I enjoy the longer-term projects, but I think I like the little fixes the most. So satisfying. Your home is lovely. Filling the gaps at the bottom of your baseboards makes a huge difference and looks so clean and tidy. ❤
Photos taken out of the huge clunky albums and put into photo box! Thanks to you my closet is down at least 1/3 if not 1/2 thank you still, using your to do list now and not deleted the checked off ones so i can change my view that I’m not doing anything! TY for helping!
Listeria is a batería found in yogurt, raw meat and poultry. It can caused diarrhea, confusions, and seizures. It’s important for you to have a list of things to do before you have any episodes? I guess that your immune system gets weaken by the listeria symptoms and it’s why making a to do list is important for you. I wish my parents have known about writing a to do list and tough to me when I was under their supervision. But, they form pattern of doing things in order . Thank God for them. And thank you Mrs. Benita for your good reminders.🙏
Another very enjoyable video! ❤ Love lists! I’m 67 and I remember making my lists at 14. It always helps me clarify my thoughts and get stuff done. My storage unit in our apartment building is almost the same size. You did a great job organizing yours!
Benita, I just love all your DIY handy fixings around the home, as a single female, I hate to rely on others or spend way too much money to get a professional for fixing something small. Hope to see more, thank you so much.
@@jessiemacleod6100 Good for you! I have tools too, love tools. Just need to educate myself on how to fix the things I don’t know how, and then work on it! We can do this! 💪
In the past five years, I’ve learned that I really enjoy doing home renovations. I’ve learned how to use many tools and solve different challenges. Never thought I would do it but last week I actually fixed our toilet.😅 hardest part was getting down on the floor and back up, 73 years young and still learning
Same sentiment! It gives a tangible feeling of physically crossing items off, rather than using phone, (for me, anyway). Seeing others accomplish their to-do lists is satisfying...I always enjoy your videos! Thank you for sharing😀
Ah, you think like I do, although I find lists overwhelming. A trick I have used to remove paint from metal pieces is to have a cheap pot I can boil the pieces in. It doesn’t always work but does often enough to be useful. I love that you chose an old building and respect its value.
As I organised my kitchen plates and saucepan cupboards today downsizing from 15 plates and bowls etc to 4 and just to my instant pot, air fryer and casserole pot. I knew I had to thank you for your inspiration I am a single person and I had all these plates, bowls and saucepans mostly because they were given to me. My new organised cupboards are wonderful thank you 🙏 🎉
I love that even your storage space is neat and tidy. I really need this "neat and tidy" and "less clutter" idea in my life as I struggle with my belongings. At the same time as a teacher I keep numerous thing that might come in use any day now.... any day, or not at all but for some reason I keep them. I love your clean spaces, basic calming colours. Since I cannot keep my space in order I enjoy watching yours, thank you.
I am also a list maker, and get great satisfaction from crossing things off. I live in a small apartment with a very small storage space that doubles as my main (only) clothes closet. I love the minimalist esthetic of your space.
Funny I was watching a few of your videos as I have a day off and the first thing I did this morning was : a to-do list !!! So satisfying to get things done and be able to write it somewhere. At the end of the day you can see what you actually did and that feels good !
Dear Benita, thank you for this video. When I'm feeling overwhelmed, I remember your videos and your way of handling things, and that gives me inspiration AND motivation. Thank you, and please take care!))
I always have a list or two. Not just to do and shopping. I keep a list of the books that I have read. I keep a list of my expenditure and the food I eat plus a few others. I feel that my life is ordered and not out of control. Long live and prosper to all list makers.
Haven't lived without a To Do List since high school, I can't even imagine my life without one ! I'm a hand writer and to me that and crossing out To Do's is incredibly satisfying ...... I also keep a journal and an agenda 🙄. Benita, what you did between your baseboards and floor made sooo much difference ! Your house is looking beautiful ❣
I get overwhelmed from the things i need to do, and don't even get close to a "to do list" I envy all of you that do. And l try to live through it with peace 😊
I too am a list maker. I love the satisfaction I receive when getting things done. I feel if I keep it my head It boogles my mind. . A check means its been done to my satisfaction. Great Video Benita!
