Maybe not considering how much they adapted stuff from other games including characters, but I do agree that they will take inspiration from FFV for Galuf and Krile. He was involved due to the nature of the letter.

Everyone calling the futuristic soldiers Allagans or Tron, when (having read the lore book), I immediately said "The Karellians?" I would accept the Karellians having survived the destruction of their "star" and have a faction that discovered the Source. It seems that, like the Omicrons and the Dragons, they also had the technology (ability, in the dragon's case) to travel the stars.
Is that the planet that got killed by nukes?

I was on board with Dawntrail like ok its coming.... but then I saw Valigarmanda (I've avoided content spoilers until now) and now I'm legit hype for DT to drop... FF6 was my favorite FF game ever so I love when they reuse those assets for content
