Fabulous video! This is information I was looking for. It gets confusing with all the Chanel offerings. Thanks for taking the time to explain each product. It is appreciated.
I love all your videos, they’re my favourite thing to watch after a stressful day at work. I bought the Chanel CC cream, Soleil Tan du Chanel and the illuminator all on your recommendations 💕💕💕 please keep the Chanel content coming 😍💕
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Michael Pollack by name from Key west, Florida...If I may ask where are you from?
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Michael Pollack by name from Key west, Florida...If I may ask where are you from?
Thank you for your great videos. You are so knowledgeable and I get to learn a lot from you. It helps so much to choose just the right product and you make that so easy ! Thanks so much !
You are so right about the loose powder. I just purchased my 3rd one, been using it a few years. I have tried La Mer, La prairie, Rimmel, Smashbox, Too faced, Urban Decay, Nyx, KatVon D... I even just tried the new Jeffree Star powder because I know he loves the Chanel loose powder- it’s fun to try new makeup but none perform like the Chanel. It sets my face and locks in my makeup all day. I very rarely have to touch up. I just bought the original les beiges but I haven’t really had to use it because the loose powder works so well 😂❤️ Great video!
Yes. I love these informative CHANEL videos. I usually see your videos before I go to the CHANEL counter. I have tried only primer & foundation. I plan to buy more now.
I use the loose powder almost every day as setting powder all over the face. It’s hard to find a powder that doesn’t look chalky, white or grey and you could probably apply a ton of it and its still invisible. For touch ups I use the normal les beiges powder.
You help to explain the healthy glow sheer powder I have. I thought it was crappy, because I cannot get the product by using brush, puff, finger and anything else. I may have to try a different way to use it.
Your channel is fast becoming one of my favourites. I’m definitely a powder lover as it reminds me of my very classy grandma and as such I always carry a compact 🙂. Could you please tell us some of your favourite make up tools? Maybe like most loved foundation brush, or must have blush brush? Xx
Thanks for taking the time to outline the different types of powders. I'm so much more informed now with my choices and feel like I'll get a better fit than just letting the sales associate choose one she thinks is best for me. :)
Omg I don’t know! It must be the foundation?! I used a highlighter but man... maybe the lights? Lol I don’t know how I applied so much powder and still had so much shine 🤦🏼♀️😂
My first Chanel powder was (well still is, I think it’ll last me a lifetime:))) Poudre Universelle Compacte, which is a compact version of their translucent powder. It really is universal & multipurpose & I could do with just that, but I got a loose powder after hearing so many good things about it, I know you love it, & I also think it’s great & very natural looking. E.g. my Dior loose powder I don’t really like, it’s just not really good for my skin type, but I tried it on other people & I noticed it did great on oily skin. I couldn’t eventually resist & did get the recent Les Beiges LE compact, but after this review of yours I think I should have gone with a luminous Les Beiges, especially for the summer 😆 oh well:)) Thank you, great review as always😉🌸
Erin Nicole TV Oh NO?!!! I hope they keep the pressed translucent powder!! Is is SUCH a popular product, I cannot believe it!! Even people who are not into Chanel really use that particular compact.... That’s insane...🤦🏻♀️ They discontinued lip glosses in colors Caramel & Rose Naif in Europe, and I hear there’re no problems in the States & people keep buying them. I want my Rouge Allure lipstick in color 162 Pensive, but that one is no longer available either😥 the closest I have is a mini by Tom Ford in color Lisa (it’s like sandy beige with a bit of shimmer), but those are discontinued also😆 well... I cannot find anything similar...:((
Please record a video about LE TEINT ULTRA TENUE COMPACT POWDER FOUNDATION. How it holds up. About longevity, coverage & ect. I’m really interested in your opinion.
My favorite is the Les Beiges healthy glow compact power but I have been thinking about trying the loose powder. Thanks for sharing your thoughts of these amazing powders Erin. 🌺
Hi Erin, thank you for explaining the various Chanel powders - it was extremely helpful. I wear Chanel foundations (mostly in Beige 10) and, I was matched in last Fall to Les Beiges powder in Beige 10. I noticed this winter, against my paler skin, the shade was darkened my skintone enough to be noticable, so I switched to different brand. Could I benefit from using a different Chanel powder during the winter months when my skintone is more pale? (I also use Chanel Healthy Glow in Medium Deep as a bronzer and it's the perfect shade for me.) Thanks again for an informative video!
