- WAVERLY is back with the Animal Cracker, sadly this time with a problem: he could not lower his head to graze. Dr. Doug was contacted about this serious issue, and rushed over as soon as he could to work with WAVERLY in this very special chiropractic session!
Waverly is a resident at AMARYLLIS EQUINE RESCUE www.amaryllisfa... 🐴

I love when the horses figure out that he just did something that gives them relief/feels good! The look on their face is "ok, ok, that was weird but now my neck feels really good! I didn't even know it was bothering me that much! Woe this guy is cool, how'd he do that!"
I think he was in love with the Doc by the end!
😂😂😂
Whoa
"I didn't know it was bothering me that much" On what basis do you believe that? Animals have feelings just like humans do and they definitely feel the pain..
I love the way Waverly kept following you after he was adjusted . It was like he was thanking you.He was cute when he was snuggling up to you. What a sweet horse.
Waverly is such a doll. A testament to this woman's good kind care I'm sure. ❤
This one almost made me cry with happiness for the relief that you gave this horse. YOU are something special and you have such an affinity for animals.
Awww so kind of you R Car, I simply love animals and my job.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I know you do. It's evident. Keep on, doctor, change as many lives as you can for the better.
Did bring tears to my eyes, wonderful. Am learning about horses too and the people who love them and help them.
I see people making snide comments but when Waverly was done with his adjustment the way he trotted off to his friend in the pasture said it all. He was happy and he felt better. Priceless. Waverly seems to be a very smart horse and is a good communicator. He was a pleasure to watch - what a treat he is indeed.
There's literally no "snide comments"
where you making that post just in case or what ? I don't see any at all.
When I wrote this comment there were rude comment. If there are not any at this point my guess is that they were removed.
Anyways,,, there was a snippet of video at the very end, that the owner took off Waverly GRAZING again, so, the adjustment and massage worked! 👌 Waverly definitely got some relief. What a sweetheart the good Doctor is, along with the owner. They are Angels to these beautiful animals. I love watching these videos..
The world needs more people like you. Respect for the animals. Truly wanting to help them.
Awww thank you!!
You really are amazing with animals. Truly ❤
Animals during chiropractic adjustments are so funny, like "Oh, a new human. That's a weird way to pet me, I wonder what he- WHAT IS HAPPENING! Oh that felt good."
Absolutely! That‘s so awesome thanks for sharing MrLandShark
😂🎉
I'm glad to see that they feel better after an adjustment. You can tell they do. They look at you with a shocked look on their face like, that felt good!
You said it.
What a wonderful personality in Waverly! You could really see that he was taking in that last round to the fullest and him thanking you at the end. He was truly grateful. Thank you for the wonderful work that you do.
You are welcome Chris. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Christine for what you do saving those horses from slaughter you are an amazing soul. So good to see Waverly with Dr Doug you can see he really trusts you, keep up the great work.
Thank you so much Lindsay!
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Thank you!!!I'm hooked on your videos now! I should be working. Watching you work with 'Keeper' poor thing, thank goodness he's in a rescue now.
You can see how she just adores him!!!!!!!!! God bless her heart for helping these innocent souls 🥰
Waverly is such an affectionate horse . What a wonderful lady Christine is to have such love and compassion for them all at the centre. It must have been quite difficult to adjust him , never seen you do loosening like that before , so interesting. He certainly must have felt better after that ! Hope you did too after your cold ?!
Thank you so much for your insight and nice words Elaine, so grateful for your support.
Totally agree Elaine, people like Dr. Doug and Christine give me faith in humanity!
OMG! Where do you practice? I’m in MT & needed you 2 summers ago because my healthy strong 26 yr old TWH was injured by another mare & could only walk to the right & in circles & only could stand @ a 45 degree angle!!! She had to be put down because of constant injuries from falling. She was an incredibly strong “fighter” to her very end! I wish I had known about you before it came to that!!! 😭😭😭😭😭💔

Love it. Love the horse becoming aware of the helpfulness.
Christine and Waverly have such a special relationship. Such love ❤
The love and respect they have for this animal is so honest and clear.
Thanks Christine and Doug for caring so much!
The relief Waverley got was a pleasure to watch. So lovely to see him at the end.
Good to see everyone live tonight :)
Yes good relief, I was so glad! I like when everyone is coming at the premiere and new ones too, nice chat. Thanks Vaga.
