- Hi Guys,
After the carry on on the British Museum I decided to get myself down Knightsbridge in London where you have The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum and the focus of this video The Victoria and Albert Museum.
And what can I say even the management think they can make up rules and laws and try and enforce them on citizens conducting their private business. Not a good look @vamuseum
They go so far as to call the police, for what you may ask? Well I'm still trying to figure that one out.
Enjoy the video

You ask a question he laughs with a condescending attitude like he knows the law , which he doesn't
What a mess this country is in
I saw a man filming a gate
I didn’t want to say nothing incase he took a fence 😂
That creepy guy with the beard can’t tell you what to do in public, what a fool.
I was not aware that i was entitled to privacy in public someone better tell all the cctv camera's and the local authority.😂😅😂
The security guy came across as not a full shilling then along came the clueless manager who didn't have a clue what he was talking about
Passive aggressive security 😂
Rolf Harris's love child.
Architecture in London is interesting on the old buildings. They are full of secret society messages and symbols
You could be planning a Tourist Attack 📸
😁
That manager is right up himself, full of his own self importance,
What law is that? Yes. What law is that? Yes. What law is that? Yes. This guy doesn't seem to understand what is and is not a yes or no question.
Manager was a complete jerk. Why does the museum allow him to go out to the public footpath and treat people that way???
yes
I genuinely think he has learning difficulties
More teeth than brain cells
On the spectrum that lad was
👍👍Ahh... the smirking confidence of someone who thinks they and their position is morally superior. Ho hum.
I'm just wondering when he's going to close the museum to the public because they might be terrorists...
Yep, he's just told TLA that _"you could be planning a terrorist attack"_ yet walks off leaving him to his own devices, no alerts, no clearing out of the museum, not even a call to the police . . . just shows you what terrorism legislation has become, it's just a catch-all tool abused by people like this idiot, a way to threaten people, intimidate, stop photography or just move people on who you don't like.
It’s a symptom of those wanting power to enforce their feelings on others.
He seems to blink his eyes every time he lies....
he'll be no good at poker
Care in the community, bless him. 🤣
He still thinks he's in the USA where Grunts are just as clueless but have the added intimidation of a gun.
A lot of treasures have gone missing out the back door of british museums. You'd think they would be happy to have someone filming the back gate 😂
I laughed at that! I restore armour and I have just been talking about this to a client. 👍⚒️
What a creep, leave the public alone and get on with your museum!
He lives like a robot talks like one. He thinks he's better. He's no leader. He's a joke
“What law?”
“Yeah!”
“What law?”
“Yeah!”
Are you going to tell the man which law, or are you trying to write an homage to The Beatles?
I don't think Victoria and Albert Museum should be parading their 1930s authoritarian exhibits on the sidewalk . very unsettling display by the manager .
The amount of weirdos on this planet is scary
Please could I get a job as a security guard, because I’ve been told I’ve got SHIT FOR BRAINS!!!
No, you are over qualified
TLA, I’ve got a line for you:
Security: who are you? What are you doing?
TLA: I’m a public investigator !
Does 1st security know the law - yeah 🤣🤣
The manager donut didn't fare much better either - Is filming the building a crime - absolutely ! Get back inside and study your relics, they don't make you look stupid !! 🤤
If he's worried about security he should employ the right people for the job who know what they're doing .
How do these people get to management? It's one of the most beautiful buildings in London and must be filmed and photographed millions of times a year.
One of at least two London museums, which likes stealing artefacts from museums in Northern England...
Decisions which were made by entire boards consisting of people who are born, raised, educated and/or based in London.
Manager what a joke just look at his eyes it tells you all you need to know.
That first security guard was a star in "The Goon Show"
7:00 was thinking he definitely needs help tying his shoelaces in the morning 🚌
You have great patience as I would have told Mr blue coat two nice English words!!
And this is why TLA makes money from this and you don’t
@@MrSimonsonLifts Fortunately, I don't need the money. People should be left alone to legally take videos/photos from a public place. I do this all over the UK and rarely get harassed, so Mr blue coat is totally out of order.
@@BillyBoy46 yes I agree why are you making this point? 😂 I was making a completely different one.
@@MrSimonsonLifts 👍👍
Love the auditing gid to hear a Scottish accent 😁🏴
Well he thought he could bully you....fail. I feel sorry for the guy.
That guy was clearly intellectually short, TLA helped him along so much but he still struggled.
"I'm just giving you options" What was the options he was giving? An encounter with violent thugs? What a nice guy!
"It's none of my business" says the guy threatening presence of violent thugs.
"I"m trying to have a conversation, you're not listening" says the guy giving ultimatums backed by threat of violence.
If I was planning a T attack on the British Museum, one of the things i would not be doing is having a friendly chat with a member of staff for 10 minutes, explaining what am doing with a thick scottish accent. It's all about control and feelings. It's perfectly legal, jog on.
Or you could just join the 'stop oil' gang & just walk in & throw orange paint at anything you like with no consequence.
I do not wish to sound racist or discriminatory, I cannot believe that someone who is clearly not of UK origin can stand on British soil and tell us what the 'law' is. It's ridiculous. If they're going to stand on UK soil and spou the 'law', they should find out what it is first...
15:49 “can you see how this looks” - yes you are making you and the v&a look ridiculous
Why is an American guy a manager in our V&A museum? Surely we must have native GB people who can do the job 🤔
He's possibly Canadian.
Thats not an American or Canada accent id think Israelie
It's funny that in a country ruled by a king, so many people feel so special and privileged.
Muppets
Why on earth would the V&A get upset about cameras? Weird.
Swiss elitists running the shop. The manager thinks he's a superiour being.