Hi Erin, Chanel Poudre Universelle Compact Powder is the compact version of the universelle loose powder. It is also good for touch-ups. But it doesn't give any coverage. It just refines the skin textures. I would like to try the compact powders you mentioned. Just have too many products and can hardly hit the pan.
It’s the same makeup as my last Chanel favorites video! I just did a brown eyeliner instead of teal and used the Dior stellar shine lipstick 352 instead of the nude Chanel! 😘💕
Hi Erin, did you get to try the reformulated loose powder? I hope you can make an update here since this is such a definitive Chanel powder video and I really appreciate your hard work always :)
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Michael Pollack by name from Key west, Florida...If I may ask where are you from?
Omg the universe is amazing I've been going back and forth about the loose setting powder I have all except the loose powder because I have dermablend professional loose setting powder and kat von d and they are ok with the help of chanel les beiges healthy glow sheer powder but gets cakey along the way and I hate cakey makeup so really appreciate this and since I've already went shopping lol I'll get it next week thanks for the info
Thank you for the review and essentially saving me $$ from spending it on wrong products. One question - what brand is your fluffy brush? Thanks again.
Thank you so much Erin, your videos are always so informative and helpful! There is also the Poudre Univeselle Compacte, which is the compact version of the Poudre Universelle Libre (available in the same shades (Clair/translucent 1; Naturel/translucent 2; Doré/translucent 3; plus two other shades Pêche and Limpide)... Is it available in the US? Have a lovely weekend♥︎
It used to be and I loved it! Sadly, they got rid of the pressed translucent a few years ago... that was my go-to powder and since it's gone I've moved to the loose powder instead :) xx
thank you so much, after reading the comments here about the poudre universelle compacte I rechecked and it is available on the German Chanel website! I am so happy, because I see Erin use the same powder (just the loose kind) all the time, I love her complexion, so I thought it would be the right powder, I was just hesistant to buy it, because I prefer compacts. Problem solved. Really excited to try it.
Dear Erin! I saw you also using the No. 10 in the Chanel poudre universelle libre.. Do you prefer the 20 or the 10?! Don't really remind the 10.. Thanks for helping me decide! Apropos, do you love the Le Lift serum and can suggest it?! Thanks so much for your help and honest opinion on this one. ❤
Oh Erin I’m so glad you did this video as I’ve being going back and forth which Chanel powder to try. My all time favourite powder was the Lancôme Absolue Radiant powder in Absolute Peche which has long been discontinued here in the UK. I really want to try the Chanel loose powder but need help regarding which shade to buy. For some reason we have a few more shades available, the 3 translucent liked you mentioned and then also 22 Rose Clair and 25 Peche Clair. I was wondering if you know or anyone in the comments has tried the Chanel 25 Peche Clair or could recommend anything else that would be on par to my beloved Lancôme lol! I know the finishes aren’t the same the Chanel being more matte but in terms of colour I was hoping they might be similar match. If anyone can help I would be so very grateful, Erin I love watching your videos always so informative but your voice is just so calming and soothing I could listen to you all day lots of love 😘 xxx
Thank you so much! I also own the Lancome Absolue Peche :) I love that powder so much, I'm sorry to hear it's discontinued :/ I'm not familiar with those powder shades but it's such a light powder you might not notice a huge difference on the skin. The peche clair sounds like the best bet! xx
I hope this year brings happiness and prosperity to all american and to the worldwide 🌍. I'm Michael Pollack by name from Key west, Florida...If I may ask where are you from?
Hi! What color foundation are you? I’m a 40 in vitalumiere aqua in the summer, 30 in the winter. For my le beige pressed powder I do go a shade lighter (20) but I am thinking of buying the “le teint” I was wondering if you recommend I use a shade lighter in that product or choose something closer to my actual foundation shade? Thanks so much!
hi erin .. asking for advised .. is it true that i can use chanel extreme matte pressed powder for excessive sweating of my face ? Thank you . by the way my face has pimples/acne..
