TitanHunter. This slingshot has to be the best shooter I have had the privilege to shoot to date. It is made by Chris Graffin from the RUclips channel Catapult Carnage. As far as I am concerned he hit this one out of the park. Check out Chris in the links below.

My goodness man you have a problem. Lol one day I want to get one from RCC and John Jeffries. They will be expencive but top quality.
Got mine today and i love it! Mine did come with a set of bands though I think they all do now. Its a GZK green .62 22/12 band set I believe. I am using sumeike .6 20/15 at the moment though with 8mm steel. Mine also didn't come with any washers I think he has changed them up a bit.
Ya he likes gzk green. I like them too. I will be testing them soon with a chrony and see how many shots I can get with a set of bands with different pouch attachments. Should be fun. I have to say that titan hunter is something special. What an excellent slingshot.
My favourite frame and being from the UK you will never have to worry about that glare 😂

That would have been terrible if I didn't find it. Some days nothing goes right. Thankfully it is rare that this much goes wrong while filming.

Awesome review and nice shooting man, just getting in this hobby, really thinking about buying one of these hunters.. For smaller size hands with wide palms, medium size should be fine?!
That may feel good in your hand but the fork width you choose really depends on your anchor point. How many mm wide is your best shooting frame?

@@ATOMark Still waiting on a bunch of stuff from HTH. Regular mail is so slow.......Getting a bit better but not at your level yet. Going to order some Precise bands and another template. Loving this hobby! Favorite target = Clay poker chips chips as they explode like lighters only cheaper! I guess that's why trap shooters like clay pigeons! Still very much enjoying your vids!!!!!
Hey thanks man. I want to do some more shooting videos now that these reviews are done. Reviews get a lot of views but aren't fun to video. I like video where I can get out shoot some fun shots and hike around cook some food and have fun. I need to get back to that.

I have a band template coming still from dankung but man it is taking forever. I will never order from there again. Typical run around with my tracking # I got 3 different sets of tracking information from them.......
I cant wait to try out the HTH bone pouches. I have shot the warrior Apache pouches but I find them big. I'm not sure I like them for 8mm steel. I should try them on 9.5mm
@@ATOMark Mmmmm, interesting. I really like my Warrior pouches although I also find them a bit big for 8mm. My style of shooting just doesn't work for GZK pit locating pouches. Also looking forward to HTH dogbone pouches. I hear good things about them. I shot GZK green .62 and .65 but now really liking orange GZK .54 on a 18/23mm taper. MORE than enough for 8mm ammo. Everyone shoots different!!!!! Enjoying the journey.
you can cover it by a little bit of carbon fiber on that side. just a thought. good shooting.

That is not seen very often.
Thanks brother! All my card cuts have been with 8mm steel. I have 1 complete cut, 1 that went 90% and this one that was a fail. But I am happy to be able to hit it 3 times. I am sure If I hit the center of the card it would have cut. Practice makes perfect😉🎯

I have some band tying tape I bought from snipersling and covered the reflective section and solved the problem. Hockey tape works well too.

Hello Mark how are you doing? I wanted your opinion I was just shooting my Evo black Knight .....now they say to put the tip on the target but if you think about it the ball isn't going where the tip is because it's following the center line so wouldn't make sense to aim in the middle of the fork tip.?
Well if you shoot with the forks pointing up I cant give you an answer on that as I have no experience with that. Except when you shoot there is a natural arc like an arrow shot from a bow. What you use as your referance point on the fork will depend on your anchor point and fork width. I anchor with my thumb nail on my cheek bone beside my nose. With a 90mm fork width the ball "hits" where I put the fork tip if i shoot my evo 95mm or my ftc 85mm I have to adjust up or down the fork. You really need to shoot some paper and experiment to see how dialed in you are to your frame set up. Hope this helps

Both are great slingshots but the Titan hunter is my favorite slingshot I own and shoot best. For me titan hunter all day

Need to try 9.5mm steel for card cuts cos 8mm hasn't usually got enough momentum to do the job! Ps i like the look of the titan but was expecting it to be made of titanium not recycled cola cans!
Lol I think it is made from high quality aluminum. It feels really sturdy. There is no bend or flex in it at all. Man it shoots like a dream
How much was it with shipping/customs to Canada?
I used to love shooting a Flipkung Maxim Champ. This looks like a better version.