A food shopping list is always a must for me. Otherwise it's so easy to run amuck! Household issues are another list. Right on my refrigerator. Yep, still there. Nothing checked off but I do read it! An expenditure list is next for me, or at least savings receipts. It keeps me in check financially and gives me a good idea of where my money goes. Good video!
I don't know if I could function without lists. I am almost 70, and have used lists since I could write. I have recycled bill envelopes for lists forever. They are the perfect size. I have tried to use my phone for lists, but find that I have done it the other way for so long, that it is just easier for "me", to write it done. Besides I personally get more satisfaction crossing off the list. I find that life is slowing down for me as the lists have changed from what I need to get done to what I want to do. The power of life changes. Love, love, love your vlogs❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing. Already a fan... but still enjoy putting pen to paper. Several years ago I started a notebook specifically for my lists. Looking back over what I have already accomplished always encourages me to begin the next 'to do.'
Hi Benita, i have so much enjoyed watching you tick off things on your To Do List. I have never been a list maker but since leaving work i feel I need some sort of discipline back into my life - your video is so timely👏so a list it is!!! A serious light bulb moment 💡The number of things that are now(since watching you and your list) on my phone are unreal - it'll take me years - yikes!😂. My husband is an avid list maker for his Work. Every Sunday the Diary is out and his week is mapped out - I previously suggested using his phone but that was a no no!. "It must be a book in hand"😂. I don't think l will ever change that . Have a great week🙋♀
It’s so extremely satisfying to check things off a to-do list! I used to use the Notes app too but I’ve been using the Things 3 app for a few years now and it’s the absolute best to-do app I’ve ever come across - I love the simple, clean, and minimal aesthetic and you can move to-do’s around to different days, keep track of recurring to-do’s, organize to-do’s by area + projects (Ex: You can make an area for each room of the house and then have different projects that you want to get done in each room along with the to-do’s for that project), label to-do’s that you can do “Anytime” or get to “Someday”, and then you can reflect on everything in the “Logbook”. There’s more you can do but these are some of my favorite features 😇
@@BenitaLarsson Oh wow thanks so much for the reply Benita!! Yes I immediately thought of recommending it to you since I know you would love it plus it’s perfect for Apple users since it syncs instantly between iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch - I only had to pay one fee per platform but then that’s it which is way better than subscription model to-do apps that require recurring monthly/yearly payments that I’ve tried so def check it out! ☺️
I love that notion of adding fun things to your to do list. I am so used only adding things that I have to get done or that must be done or things that I have to take or do etc... I will make sure I am adding fun things to my list from now. Thank you for sharing. I love what you have done to the place! It looks great.
I’m also a believer of the to do list. Very satisfying to see you got a to-do list too. To-do lists are my savior. I have made them since I learned to write. I've got garden to-do lists, work to-do lists, school, family, animal, etc. Especially my house has a to-do list, curse of an old house, finish one, see another part crash. Some are going to take years, and that is no problem. Reading all comments, it seems we are not alone, Benita 😉
I love lists too and will sometimes make a Done list if I need extra motivation. May I ask about the curtain hardware? Where are the track and holders from? I’m looking for something similar. Thank you for all your videos - they are wonderful.
I, too, have always been a list maker. My co-worker suggested I might have a problem when she referred to my stack of post- it notes as my "quarter-pounder". I thoroughly enjoyed your last apartment and location. Benita, I can see the changes to your new home in a short time and the always helpful DYI tips.. Interesting info, too, about settling your mother's estate and property laws in Sweden. Thank you for each lovely video and all the best to you and those you love.
Oh ....I love lists....and I sometimes make a list with other list ... while. Sounds silly ....I get satisfaction of ticking them off...I do try to ordering each room. Knowing when the list is done ...the room I done ..😊. Why do we keep hold of things...just in case .... And it's been there three years and not moved ...so this time it's definitely being shown the door ...either to family members. a neighbour...friends or charity shops...after a day or two you realized why you hadn't done it earlier... X Thank you for sharing...I am loving your new apartment...and it's wonderful home... I could live there for sure ... 😊
I wanted to say thank you. I love your videos and though our homes are very different, your meticulous approach helps me look at my renovations from another angle which is all to the good. Every now and again you have the perfect solution for me, ( for example I now have your dish cloth rail in my sink - which my partner unexpectedly loves ) and today the perfect idea to stop doors and windows blowing open, I didn't know such things existed, hurrah!
