Buy yourself a good 12 volt compressor for your off road adventures. When you leave the pavement, lower your tire pressure down to about 12 PSI in each tire, you will have a much better ride and you will float across sand with no problems. Makes scaling rocks much easier as well.I'm 71 and off roaded the West from Az to Colorado to the Rubicon.
To think there's still paces so beautiful where those horses run free. A truly beautiful sight. Thank you all and may God watch over you wherever you go.
These vids are badass. I remember being a young kid and exploring abandoned places from time to time with my friends. This brings back some of the best memories, Thanks.
I did that a lot in my college years as I lived in a area with many abandoned places! I also was in a photography class so I would go out and photograph these places. Heck I think I was the only one in the class that was into this!
I dont ever think these videos will ever get old or boring. each one is so well put together the editing with the music and drone shots are out of this world. I love seeing and learning about the people and way of life before us
Always looking forward to more videos. I was born in what is now called a "LIVE GHOST TOWN", Superior, Wyoming. In 1970 I went exploring there. Found the house I lived in and numerous household items in all the coal mining housing. Was a great time. Lots of history there. Keep em comming.
Did you see the rat poking its head up? You can barely see it in the video, but he was there watching us LOL, I didn't see it until I watched the video. 🙂
I've basically just really started watching y'alls channel, I have to say that I'm impressed at the time & research you do on the places you go & the people you search for, I've been watching y'alls channel trying to watch as many as I can, lol. Needless to say I really enjoy the content y'all put out thank you for such an awesome job. Yes Emma has some of the prettiest hair I've seen , lol. Just had to say that, lol. Stay safe
Great start with the horses! Nice filming too! Your gonna get your own TV show if you keep going. Say "old" often, it can be your thing lol. Love the commentary. Yeah, that's exactly what i was thinking as you said it, "Omg! poor guy, he's stuck again!", but I can see you were listening in your comments sections to the advice and knew you needed more tools, an d what would be usable because your better prepared and more cautious. Probably won't stay stuck for long ever again. I watched someone unstuck us 2 times, and the next time I was stuck, I got myself out. (I was always getting stuck everywhere). You should be proud of yourself, and your wife, she never complains. I complain constantly when it's hot, lol, your daughter- it takes cooperation from everyone, it's one of the best presents a youngster give you. Very helpful. You make a great team...(tell them someone told you this, :))

I don't know how they made it. They ran into many situations that could have been disastrous. Many stories. Keep treckin. 😄😃
Cool video, I love finding out the history of old little cabins, trying to piece the story together as to who built it and why. Awesome, thank you for all your hard work as I know you go through a lot more than you show so once again Thank you xx
On Findagrave.com, I found an obituary for a Reed Johnson Horton (18 Aug 1909-30 Oct 1967 (aged 58); Goshen City Cemetery Goshen, Utah County, Utah, USA; married to a Mary Madeline Jeakins Horton in 1935. Photos and short bios are included. I wonder if these two are the people who might have lived there.

You go ahead and say OLD anytime you want! Your videos are completely mesmerizing! Thank you for showing us what you have to do to get to places, I hadn't thought about it. Thank you!
Well it is good that you didn't get stuck again, I was thinking oh no not again. Plus I can imagine the sheriffs saying " What the hell, do you have a death wish or something?" if you had to use your PBL again. At least you guys were able to get in and out without any troubles. Oh when you were breaking up the rocks to be able to drive over them, I would have swung the metal detector over it to see if you get any signals for gold nuggets or flakes or even taken samples home and pan it to see if there is any signs of gold. Also I take it you didn't find much or the ground was probably to trashy. I just love the view of the isolation and the history of the place. As always great video.
Thank you my friend, this time I took some extra gear just in case (tow strap, traction mats, etc), and I joined a new "off road" recovery road program. That's a good idea, I didn't even think about swinging the detector of those rocks, I will have to remember that next time for sure. I only hunted for about 10 minutes before I noticed the tailing pile and after climbing that mountain, I was near dead. I am so fricken out of shape! I did find an old band-aid container, but I left it where it was since it was BLM. I am only going to take gold (on non claimed BLM land), and modern money. Stupid federal laws make it too risky IMO to take anything else.
Such beautiful country you get to visit. Personally, I would love to live in an area such as this where I could go to appreciate the wonders of the open land, fly a drone without any hassle and enjoy the solitude and peace away from the crowds of people.
Dude, I appreciate the time and effort that goes into producing a video for us. Have you thought about asking Nissan to sponsor you in exchange for them to have access to videos of the truck going offroad
@@davidjimenez7556 your on a gird journey my brother they go to the most abandon places there old videos are much better because they go to the places, but it's ruff times and we have to work with each other but they are the best. 👌🏿👌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