@@SparkTruth1123 Horse couldn’t bend head to graze - grazing at the end of video…
Waverly is such a good patient boy. He's so cute, he's over 20 but he's still playful like a foal. 💕😊💕 I love the end when he can graze again 😊💕
Just to see these beautiful creatures happy again makes the hard work worth it! Much love Dr. Doug!!
That’s definitely true. Thank you for your insight. I appreciate it.
I appreciate how you share your knowledge for each patient that is being treated.
There's should be more doctors like you in this world. The animals you've helped will forever remember you. I'm pretty sure they love you as well.
"...I don't believe in any pain..."
As a pain sufferer, just hearing her say that is profoundly healing. I am so happy for all beings with such healers.
I’m not familiar with horses, and never had one, but I love them! They are so smart, and do seem to form great bonds with humans they trust, and know there is a loving care vibe going on!
No creature on earth smells as good as a horse🥰Waverly is adorable!
The relationship she has with that horse is beautiful!
Dr. Doug-we love you bro. Thanks for your service.
Wow amazing! Thanks for sending your love Q.
I loved seeing Waverly’s look of relief and gratitude at the end. What an awesome moment for both of you.
It takes a lot of strength to do what Doug did for him. Much respect
we can literally see in his eyes when it was right on the spot , nice session ,good gentle boy
🙏🏻👍🏼
That was so amazing! He knew exactly what you were trying to do. He worked with you.
What amazing people. And Waverly is just such a sweetheart and obviously appreciated having the help. You guys are AMAZING people.
The amount of knowledge it takes to be a practitioner for animals is truly incredible. More so than one who only works on human patients .They only have to learn one anatomical structure compared to the many different ones animal ones. I have so much admiration for you Dr. Willen. Without your skill and knowledge being put to use for them, so many of these wonderful animals would be suffering unnecessarily. You have a very special energetic gift as well that is often times missing in the medical field. And I personally feel is just as important as the learned knowledge , especially in the Chiropractic field. Thank you SO MUCH for what you do!! I know from personal experience( had at rotated pelvis that basically was crippling me) the relief good chiropractic care brings. Your truly a Godsend .
Wow! What a nice gentle compassionate thoughtful comment! 💯 thanks Hippie, so grateful for your support.
Saved from the slaughter house…..that is an awesome lady, took him in. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
👍🏼🙏🏻☺️
Waverly is one-hundred shades of brown - so unique. Thank you Christine for saving this handsome and friendly horse.
Good job, Dr. Willen. I hope you have someone to give you an adjustment when needed. You got a work out today.
Thank you very much Robin for the kind words. Yes I have someone. Have a nice day.
Thank you for running this wonderful Equine Rescue! 💓 And thank you as well Dr. Doug for helping these beautiful creatures. 💓 And thank you Waverly for simply being Waverly! 💓🐴💓
Waverly definitely felt much better ,you could see it in his face & body movement, well done Doc.So much respect for the lady who looks after all these horses, she's a lovely lady.❤❤
You could see that he was getting relief and he was very appreciative for it.
Loved it, when you hit the sweet spot his lip was swinging about in joy and relief.
I am honestly amazed at how versatile Dr. Doug its. The ability to work on different groups of animals with different anatomies is just astonishing. The amount of knowledge this guy has of different anatomy structures, and to able to effectively work on these lovely creatures, is even more extraordinary. Props Dr. Doug! Keep up the good work!
Well said! Yeah Dr. Doug🎊
Hey, Doc! Both you and Waverley got a great workout! It was so wonderful to see Waverley peacefully grazing at the end! Christine was VERY appreciative that you rushed to help her dear Waverley, too!! It's tough to fathom that he was headed to the slaughter house before Christine stepped in to save him! A huge "THANK YOU!!" to Christine and Doctor Doug!! A GREAT video, Doc!! Hope you had a wonderful Father's Day!!
Thank you for all your kind words and insight Vickie, I appreciate it.
I truly loved seeing the look on his face when you were adjusting his sore neck it was pure bliss ❤ What great work you do sir!!

That was exhausting to watch. What a work out great job!!!!! Well done Dr Doug
What a funny fuzzy boy! That jiggle jiggle really helped. I'm so glad Waverly was relaxed and grazing again. I look forward to more work on this sweet old guy.
jiggle, jiggle :) 👍🏼I hope to go back and work again with him. Thank you for watching and sharing.