Sometimes making the list just feels like an extra task that’s keeping me from actually doing the thing, but I totally co-sign listing the things you’ve accomplished, especially if they’ve been bugging you for a while - even by noting them on a calendar after you’ve done it. Satisfying to flip through at the end of the year and go, "Oh wow, look at everything I did and took care of."
Slow but steady wins the race. Taking time to investigate which methods, materials & the visual impact of the end results shows how much you respect the age & original appeal of your abode. That extra care is definitely the reason I enjoy your home DIYs after years of following. I still use your vinegar-in-bag trick for my tap & shower heads. Lists are my life saver! I'd be running around like a headless chicken otherwise, lol. I've been dreading getting back into healthier drinks, especially the "green" taste. But I need to, and hearing you say "it doesn't taste green" piqued my interest.
I love list. I have one for everything. Some are on my phone, because everything needs to be remembered exactly, or it's a long list, like a before a trip list. I put all the items I need, what needs to be done before leaving, everything. It frees my mind and reduces stress. For some other things, the list starts on the phone & becomes a mental list. At the beginning of spring, I started a much needed decluttering project. My thought was to end it before picnic season (aka good weather, I've got places to be, not home). The list started on my phone to plan at least the first phase & to push to actually start. Then once the train started, it became a mental list: this weekend I need to do this, then that, then next week it will be..., step by step goals easy to remember. It is so satisfying to check a done task that I even add things I've done just to check them, lol
I love your style and find you to be an inspiration in my life and in my minimalist journey. As well as my unexpected cancer diagnosis and recovery. Thank you for everything I wish you well.
I love lists! I have always used lists, some written and some in my phone. This keeps me organized and have peace of mind. Love your storage room reorganization, looks great and easy to find items now!
Hello Benita! 😄 I have been making lists since high school - I have that exact same feeling (very accomplished after crossing off my list). I do still use pen and paper, I have a cute little notebook (that I refill) - I get excited thinking about my lists (sounds silly). This helps me very organized and productive - I do write down everything that I need to do in a day! I also have a monthly date organizer (a size that I fit into my bag - helps me keep all of my appointments organized) I like to write down what was discussed with my doctor, if I need to check back sometimes. I do add the 'fun stuff' on my list as well - thank you Benita, enjoy your week! ❤🌸💮🌸
Benita, so many satisfying chores done. I loved to see you filling and painting the floor gap where Bonus gets fed and the broom hangers it looks so much tidier. Thanks for sharing all of these. Cheers
Your videos are always so lovely to watch, Benita. I’m now getting back into the swing of things with keeping a to-do list in my journal, and it’s helping me so much more than just trying to wing it in my daily life. I tried to do bullet journaling and to use planners, but I always got too caught up with deadlines and time that nothing would get done. It feels so much better to just build your own system from scratch. It’s been a while since I’ve been on RUclips, but I hope you have made a full recovery from your health diagnosis from a while back. Keeping you in my prayers. ❤
Great video, I too am a list person, I like the completion of a chore and the satisfaction of a check mark. A list is helpful when shopping, especially for home improvement projects. You always pass on great tips, so thank you very much!
Thank you. Yes, I do have to-do list. Notes app in my phone. But I love your other tips. Using boxes to store things to be used in the future. Cleaning sisal rug. Area to hang brooms. Cleaning taps w vinegar.

There is something special to me about writing my list on pen and paper. Even though I have them written down digitally I will still rewrite them physically by hand.