The international price is 70£ shipping included. Just google the conversion to CAD. I think it was around $120.....I cant really remember. I didnt have to pay any customs. .

je ne peux vraiment pas dire ce qui est mieux. cela dépend vraiment de la largeur de fourche que vous preferez. Je préfère le titan uniquement parce que la largeur de la fourche est plus adaptée à mon point d'ancrage. si l'evo avait une largeur de fourche comprise entre 85 et 90 mm, je ne sais pas ce que je voudrais mieux. les deux sont d'excellents slingshots.

Yup they are flat on top but the corner is rounded off a little from polishing. Are you on instagram? I'll send you some pic's close up so you can see.

Hello Mark...it's Nathan here in Italy...hope your well.,may I ask you a question..I have a few fork hits on my hpde slingshot..do you know how to get them out., don't know if this has ever happened to you with HDPE material...thanks . Nathan.
Oh man I really don't know. I would probably just try to file out the raised edged of the dimp left by the hit. That would reduce the size of the damage but there may be another way. This would be a great question for the slingshot forum.

My favorite is the Titan hunter but I am an ott shooter. The next would be the titanium sideways then the smoant. The smoant shoots excellent but I find it hard to hold on to.
@@ATOMark I'm OTT but that SS4 is becoming my accuracy go too. Funny the mirror polish tips was an issue. I thought that right away when you started showing it in the video.
It is actually the first time I had that issue most of the time I shoot after 3pm when the sun isnt directly over head. Plus the weather has been overcast for the most part. I was shocked how much of a distraction it was. A little hockey tape and problem solved.
We dont have that glare issue here in the uk lol
I had been shooting that frame for a month and that was the first time I had that issue. I was wishing for the sun to arrive in spring when it was overcast and 10° now it is 40°c and I'm getting a glare on my fork........its like the end of the world. Lol

Hello mark I want to ask you where you buy good bands for hunting I search on Amazon and i don't know if Amazon's bands are good if you can give me an advise because I can't find good bands
I dont buy my bands from places like ali express or Amazon. I try to buy directly from slingshot people. Like catty shack, snipersling, wasp, GZK, simpleshot, slingshot place and slingshooter. Places like these you will get great quality products.

I have never tried them but I will say this. If they are irregular shapes they will be fine for short range but longer shots may be inconsistent. But who cares if it works for you keep doing it.

Yup aluminum and I think I prefer it to the titanium frames I own. The aluminum frame is much lighter than similar frames made from titanium that I own.

How long did it take you to get it
I have been shooting seriously since the beginning of February but I had shot a slingshot when I was a kid chucking rocks and acorns. I got my first flat band slingshot 1 year ago. It was my first video. I shot it 3 or 4 times until the cheap bands broke and I put it away. Then I picked up my scout LT and my hammer pro ttf and now I am hooked

I have a medium size hand , what size would I need.? I am a guy medium 😉
Well that depends. When I bought this slingshot and the smoant the fork gap was smaller than any slingshot I have used and had to change my anchor point because the titan hunter does not have a sight and the u sight on the smoant didnt work for me. So a moving reference point was not possible. But for me having a large hand and my son having a small hand the medium seems like a good option. The small would have been too small for me but the large would have been good like the medium. What other frames do you shoot?

I have a scout LT and had an ocularis but gave it to my brother..... it wasn't for me. The scout LT is great and I still shoot it often. I would like to try the scout some day. It has a cult like following.......must be good.

I just got the ocularis last week and made my first banned set today. Out of 10 shot I hit about 7 out of 10 cans at 10 meters but I can't wait until I can get 10 out of ten everytime. Would you recommend anywhere to get theraband gold?

@@eagleeyeviewimages I have never shot theraband gold before but I saw a 10m roll for $46on amazon.ca and almost bought it. If I was going to suggest a a slingshot to someone starting out I would suggest the scout LT. It is smaller than the scout, reasonably priced, it can be shot in ott and ttf to experiment and see your preferences. Ya the scout LT would be my recommendation.