💋 thank you for another great video! I can’t live without the Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder in 20 Clair. It is very finely milled & never oxidizes. I always have a back up of this product. I have used it for decades. I have tried them all & nothing compares. I do wish Chanel would come out with a new purse friendly compact. I have the Les Beige compact. For quick touch-ups, it would be convenient if it had a brush or puff that fit in the compact. My other gripe about the compact is that the powder gets an ugly film over the top of it. I have to scrape it off then I loose a lot of product. I am looking forward to trying the Le Teint Ultra black compact powder. I 💝 my Chanel loose powder & use it every day! I tap it into the lid & dip in with a fluffy brush. It’s a great value also because it lasts so long! ❣️
I agree with you! The powder does get a weird film on top... that’s from moisture since it’s such a finely milled powder. It’s great for touch ups though! I love the loose powder, best of the brand definitely! Xx
One of my shiseido and dior powders developed a hard, shiny layer on top as well after some time. I did some reading up and think it was oils from the skin. Just gently pressing a piece of adhesive strip onto it will peel that coat it off without loosing additional product. the only thing that helps prevent this is to wash the brushes more often I think.
Hi Erin! I love your Channel I always end up watching your Videos to find good recommendations on Chanel products. What shade do you use in the loose powder? I’m pretty fair skinned myself but I don’t want that translucent white cast over my face
Yes, so you could use a damp beauty blender or spritz a foundation brush before you apply and it will sheer out the powder for a lighter coverage with oil control :) xx
Hi. Erin I have the something as yours. First of all I live in the Philippines as you know the waether here is really hot And humina. But my Skin is is dry even my bodt. Most of the time I teej dry, bit Sei how sometimes a bf ollyly. Which one Can you recomend. Thank you.
Thank you for this! I recently started using the Chanel Hydra Camellia Water Cream. It makes me so dewey - what powder would you put overtop of an illuminating product like that?
Hi Jeni! If you struggle with oil and you find that you are too dewy, the teint powder foundation with a fluffy brush for lighter coverage would help, but if you just want a light powder to set either the loose or the original les beiges :) xx
So I have a question for all of you that have used the le beige classic powder. I bought mine, used it three days and I started seeing a "crust" on the top of the product. Like it was a dry patch. It got bigger in the point that I could not get any product out. I returned it to the store, they exchanged it and I go a new one. The new one started doing the exact same thing after barely 10 days of use. Channel will pick it up and check it in the lab, if it's their fault, I will get reimbursed, if not, I will just end up with a 52 euros powder that is unusable. Has anyone had that with this powder?
One of my shiseido and dior powders developed a hard, shiny layer on top as well after some time and it felt like going over it with the brush just polished it. I did some reading up and in my case many people stated that it could be due to oils from the skin that end up in your brush and are then spread over the compact. Just gently pressing a piece of adhesive strip onto the surface of the compact peeled that coat off in my case without loosing additional product. some people just use a paper tissue to remove it. the only thing that helps prevent this is to wash the brushes more often. I guess some products are more prone to this than others. I don't know if that contributed to your problem as well.
@@misssophie6515 the problem is, that even scrubbing a part of it didn't do much. It is like dry and patchy. When j scrubbed enough, some of the crust came out but with plenty of product. I don't even have oily skin and my brushes re always clean and dry! This is what surprises me, even when I had really oily skin other powders wouldn't end up like this. I am very disappointed with this product honestly. Thank you so much for answering anyways, guess we will see what channel tells me!
As always, I love watching your videos so much as everything is clear and well explained. What is your favourite of all 4 of these powders? Thank you. I love this particularly make up.
Hi very informative video. What about the Chanel mineral powder? You did not mention this product. I would like to hear your thoughts on this one. Thanks
@@ErinNicoleTV I mean products and Your video too .... can U sugest me witch one i should choose. I have oily skin in the T zone, and like to wear Chanel vitalumiere aqua 30 Beige?
When it comes to Chanel reviews, you’re the only one I trust 🥰

