This song works perfectly for me and my sister. We're in our teens now and we both suffer from anxiety and depression. When we were younger we would fight about everything, but now we're actually pretty close, which makes me happy and sad when I think about it. We've kinda had to become close because of everything that we've gone through, from losing people to having to take care of our other siblings when our parents were falling apart. We've started growing even closer now because everyone around us seems to be getting better, but we're still broken. We started smoking weed together and just talking and it honestly helps a lot. I don't know, I just feel like we understand each other because we've actually been there for almost everything and every day I'm terrified that I'm gonna lose her. If that happened I don't know what I would do. My grandmother died almost 2 years ago and I just went numb, I barely ate, almost never slept, I probably wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for my mom and sister. Honestly I'm still not better I can't feel like I used to, I can't get excited or even really feel happy anymore. If anyone else I love died I don't think I could take it, I would just fall apart. My mom and dad got divorced shortly after I was born so I have to go back and forth between their houses and I've gotten to the point where I don't think it would even phase me if my dad died. He used to be a completely different person but my stepmom has slowly turned him into her slave basically, he does stuff that he never would have before and just does whatever she tells him. But I'm also terrified of myself. Sometimes my mind kind of goes blank and it's like I'm just watching myself go through my day. It sounds nice but it's not, it's terrifying because you have no idea what you're going to do. You just sit there knowing that at any point, the parts of your mind that you've hidden and shoved to the back could come out. Those parts of my mind are especially dark because I know that pain doesn't really do anything to me anymore, and I don't really have the ability to sympathize anymore. I don't really know how to describe it. You know how when you're watching a movie and there's a really cruel part, how it makes you uneasy and you want to look away? Yeah I don't have that, it just doesn't work anymore. I can't stand silence, because then I can here the voices in my head. I don't know, I just wish I could go ack to when I was ok and everything was good. Wow, that's longer than I realized. To anyone who read all of that, thank you for caring and I'm sorry for wasting your time.

My mom and dad got divorced shortly after I was born so I have to go back and forth between their houses and I've gotten to the point where I don't think it would even phase me if my dad died. He used to be a completely different person but my stepmom has slowly turned him into her slave basically, he does stuff that he never would have before and just does whatever she tells him. But I'm also terrified of myself. Sometimes my mind kind of goes blank and it's like I'm just watching myself go through my day. It sounds nice but it's not, it's terrifying because you have no idea what you're going to do. You just sit there knowing that at any point, the parts of your mind that you've hidden and shoved to the back could come out. Those parts of my mind are especially dark because I know that pain doesn't really do anything to me anymore, and I don't really have the ability to sympathize anymore. I don't really know how to describe it. You know how when you're watching a movie and there's a really cruel part, how it makes you uneasy and you want to look away? Yeah I don't have that, it just doesn't work anymore. I can't stand silence, because then I can here the voices in my head. I don't know, I just wish I could go ack to when I was ok and everything was good.