To the "manager" when you arrive in someone elses country, please learn the laws and DO NOT threaten our oublic with your made up iand incorrect interpretations of them. In TLA's words, .... "jog on"
Invaders have to ritually humiliate the occupied and conquered by flexing their authority and lording it over them every chance they can get. This is why they have all positions of power.
Any time a foreigner tries to push his authority Auditors should reply by bringing up the Magna Carta, Habeaus Corpus, Bill of Rights & the two Parlimentary Acts that make up the core of our unwritten constitution & that protects our rights and freedoms as UK citizens.
And if they don't understand then they can jog off back to where they came from!
"What Law is that..?"
"Yes."
"What Law is that?"
"Yes it is."
Well that's that cleared up.
As always handled like a boss 💯👍🇬🇧
TLA would make a deadly barrister! I wouldn't want him 'cross examining' me in court 😧
10:58 This guy works at a museum 😳?!? I don’t think he’s wise enough to scrub the museum schitters adequately. I mean, he can’t even tell the difference between someone’s benign, lawful, human right and an act of terror 😬🫣. How absolutely daft.
This manager is out of his depth, he’s being quite threatening and can’t back up his claim of illegality
This is the logic being applied here, this man thinks _"you could be planning a terrorist attack"_ . . . yet in the options he gives you, one is to simply "stop filming here" (otherwise he'll call the police), so this man suspects you could be a terrorist, yet is happy for you to simply stop filming and walk off - and in exchange he won't report you ? This just highlights the abuse of terrorism legislation that is rife amongst security people, it's used as a catch-all threat to move people on, stop photographers, and generally intimidate people.
A great point, and very well made! Auditors should use this as a comeback, although probably only when they’re talking to someone able to construct a sentence and articulate themselves.... skills sadly lacking in the security industry!
I may be mistaken but that manager seemed to be, I’m right and no mater what you say as a reasoned argument I’m not interested as I’m right.
The security guy is a bit "special"
We have idiots working in the V&A
Not allowed to film the gate? I'm sure this will open the 'floodgates' wide in terms of people who would disagree with his assertion!
I have heard of Watergate and the subsequent enquiry. This is V&AGate.😊.
The manager has the Boris Johnson look about him...!!? 😮
I love how the 'play' button is directly over the manager's mouth.
they are all clueless
The bloke with the beard came across as a right sausage!!!
See the calibre of person ya get when Daddy gets them the job!
May be in America, but not here
Don't go breaking the lauw did you not know the parliament passed a don't film this gate law. Your pure class.
Ignorance of the law is no defense.
Not knowing that it's perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anything including security gates is beyond belief.
There is no expectation of privacy in a public place.
Overt recording cannot be used as a suspicion of terrorism or hostile reconnaissance or anything nefarious.
Being suspicious is not a crime.
Wasting police time is a crime.
Wow - smoothbrains are real!
BTW - if a nobody like him approaches you in public and thinks they have the right to question you for carrying out a legal activity in public either totally ignore them or tell them to do one in any way you see fit... Don't answer their questions (unless you're making an auditing vid of course and their stupidity is the subject matter).
What law? Yeah!, what law? yea, what law? yea its a law. Its dude like him who shady as\f
A closed mind learns nothing. He was not able to comprehend that there was a valid view different to his.
For such a bright looking man, he sure is DIM
London can’t be saved
By shutting his eyes when talking to you shows he thinks he is superior
The V&A has one of the most important and extensive collections of photographs anywhere in the world. Funny how they react to a man with a camera 🤪
"I didn't come here to discuss your life story"
That manager bloke was a very nice guy. You can tell by the warmth of his countenance. I really liked him! 🤗
Do they get public money for being so ignorant ?
TLA ‘What law?’
Man ‘Yea’
His sarcastic laugh and smile is really grating on me
Against the law 😂he knows he just lied
You put little Mr Clevercloggs in his place so easily . You beat him on everything he said .
Wilson James seriously need to teach their Guards the Basic rights people have on public land
What a stupid guard.
You would have thought people who were managers there would be required to have a certain level of intelligence, clearly not the case
14:47 😢😂😅 he just came to tell a grown man he cant do a LEGAL activity
Lta - You are in the UK. When you are standing near the V+A gate, you are NOT standing on the SIDEWALK - You are standing on the PAVEMENT!
Good morning for audits this one by LA and Yardley ski latest 😂
🦊 Wildlife does not consent to being photographed 🐻
It seems most people have a terrorist on their shoulder, whispering sweet fear in their ear. What a sad way to live.
It’s against the “yes law” haha
"Wildlife Photographer of the Year" the first thing i thought of was Charles Veitch XD
He does capture the wild life.
The security guard is clueless.
Backward for sure bless him
All those holes you mention. My nan told me that they are all from shrapnel from the blitz. She would have known, as she was on Fire Watch.
The V&A 'Manager' has been promoted well beyond his age and experience, because he basically doesn't know what he's talking about . . . not a good look for the museum.
16:20 AHHHH He's a victim of photography! 😅
They have moved the green hut, the Taxi hut from the middle of the road to the pavement ,they do a lovely egg and bacon roll in there 😋😋
Sidewalk? ... its a pavement or often said in scotland a path. When did we start saying sidewalk?. Good vid
"What law is that?" "Yeah" ,rinse&repeat 😂😂😂
It always and still does amaze me how people just don’t get it .
The word " Relic" comes to mind, watching that "manager ?"
A middle class V & A snob who doesn't know the law
Another good audit TLA 👍🏻
Impressive building. I wonder how many illicit photographs the V&A has acquired and are in its collections. That manager appears to not appreciate that all footage has value to research into history. If that guy is from Canada or USA he must not appreciate those rights from the Canadian Charter or the USA Constitution but he should know the rights here in the UK. At least I think so.
The manager has a loaf of bread between his ears.
Knickers and twist springs to mind 😅
