  • I bought this Lego compatible set from yourwobb.com (no affiliate) because I liked the color and the build seemed interesting. In this video I'd like to show the build process and my thoughts on the set. The design doesn't seem to be stolen from Rebickable.com so kudos to TGL for their own design.

It has lots of nice mechanics but the wide body is throwing me off. Also the part quality and colour looks off
How much was it and do you think it was worth it.
The video was very good and well edited you are under rated and deserve more views

Thanks for the comment. The wide body is indeed a bit weird looking, but I must say it's better looking in person than on the pictures. I paid 110 euro for the set, static version (no electronics) and it took 3 weeks to arrive. The set can easily compete with the Lego 1:8 cars, so for 1/3rd the price (or 1/2 the price when you get a great deal on Lego) I would say it is worth it. The part quality is actually pretty good from a fit perspective, it's just not as shiny as Lego, with the added bonus of no sprue marks on the technic liftarms. You can also get the set in silver (also metallic), but here the same issue is that you cannot get any parts that match the color, so modification of the set is nearly impossible. So you must like the set as-is and not plan to use it for building MOCs.

Does it look OK without the fender pieces?

Eh, no. The wheels stick out too much without the fenders. You can check the video around the 16:15 mark, the fenders have not yet been added.
