Https encrypts data and with two way ssl through proxy, data will also be secured/encrypted. How then VPN will be different from data encryption point of view.

Anshul, many of your videos are really informative but in this video you are providing wrong info like you mentioned proxies just hide identity and not encrypt traffic which is wrong. the intial ex of country a & country b is not the right example. I work as System Architect and daily basis work on Proxy, VPN, Firewalls etc. Believer modern day cloud proxies like Zscaler Internet security do a lot more. In summary web proxy/secure web gateway is used to securely connect to the destinations on the internet by protecting source and traffic too. Whereas VPN is used to connect to companies private applications in DC or Public clouds, it's not ideally hosted over internet

I totally agree with you. I work as data centre Support lead in one of India's top IT company. The difference conveyed here between vpn and proxy is correct to some extent but not totally correct. In theory it seems correct, but at organizationol level, it is not total information.