I agree and feel the same! Xx

Hello Yinde how are you doing today hope you're safe over there?
You're looking beautiful do you still a powder to look beautiful Yinde?? I don't think you're naturally beautiful you don't need that pretty😍

Your eye make up in the video is lovely, what did you use
Great informative video. I have never tried the Chanel powders, maybe when I finish what I have as they sound lovely.
Thank you Isabel! They are wonderful, definitely worth trying when you’re going to restock :) xx
Thanks for taking the time to outline the different types of powders. I'm so much more informed now with my choices and feel like I'll get a better fit than just letting the sales associate choose one she thinks is best for me. :)
I'm so glad you found it helpful Diana! xx
Hi there, they changed the Chanel translucent powder formula in 2019. Have you purchased the new formula and how do you like it?
Your face is glowing in this video - it looks so beautiful 💖 which product do you think is giving you the glow?
Omg I don’t know! It must be the foundation?! I used a highlighter but man... maybe the lights? Lol I don’t know how I applied so much powder and still had so much shine 🤦🏼♀️😂
I like your eyeshadow colors, can you tell which brand it is ? Thank you
This is very helpful thank you so muchgh❤
My first Chanel powder was (well still is, I think it’ll last me a lifetime:))) Poudre Universelle Compacte, which is a compact version of their translucent powder. I love the presses translucent powder! Unfortunately they discontinued it here in the states... so I’ve turned to the loose powder instead :) xx
Erin Nicole TV Oh NO?!!! I hope they keep the pressed translucent powder!! Is is SUCH a popular product, I cannot believe it!! Even people who are not into Chanel really use that particular compact.... That’s insane...🤦🏻♀️
They discontinued lip glosses in colors Caramel & Rose Naif in Europe, and I hear there’re no problems in the States & people keep buying them.
I want my Rouge Allure lipstick in color 162 Pensive, but that one is no longer available either😥 the closest I have is a mini by Tom Ford in color Lisa (it’s like sandy beige with a bit of shimmer), but those are discontinued also😆 well...
I cannot find anything similar...:((
I have CHANEL LE TEINT ULTRA TENUE & I adore this POWDER FOUNDATION so much!
It’s really the best powder foundation :) xx

Hi, I love the case of the limited edition les beige powder! Is it refillable?
Hi Erin, Chanel Poudre Universelle Compact Powder is the compact version of the universelle loose powder. It is also good for touch-ups. But it doesn't give any coverage. It just refines the skin textures. I would like to try the compact powders you mentioned. Just have too many products and can hardly hit the pan.
I love that powder! Unfortunately it was discontinued a few years ago in the US so I was forced to go with the loose powder instead:) xx
Erin, it is still available in Canada.☺
You are very informative . I own all these powders and my least fave is the teint
I can agree with you... it's the powder I use the least for sure! xx
Ohhh🤩🥰 pls do a Tutorial on this Look 😘

Oh Erin I’m so glad you did this video as I’ve being going back and forth which Chanel powder to try. My all time favourite powder was the Lancôme Absolue Radiant powder in Absolute Peche which has long been discontinued here in the UK.
I really want to try the Chanel loose powder but need help regarding which shade to buy. For some reason we have a few more shades available, the 3 translucent liked you mentioned and then also 22 Rose Clair and 25 Peche Clair.

Can you explain more on using the powder foundation in the “wet” way?
Yes, so you could use a damp beauty blender or spritz a foundation brush before you apply and it will sheer out the powder for a lighter coverage with oil control :) xx
Love your videos!!!

Thank you! I use the transparent 20 :)

@@katerinatzima2604 I'm so sorry to hear that, that truly doesn't sound good!
Ur just stunning.. flawless!!!
Chanel shade range seems to be mainly for pale white women with pink undertone. Now it’s slightly better but still looking heavily pink undertone.