This horse KNEW you were there to help him. To see the trust bond between animal and human is wonderful. He literally looked like he had som much relief after you worked on him.
That horse had SO MUCH personality wow! What a beautiful soul! That was so intense & the gift you have to become one with an animal is nothing, but amazing! 👏 I'm a firm believer you have something that sets you above the others in animal care.
Wow! Just amazing ! Thank you so much for the great support, I really try my best to help animals in pain. So grateful Ginger!
Dr. Doug
What a good boy! such a character and a sweet nature! Doc, you worked hard for every inch! I am certain all your "patients" appreciate you!

that bottom lip reminded me of when i go get a massage
All I can say is, I'm next! Wow. My neck feels better just from watching. These great beasts do so much for us. Thank you for helping them to feel, and function better.
I love watching you work with the horses. They look happy afterward.
The second I saw this horse I thought tic damage. I myself have always needed my cranials adjusted post Lyme. Love the moment that Wavery got his pride back. Your work heals us all.
Yes, the horse seemed so relaxed, when you were working on him!! And when you were shaking his head and working his neck, it just seemed like you were doing him a world of good! It was relaxing for me also!
You really got in the zone there doc and became one with the horse!
Very impressive and no surprise, the immediate relief you gave him... so what else is new?!
😉😉👍👏👏👏
Nice to see you today Shawn, he need to be stretched more than to be cracked!
They were both working so hard together so solve the issue. Great teamwork!
I agree! he did really a good work with me and he let me do mine! not always obvious! thank you so much for sharing. I like your comment. 🙏🏻
Thank looked like a hard workout for Dr. Doug. Horses are so big and strong. Thanks for making sweet Waverley feel so great!
Dammit! When was the last time my doctor listened as well to my story! Hat's off to you, man.
Dr Willen, I’m so happy that you went to help Waverly as soon as you’ve heard from Christine about his neck problem, she’s a very lovely and caring lady. It’s always great 👍to listen to you Dr Doug, your explanations are always on the point 👌, I’m glad that you could help him. Happy Father’s Day doc, I’m sure that your kids are proud to have you as their dad, have a nice 👍Sunday.
wow thank you Emma, sometimes it’s important to give more explainations. I loved working with Waverly at Christine‘s place. She is a great woman who does a lot for horses and other animals.
Great video ! Waverly is a beautiful horse. He was smiling through the entire adjustment. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do. Thanks for the great information you provided. I'm sure a lot of people who have horses loved all this information you provided for them.
Putting your hat on Waverly at the end of his session: PRICELESS! 😂 You are doing God's work Sir for helping our animal friends. 🙂🙌🤝
if it's god's work why dose he have to do it?
What a wonderful horse!! So responsive and gentle. Waverly stay well beautiful boy! 💗💗💗💗
Christine is just wonderful in telling the stories of these lovely animals! Fantastic to see you work on this delightful horse- gorgeous Waverley!

Give him all the treats he wants!🥰🥰🥰
What a lovely horse! Watching his reaction when you were helping him was priceless. Truly enjoyed , thanks to Dr. Doug xo
The horse was definitely saying Thank You in the end
Great neck work at the end. Waverly must have felt very limber after that. Will catch up on the beginning of the video. Nice to connect with the community in the premiere.
Glad you could watch this one, Waverly is one of my favorite horse work. Thanks for connecting Jeff. Have a nice Monday.
Such a gorgeous boy...I love you, Waverly 🧡 Christine & Dr Doug.. you're wonderful people 🌟😃
Awww so nice of you Littlebird.
Waverly is a beautiful gentle horse. He held still for most of the physical therapy he was getting. I believe he knew he was being helped. He so gently took the treats out of the veterinarians hand. I loved the way Waverley ran off, and he looked indeed so free, it was a pleasure to watch this beautiful horse. I hope things get still better for him ! Now at least he can get his head down and happely grase with the other horses !
That was amazing!! What he did made him feel so much better! Great therapy! Super video!!!❤
That was truly awesome watching how good that was making Waverly feel. Seeing him able to craze again, very cool.
He's so thankful. What a loving horse. You are best buds from now on, Dr. Doug ✌️💞🙏
The poor babies; thankyou for helping them!
