    This can benefit those of us who have (had in my case) a low volume due to maintaining a full time job. I'd shoot a wedding on Saturday, cull and retouch hundreds of images at night after work. I stopped wedding and portrait photography after getting burned out. High or low volume, or simply starting out, this is a great help for anyone. It may have kept me shooting gigs. Thanks for all that you do and share, Taylor.

    I watched one of your videos last night from like 2 years ago where you recommend this company, glad to know you're still using them. I shoot my first wedding in September, I will give them a try based on your recommendation. Thanks!

    I haven’t used any of the sharing/collaboration features in Lightroom CC, but it seems like that could make this process even smoother in the future!

      Lightroom catalogs and smart previews from Lightroom Classic is the name of the game! Lightroom CC does have some cool sharing features, but unfortunately it’s not quite ready for a complete remote workflow yet!

    Unfortunately the conversion to AUD means it's not really to practical to use Photographers Edit in Australia. Their pricing is very expensive sadly. I have used them though, they do a great job but the price is way to high sadly.

    • @NathanHolritz
      @NathanHolritz 3 года назад +1

      Hey Scott, I’ve had the chance to visit Australia to connect with photographers a couple of times - Sunshine Coast specifically. Beautiful!! We’d love to bring the price point down at PE for our Australian friends, but margins are pretty tight! Hopefully the conversion rate improves in the near future! 😊🤞

    • @Cary_mac
      @Cary_mac 3 года назад

      $0.24 is expensive? There are some places doing close to $0.50 for color correction. Most places hover around like $0.34 - $0.38 per image

      @@Cary_mac that in AUD is 32c, however I am also referring to culling and colour correction. Which with conversion can add up to around 1/4 to 1/3rd the cost of the wedding.

    I’m a family photographer mostly, but someone reached out to me wanting wedding photos. I said $350 and they instantly made a Facebook post looking for a wedding photographer 😂
    Like okay. Either one, they weren’t expecting it to be that cheap and they’re want to spend way more on an actual experienced wedding photographer (which .. is TOTALLY okay lol)
    Or 2. They thought it was expensive and think they will find cheaper
    I absolutely will not do it any cheaper, it will consume my day and be exhausting and require extra gear, etc. People be crazyyyy!!

    • @MichaelAres
      @MichaelAres 3 года назад +2

      …..what is your normal pricing for weddings? Cuz $350 is insanely low for a wedding unless it’s like for one of those quick court weddings at city hall which last like 5-min.

    • @alexisrose4221
      @alexisrose4221 3 года назад

      @@MichaelAres like I said, I normally don’t shoot weddings! I do newborn and my most expensive package is $275.
      I do birthday parties, and smaller gatherings. 4 hours for $350.
      People are cheap where I live hahaha! Someone messaged me today about photographing their family bbq and I again told them my rates.

    • @alexisrose4221
      @alexisrose4221 3 года назад

      @@MichaelAres personally I think it’s rude to charge extra JUST because it’s a wedding. Any party or gathering I charge the same. I can’t charge $275 for a package for newborn and then $1000 for weddings lol.
      I’m also not a wedding photographer. But yeah, that was basically my point, if they think they will get it any cheaper they are insane.. basic wedding rates around here are $1000 or more. So yeah

      @@alexisrose4221 makes total sense. On the other hand depending on the event. The risk is sometimes much higher, the stress and important things that happen in specific seconds etc.
      Regular events have usually much less stress. And don’t forget that a wedding usually also includes group shots, and portraits etc so all in all there is usually much more going on.