What a beautiful day in Nevada. Its amazing that someone with self determination would build a small wooden cabin out it the middle of nowhere. As far as who was there, maybe you can find out thru a real estate agent or the nearest gov't administration. Nice music to fit the mood of this particular video.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! Did Whites send you that detector? I thought i saw an MXT or XLT in one of your older videos. Can't wait for the next adventure!
I have an older White TDI Pro that I love, so I asked White's if they would be interested in sending me some detector equipment to use in the videos, and they obliged. I am still learning how to use this machine, but it's a lot of fun. What I like even more is the pinpointer, something I have never used before, but never realized how much they help.
Explore With Us very helpful. i can't remember the model of the one they sent but I've used it once before. Nice and light compared to my CTX 3030 but a good machine.
It's so much fun to metal detect, my children can't get enough of it. I am very happy with the MX Sport so far, and I am no looking forward to metal detecting more than ever.
Beautiful horses at the beginning of the video and I am amazed at the effort you have to put in to get to some of these remote places. There was such a lot of stuff left in that cabin, it did look like they had intended to come back though and something prevented them from going back. I love it when people write some of the history of the place on the walls, especially when it dates that far back. Did you see the rat watching you? lol
Karen Johansen, I agree, I also love it when someone writes the history of the place on the wall. It brings it all to life. No, I didn't see the rat when I put the camera up, but I heard it moving around. I wasn't sure what kind of animal it was. 🙂
Explore With Us I could only see his head for a moment lol. The history of that place was really interesting. If you find out any more about it on line could you let me know? as I would love to hear about it.
I will definitely let you know if I find anything else out, I am curious to know if there are decedents who are unaware the cabin is there. Could you imagine finding out your great grandparents had a cabin like this somewhere and it was still standing. I think that would be pretty cool. 🙂👍👍
Explore With Us I agree with you, I wander if there is a way of trying to track down the descendants of the owners? It really would be cool. Hope to hear from you if you find anything else out.😊
I can never look at the Fallout games the same way after seeing these videos; every time I see vendors selling 200-year-old pre-war food, I'm just gonna be picturing these refrigerators laden with rodent droppings and green milk.
Your videos are fine... don't worry about being "repetitive"..... you're doing a fine job in narration. Trust me.......... you're coming off as a very interesting, anxious, exuberant explorer.
Huh, prescription electrolytes. Interesting. Well, guess it makes sense for someone living in a hot, dry wasteland. So trippy how all the liquid in aluminum beverage cans eventually diffuses and evaporates out despite not being opened.
Very nice untouched place ,nature take it back glad you returned to this place for a finale inspections before other come and destroys it. amazing wild horses.
Good to see the Nissan working that terrain. (I have an Xterra) ;-) I love to see those wild horses doing well out there. P.S. wanted to add: Even my fridg doesn't look that bad. Just sayin'.
I love my Armada, even without lockers it get's me to places few dare to attempt, but with some lockers, this thing would be unstoppable. The Xterra is a great SUV too. Does your Xterra have a locking diff? That's what I need, badly. 🙂
I have auto lockers. I mostly got this for snowboarding and skiing in the Lake Tahoe area. It's made a huge difference. My Xterra is 2002 supercharged version. I love it. It has just over 100,000 miles on it now. I would never getting rid of it.
Wild horses are so beautiful...carefree. I love watching them roam. The holes in the rocks were formed by water dripping on them. I wasnt able to see the whole rock formation above it, but its likely how the holes were formed. I am always amazed at how much stuff is left inside abandoned buildings. My mind goes into this mode where I imagine how people lived and how they survived away from society.
Thank you Lorraine, I love seeing the wild horses too. This group was especially docile, allowed us to stand only feet away and film them. You're probably right about the holes, looks like that would cause that. 🙂
Awesome video! Really like your style!! And thank you so much for taking the time and I notice you are risking a lot to get these video out and also thank you for wearing gloves!!!
WOW! What you do for us to make a video! I greatly appreciate it! Your one of my favorites! Those buildings are not in bad shape! Weather worn, critter tore up, but not bad!
I will if he doesn't cease the stalking. Since making that video, he seems to have backed off. I will expose his identity if he continues, and I think he realizes that, or I hope he does.
This is most definitely a grow op. The pipes are for vermiculite or pearlite growing substrate, and the holes are for the plant stems. The stems all over the place are clearly the remaining plant material after harvest. The "medication" is most likely the bulk chemical ingredients for plant food.
i just love all your videos. i have always wanted to do what you do, but now with age, i simply watch you. thank you for giving me the chance to simply explore , safely from my home.
I really enjoy all your video's! Love all the place you and your family go and see. My hubby and I love this kind of thing as well. Thanks for your time and video's.
Marie Kane, It usually takes many hours to find these places, but I love looking for them. I usually start out with public land maps or google earth. When I find a great place, I then use mylandmatters.org to verify land status. If that checks out, I will use the county assessors office to verify land status as a cross reference. Then, when I am out in the field, I use a GPS chip to verify location is public land. Of course, many times I find cool places like this on my way to another place I have mapped out. 🙂
I love your video's, we always hear about the rich and famous, the politicians, the world news but so much goes on you never hear about. People working and living in out of the way places, things going on you'd wouldn't ordinarily know about. People living their lives out of the spotlight in places you'd never see....Things like this your video's help me remember...Yeah, I'm an old guy.