I try my best always…for all animals and humans. Thank you so much.
😂 watching him root around on the horses shoulder actually relaxed mine. 💕
Wow, I swear I saw the change in his expression to pure happiness. That was amazing ;)
I loved seeing him get his adjustment and then to be able to graze again. I'm glad these horses have such an amazing home now and they get the best of care. So glad Waverly was able to get adjusted along with the other animals that day.
Thanks Wendy!
You can tell just how much she loves that horse. And it’s so cute to see.
Gawd. If I had my time again, this is what I would do. I'm so glad you decided to set this channel up. You've absolutely eclipsed the totality of the animal chiropractic content that was on RUclips before you showed up.
And hopefully inspired many people to help animals as well!
I watched you on the shorts on a recommendation and watched it. I needed to see the longer version. You are like the animal whisperer. This horse seemed to just completely trust you. So relaxed even though in pain. This was awesome to watch. I wish you could do the same for my creaking old body. 🤪
what a great gift to have , to make horses lives better
Such a sweet and beautiful horse 🐎 ❤️YOU really got a workout with this adjustment Doc !Bravo for a wonderful video!Ty for taking such good care of our HORSE friends ❤️
Loved seeing him grazing at the very end! Another success story for a happy boy. 👍😊
Thanks Pat.
Dr. Doug, what a heartwarming ministry you have and what a blessing you are. What you do is SO straining and exhausting. I hope you are able to take the time to replenish and rejuvenate. God bless you and thank you for sharing your sessions.
I hope everyone is doing well and had a good father's day! Or a good day to those that don't do that. I love watching all the chatting.
Thanks B. Glad you had a good Father’s Day, me too btw, and thankful for the watching and chatting at the premiere.
What a beautiful horse and Christine is amazing! You are doing God's work helping these beautiful animals ❣️😍
Beautiful nice calm horse, great owner, a pleasure to work with. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome. Waverly went a little loopy for a minute!! 🐎 😜
Yes but he was very receptive to the adjustments, he felt better afterwards. Thank you for sharing.
That’s the most affection horse I’ve seen in my life
Me too! Thanks for sharing Rosey.
Guy does good work. Props to him and blessings as well
Thanks Daylon. I appreciate the support.
He's such a beautiful boy. I love this guy. One can see and hear instant relief. ❤❤❤❤❤
It was great seeing the clip of Waverly grazing again. I wonder if he was a Showhorse in his previous life. When I think about the Tennessee walking horses being put through doing the Big Lick I wonder how any of them come out of it without being totally trashed.
Thank you Dr. Doug for taking such time with a very special horse.
The big lick is a disgusting training method for the benefit of humans and the mistreatment of the horse.
Makes me sick to see it now.
I was so thinking the same thing! Big Lick should be outlawed! The almost serene look on Waverly was absolutely priceless!
That is one cool horse. Can’t believe how chill he is
Aww the horse knows that Dr. Doug is there to help.
Omg I just fell in love with Waverly
Dearest Doc, You're helping all these animals and relieving serious pain and impediments. You don't charge...how are you surviving? Yeah, I know, celebrity status and all, but would like to see your good works well into the future. God continue to bless you and increase the work of your hands. Take good care. Sending love & best wishes from an old farmer's granddaughter!
This horse has so much personality I love him so much! Bless him, hope he’s all good 🙏🏼❤️
What a beautiful boy with a huge heart ❤️ lovely caring lady and amazing work as always from Dr Doug
Dr. Doug's skills are God sent. I'm so please to see the animals return back to their normal everyday activities. 👍
My off the track thoroughbred had an atlas joint out of alignment from racing. A very skilled chiropractor was able to adjust it for him, and the immediate difference was dramatic. He lowered his head straight to the ground and gave a huge sigh of relief.
That chiropractic adjustment is wonderful to hear about
Waverly in so sweet. And Dr. Doug, you are so gentle with animals. It's so refreshing to watch how you treat them. Don't like so many being rough or teasing critters. We have had quite a few rescue cats over the years and it could take 3-5 years on some to gain their trust. And never would tease them as cats are dignified in general and don't like being teased or laughed at. As we both find them charming and funny, we would hide our outright laughter so their trust stays consistent.
What a DARLING horse! How he LOVED Dr. Doug's ministration 🧡