I love a list! Currently writing one for my son of things to get done before he goes to university in the autumn. I start most days with a little list of everything I need to get done and live ticking them off. The peg board looks so good
Lists are very useful🙌 Your apartment looks beautiful with your changes and ideas! Thank you Benita! I don’t find comfortable the station of food-water for Bonus under the ladder😻
I moved into a new apt a week ago. Most of my boxes are unpacked except for some books and a ton of papers I really must go through. I am also a lifelong list maker. I still like to write things out on a notebook….I know I can use my phone or IPad, but writing things out helps me focus. There’s something so satisfying when I cross out completed tasks. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing!
Your voice and laugh in this video are just wonderful🥰
Aww, thank you so much!
I’m so happy you find useful ideas here!
I do think keeping a list on the phone is much simpler than doing it on paper🤓
Slow but steady wins the race. Taking time to investigate which methods, materials & the visual impact of the end results shows how much you respect the age & original appeal of your abode. That extra care is definitely the reason I enjoy your home DIYs after years of following.
I still use your vinegar-in-bag trick for my tap & shower heads. Lists are my life saver! I'd be running around like a headless chicken otherwise, lol.
I've been dreading getting back into healthier drinks, especially the "green" taste. But I need to, and hearing you say "it doesn't taste green" piqued my interest.
That would make two headless chickens😅
Thank you so much for sharing!
You are a true inspiration! You are a Wonderwoman!
Wow, thank you! I’m nothing of the sort but will give anything a go😅
The window holders work great so Bonus can get fresh air.crazy how much better the wood grain on the peg holder looks on the bottom.
They’ve been so great now that we have warmer weather!
Yay for the vinegar & tooth cleaning brush on the shower head! Thank you!
I love your style and find you to be an inspiration in my life and in my minimalist journey. As well as my unexpected cancer diagnosis and recovery. Thank you for everything I wish you well.
Thank you! Best wishes and speedy recovery!
I love lists! I have always used lists, some written and some in my phone. This keeps me organized and have peace of mind. Love your storage room reorganization, looks great and easy to find items now!
Thank you, it’s so much better in there now!
You are a ⭐️ list maker!
Good ideas, we have so many responsibilities and things to remember it is best to log it all👍
I do lists all the time!!!!hi dear Benita from Sicily, let me know if you are planning to visit Taormina,i'd love so much to meet you
List makers unite! And Grazie mille!
Benita, so many satisfying chores done. I loved to see you filling and painting the floor gap where Bonus gets fed and the broom hangers it looks so much tidier.
Thanks for sharing all of these.
Cheers
Thank you so much for watching!
Tidying up the entryway was on my to-do list; I listened to your video as I did it. Thanks for the company!🥰
I love that!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love your chanel so much ❤thank you 😊.
So nice of you, thank you!
Filler is much better than 1/4 round, simpler and cleaner. Love that you have a disco ball!
I love my 🪩😅
I am a list person so i bought a small pretty notebook to make lists. I enjoy crossing off each as i complete them.
Crossing off is just👌🏻
I also make lists. I have to say that your neighbors are blessed to have you.
I think they enjoy the improvements 😊
Your videos are always so lovely to watch, Benita. I’m now getting back into the swing of things with keeping a to-do list in my journal, and it’s helping me so much more than just trying to wing it in my daily life. I tried to do bullet journaling and to use planners, but I always got too caught up with deadlines and time that nothing would get done. It feels so much better to just build your own system from scratch.
It’s been a while since I’ve been on RUclips, but I hope you have made a full recovery from your health diagnosis from a while back. Keeping you in my prayers. ❤
Glad you enjoy the videos!
Great video, I too am a list person, I like the completion of a chore and the satisfaction of a check mark. A list is helpful when shopping, especially for home improvement projects. You always pass on great tips, so thank you very much!
Oh yeah, a shopping list is essential!
Benita you are simply amazing 👊
Thank you. Yes, I do have to-do list. Notes app in my phone.
But I love your other tips. Using boxes to store things to be used in the future. Cleaning sisal rug. Area to hang brooms. Cleaning taps w vinegar.
Glad you enjoyed!
I think “check” is one of the best words you can say.
It is, isn’t it!
