Hello kababayan!!! salamat for sharing all these awesome information!!! I have a 4 year old myer hybrid on a self water bucket that on the first and second season, it produced so much lemon, I had to thin out the fruits because it was producing so massively. But on the 3 season, it only produced 1 and on this year, I am worried that my lemon is dying because all its leaves are turning yellow. Is the tree waterlogged? I can see roots down the water line and I am worried that the roots are drowning... Should I lift the tree up and give it some root trimming? I don't want to stress it out, but it looks like it's suffering as it is... Thanks for the help!
i would take a look at yourleaves,, sounds like nutrient dificiency to me,, lake of iron Mg and a few others,, having trouble, grab a copy of my leaf trouble shooting book on amazon heres the link,, good book to keep handy if your into citrus www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2SM67MH
Hi Marcelina and Gregg, thank you so much for your very informative videos. I bought the ironite plus and used it in my orange (established tree) and in my lime (young recently planted) and it worked miracles. It yielded tones of foliage and tons of flowers and now baby oranges). I got a new lemon tree about couple of weeks ago I planted in in ground, it has several yellow leaves, I wonder if it’s a good time to fertilize it with the ironite plus without causing it to stress. I also identified that my lime has been attacked by spider mites, (I’m assuming because of your video descriptions) so I ordered Azateck plus and received it last week🎉 I sprayed the top and bottom of the leaves and put it on a weekly schedule. Would it be safe to use on the newly planted lemon tree? Thank you so much for all your advice! Claudia
so good to hear of your success,,, as for spraying your baby citrus tree with Azatek Plus, just make sure that you dont do it in the heat of the day, best to spray it in the late part of the day to avoid the suns light can wilt a baby plant or the new shoots. Azatek will also prevent fungal diseases on your citrus. Keep up the diligent work!
I lost all my leave due to heavy rains, they turned yellow and green, not fully yellow.Should I remove it from pot clean it and trim tangled roots. Then put it in fresh earth
i would check to make sure your plant has proper drainage too much water will cause this to happen as well as root rot, Make sure you have good drainage, that's where id start. You can remove the yellow leaves but make sure to leave some for photosynthesis.
Hi Mercelina how are you, I need your advice. I have a calamansi tree and it’s grown up from seed and it’s already 8 years old and until now it doesn’t bear flowers at all and there are so many thorn around the branches. What I gonna do to produce flowers? I need your expertise. Thanks
many questions to ask,, ground or pot? type of soil? fertilized? soil pH? hours of sunlight? this is a good start for you to answer before i can comment further Ari.. thanks for the comment, ill help you as i can .
