I think that she's going to have a hard time trying to grow up in her fans eyes.
i read somewhere that she's really tall, which will make it harder. She's 16 now, so she should be making the jump soon. I think her older crowd won't put up with this cutesy babydoll act for much longer if at all

I’m proud of her. Right now little girls have no real role models to look up too. At least she is still pressing her career to be a positive role model. I’m glad she’s not 15 and dressing like she’s going to a club or like she’s 25/30.

I get why people sometimes find her irritating due to her loudness and in your face personality but I will never understand those who demand she stop wearing bright colors and bows. I'm 30 and love Disney. I buy Mickey ears like crazy. Getting older is mandatory growing up is optional. She isn't hurting anyone by being herself. She's still maturing in others ways like driving and having more say in her brand. She simply wears bows and bright colors while doing it.

I say she is actually just more grown up than the people who hate on her. Who ever said that once you become 6 years old or 8 years old you can't like dolls and bows anymore. It is simply what society thinks is normal whereas in reality you are allowed to dress which ever way you please and do whatever you want to do. she is actually way more mature than her haters. maturity doesn't come by what you wear or what you like, the fact that 20 something year olds or 30 something year olds are hating on a currently 17 year old girl living her best life and making children happy is honestly pathetic. and yes, I am aware that most hate comes from teenagers, and those teenagers are honestly just jealous, because not everybody can say 'I have built an empire at 17 years old' and definitely not everyone can say 'I have a net worth of over 12million dollars'. Her haters should definitely go out and find a job instead of sitting on their lazy butts at home hating on a girl who is more successful than they would ever be
Everybody sees JoJo as this girl who can't grow up but I see a true role model. She reminds everyone to believe in themselves and to never give up. I mean I am about JoJo's age and I still love sparkles. Nothing wrong with that. She spreads meaningful messages doing what she does. She's amazing!!

Why, when you’re 15, are you acting like you’re 8? She has no room to put others down for trying to grow up when she’s trying to regress.
That's like asking why the actors at Disney wear character costumes... Do they take the costumes off at the end of the day? Of course. She's a performer for little kids. It's part of her character to appeal to a young fanbase and be a good rolemodel.
And it’s part of most other people’s characters to want to grow up...and she’s judging them for it when, clearly, she’s the one with bigger issues.

People comment she needs to grow up but she is right before our eyes. Just because she isn't dressing like everyone else, still wears bows, loves bright colors and more she is growing up. This interview is proof. It is by far one of the most mature interviews we have seen of her. Also who cares if she is 30 and still wearing bows and bright colors. She is literally living her best life.

Im not trying to be offensive but when she said 15 year olds are trying to act 20 and that its weird, I can understand that but 15 is kinda the age when you have to start thinking about what you want to do with your life and need to start learning how to grow up. I've seen 15 year olds with jobs because they are starting to save money and learn how to organize their money in order to be able to afford things they want and things they need. 15 through 18 is the age where you start maturing. Also parents start to expect more out of you when you get older. I know I looked far to into this but I'm just saying this is my opinion I'm open to critique. She already has something to do with her life and she's become a millionaire out of it. She is already maturing. Wearing bows and glitter doesn't have anything to do with being mature. It's about having a good mindset and knowing what you want in life. Jojo may not be a children's entertainer forever, but at the moment that is what is getting her good money and recognition at such a young age. Maybe she will change her job and style one day, but doing these thing's won't make her anymore mature than she already is. Anyways, I respect your opinion but I thought I should put this out there

Maddie was wrongfully advised . She stocked to just dancing , instead of combining singing & dancing . All she is doing so far is acompaning famous singers . She's still young and can add singing to her career . JoJo was already showing how talented she is since she was in Dance Moms . Now , there is a sad side to JoJo's story . She is just a kid and is already a millionaire , which means that on Christmas , Birthdays , etc. ,etc . , are going to be very sad moments , because ...What kind of present can you give to a millionaire kid ? Kids that worked in past sitcoms had a very sad situation, because they were earning much , much more money than their whole family . I wish her the best , but something tells me that eventually some day she's going to wish she could go back to when she was some years ago ,. and be living a wonderful life , with real friends and without the pressure of being a celebrity .