Älskar din lägenhet och allt du gör med den! 😊 Allt blir så himla fint och cleant. Inspiration! 🙏🙂
Tack, vad gulligt sagt!😊

Hi Benita 😃! Oh yes I’m a list girl !! I’m still using my pen and paper...... just love scoring them out when completed 🗒👌! Painting my closet is still on my list however the gardens ( only small ) but taking my time at the moment 🙈☺️! Happy days ! Another lovely watch ! Thanks Benita 💐🌸💐Love from the uk 🇬🇧
That’s the idea I think, taking your time. As long as it’s written down you’ll get to it eventually!
pls make more videos with the remaining items on your to-do list.. so satisfying to watch! hello from Brazil 🇧🇷
Thanks for the suggestion!
I use my bullet journal for my lists. I discovered bullet journaling about a year ago and love it!
My son did it for a while but gave up on it I think. I’ve never tried😬
I am a totally a TO DO LIST junkie, too🤣; I use both - paper/phone versions, and both work for me in the same manner as for you - encouragement, satisfaction, and friendly reminder😃.
Thanks for sharing, Benita!
Thank you so much for watching!
I love rabbits and love your bunny in the window! Great job on your to do list 😊
Thank you, feels so good to check things off!
12:47 an easy and quick way of removing white spots etc is to use blue toilet cleaner. it removes these stains easily and quickly.
Dear Benita! Thx for your great video! You are amazing with your skills🥰I am also a great list maker….it helps me to keep my structure and it also gives me a great relief when I completed the task! I don’t use check marks, I erase it from my list….also a method…I am excited regarding your summer house project! Looking forward to it! Have a nice week! Cheers from Iris
That IS also a method!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@BenitaLarsson 😌
Much better organisation of your storage space.
There is something special to me about writing my list on pen and paper. Even though I have them written down digitally I will still rewrite them physically by hand.
I do love the feel of a handwritten one too but digital is more practical for me. Mind you, I write my grocery list on paper😅
I’ve really just discovered you Benita. I love your videos. Thank you.
Would not be with out my lists to do satisfying to tick done. I agree it’s the little things like removing the paint off the key lock looks fab now. 🌸
It’s those little things🙌🏻
This was really helpful- & you got so much done ! So satisfying especially when you don’t have to wait for a handyman 😅❤
Waiting is not on my list 😅
I agree with you your molding looks so beautiful!I don't like the quarter round either! Your DIY videos are so inspiring! Love your new home!
Thanks so much! 😊
I love a list! Currently writing one for my son of things to get done before he goes to university in the autumn. I start most days with a little list of everything I need to get done and live ticking them off. The peg board looks so good
Ooh, big things happening!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You're such an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much!
I love a good list. I recently moved into a new place and it's astonishing how many things there are to do to get it all set up to suit.
The list after moving tends to be looooong😅
It’s these sorts of details are what makes a place took more polished and minimalist. I hate cords and gaps.
Yes, it’s all in the details!
Your new home is looking really nice. Hope you are happy there Benita, and keeping well.
I am, thank you!😊
Just a immense merci
Thank you once again for the motivation to get moving!😄
Lists are very useful🙌
Your apartment looks beautiful with your changes and ideas! Thank you Benita!
I don’t find comfortable the station of food-water for Bonus under the ladder😻
It’s totally safe so don’t worry.
Congratulations on the move! Exciting times for you!
so sweet Benita :) i love your videos
♥️
Thank you so much!
Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you so much for watching!
I have been a to-do lister for years and yeah I use an app for notes on my phone too! So satisfying, makes me energized & uplifts my mood and mental/emotional well-being like anything! This video spoke to me!!!
I totally agree!
I'm a big fan of to-do lists, I make a new one every week, and I love it!😅
Yay for to-do’s!
To me there is nothing as satisfying as writing a To Do list with a nice sharp pencil! And feels so good to cross it off!
I used to like that too but my paper got so full of tasks after a move and that’s when I went digital😅
You are so handy, a huge respect ❤ I am living alone with my senior dogs and do not have your skills for preparing everything. However it needs a right attitude and tools 😉
You can do it! I didn’t start out knowing these skills 😅