Thanks bro, and I agree, it would be interested to find some history of the place. I didn't find anything worth showing on this hunt.
I love videos where people just explore and I like how u don't take anything and don't mess anything up keep up the good work
Good to see the Nissan working that terrain.
I would never getting rid of it.
awesome video man ! I really enjoyed it !
Love you guys from Canada BC ! Wish I could explore with you
Another great video, thanks for taking us along.
The white pipe with the holes are mining claim markers.. Broken dreams of riches and treasure..
WOW! What you do for us to make a video! I greatly appreciate it! Your one of my favorites! Those buildings are not in bad shape! Weather worn, critter tore up, but not bad!
You guys need one of those Razor n things. Off road vehicle. . You guys make me so nervous. lol
Couldn't help noticing the door has such beautiful colouring & markings in the wood.
Will you be making a video in regards to your stalker? Do they follow you out there and spy on you etc...?
I will if he doesn't cease the stalking. Since making that video, he seems to have backed off. I will expose his identity if he continues, and I think he realizes that, or I hope he does.
Thanks for the reply. Good luck!
This is most definitely a grow op. The pipes are for vermiculite or pearlite growing substrate, and the holes are for the plant stems. The stems all over the place are clearly the remaining plant material after harvest. The "medication" is most likely the bulk chemical ingredients for plant food.
You need a enduro motorcycle to squeeze into small places
Agreed. 🙂
Explore With Us you're local moto shop

Where on earth did they get the electricity from for all those fridges?
That's a good question, not a power line in sight. Must have used a generator.
I want to know what all that PVC drain pipe was doing there. He never made note of that. That isn't THAT old, maybe 70's.
And the was a lot of it.
@@ExploreWithUs Where they propane powered refrig's ?
ian gourlay generator
Or propane I’d say propane
I really enjoy all your video's! Love all the place you and your family go and see. My hubby and I love this kind of thing as well. Thanks for your time and video's.
Abandoned miners cabin.
Great video! Glad you made it up there safely this time. Can't wait for more to come :D Thank you for all your hard work!
how do u find the places that you go to?
Marie Kane,
It usually takes many hours to find these places, but I love looking for them. 🙂
That sounds like a lot. I look forward to your new videos!
Marie Kane Thank you. :-)
Very Cool. Keep em coming
You need a off road truck...not a city slicker pretender....go bowtie and your shovel is good 4 collecting dust!!

Glad you went back, thank you!
Thank you Janet, I had to make up for getting stuck.
You deserve so many more subscribers. You're by far my favorite explorer, your videos are the best and not to sound weird but you have a very soothing voice 😊💕👍🏼 keep up the good work
