I saw Snowball for the first time six months ago and has since been overthrown in love. Viewed everyone I come in contact with these clips here in Sweden. Love to see this interview with you, Irena. To see your face when you talk about him. How your cheeks get a little red. You can really see that you love him for the individual he is. An amazing job lot of causes people doing to protect animals from cruel people and from having been abandoned. It warms the heart. Thank you!
he was certainly sent to the right woman - not to be exploited and his talents only used for good publicity NOT to keep birds in cages - I'm really thrilled you feel this way and hope your message is spread
I love his dance moves. He is so incredible and intelligent. It blows me away. He can always put a smile on my face. I love his wave or bowing move. That is so neat. I wish I could wake up to him everyday. I don't think I'd ever get in a bad mood then.

@XxMaNtiSaixX I never said that Snowball was the only bird capable of feeling the beat of music. I stated that he was the first scientifically proven animal to adjust his dancing to match the rhythm of the music. Everyone can see that there are many birds on You Tube and elsewhere that can dance rhythmically. And I'm sure your bird can dance wonderfully as well. Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only
@CakeNightmare Why do many humans sit in front of the TV and eat potato chips? Some of us like to run marathons, some like to dance, some sing....birds are just as diverse. Irena Schulz
he's showing unbelievable comprehension skills.....i know my tiel "dances", but not really to the beat that much. she does this little head bop and attempts to whistle a beat i taught her, and that's her dance for everything. this guy is actually thinking and adjusting hs moves in real time as the beat changes.....glad to see it's a cockatoo doing this. our birds are smarter than African Greys!
@tokreds2 We've been asked to go on every year. I don't feel that the show is the right venue for him. We wouldn't be able to talk about bird rescue...it would be strictly entertainment, not informative at all. Irena Schulz
@WickedxWraith Thank you so much for this comment! To go a bit further... Do not get any parrot without some experience of taking care of them. Volunteer at a bird rescue, foster one for a few months, or work at a pet shop that sells birds in order to get a good idea of how much work and responsibility they are. You will find that they each have their own personality. And don't ever "expect" anything from a bird. Let them do what they want...talk, dance, sing, or just be a bird. Irena
all my parrot does is sit n talk only dances like the one in the bak of the video.... snowball is so cute and amazing u sud do shows t raise money for animal rescue xxx:)
Snowball is hosting a dance-a-thon fundraiser for needy children. We are raising money to purchase clothes and toys for them for Christmas. Please go to the Bird Lovers Only Rescue blog for more details. SNOWBALL NEEDS SPONSORS! Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only

@kathicu109 LOL...usually only those who know the northwest Indiana region pick up on that little mistake. I'm like you...I had birds in the house since I was a baby and am now 51. I couldn't imagine a life without birds on my shoulder. :D
Lol I wish my Cockatiel "Minnie" could dance like that, instead of attempting to remove my fingers most of the time. Snowball beats the hell out of John Travolta. :D
My african grey also adjusts to the tempo of music. I'll have to get him dancing on video some time. He only has a standard birdie head bob so it isn't quite as flashy but snowball definitely isn't the only bird capable of feeling the beat as you claim in your interview. In fact considering my Linus is twice as old as your snowball (a previous video said he was 12) I could give you a run for your money about being the first to change tempo with the music as well.
I'm a bird lover too and still have an empty cage sitting like the bird never left(cept I cleaned it thoroughly) after my 8 year old budgie died tragically this year .. yeah I said this year 2010 but anyway.. my heart is mending and I would ilke another bird but it just feels bad knowing I couldn't do a damned thing for him(sudden massive heart attack) one second he was sitting in my hand not being gripped the next he was on his back gasping for air in his last moments of life.
I'm sorry i know that this don't have anything to do with snowball.... well I love that bird but I think he also appear in the Whisperer Dog or it was just another Cockatoo named snowball I don't remember the episode but I sweard that i saw a bird just like him in that program
