Inspiring rendition. People don't realize how hard it is to play, and transcribe music. I wouldn't know where to start! This video needs more views, but no one cares to listen to django anymore, nor play an instrument, nor take the time to appreciate pure talent and hard work. great video! make more!
You are one hell of an amazing pianist my friend. You've just inspired me to try out some new material that seems very advanced. Well now there's something to practice towards. Thank you!
+AuCafeDeLaMarmotte you are a genious. This video was a while ago. I guess you must have become a star by nowadays ... it puts many lisitsa, lang lang videos aside :) ... I cannot stop listening to this (I play piano myself)
wow, that was BRILLIANT!! you made a classical piece out of jazz and I LOVE it! to hell with all those who make jazz out of classical, why hasn´t anybody made a classical out of jazz like you! keep up the great work, you are unique, one of a kind, technically are excellent and the sound you put to it just made me... whoah! once again a thought crossed my mind "if only I knew to play like this" ... well done & cheers! (:
Great! I've been fascinated by trying to play this stuff on piano too recently, your work is very inspiring. I will start with your sheet music today :) Big question: did you improvise, and turn this in sheet music, or composed the sheet music and then learned it by heart?
Bonjour. Félicitations pour cet arrangement et votre interprétation! J'habite Grenoble et recherche un professeur de piano. Comment puis-je vous contacter pour en discuter? A très bientôt.
MirFälltKeinNameEin just keeping practicing and slowly going faster and your hands will have muscle memory and it'll come easy. The more you memorize the right hand too you can look at your left hand to jump, but your hand will memorize where it's supposed to be
Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have put so much reverb. It is actually a trick I use so that I don't need to use the pedal in most parts, but it surely messes up the parts where there are too much notes... Anyways, thank you for the nice comment. In case you are interested, I will post a link when I have written it down (certainly in a few weeks).
cheezy cheezo 2 years of hard dedication wil give you the basics of jazz ;) another year or two on top of that and youll be a good player, but were talking atleast 1-2 hours of hard focused practice a day....trying to do it myself and its tough haha
Wait... wha... how... huh.... ahmm.... eeh... haa? D: What was this? Your own? If so, that's more than impressive. Also, awesome skill, you look definitely classically trained. One thing that seems weird to me: the reverb. Why? Is it really necessary? I feel it would sound way better with a sharp and crisp sound. Anyway, good job. I'll need a few days to recover from that one. o_o
Terrific techniques, excellent performance!! I listened to it three times in a row!

I like that it started out Swingin' and ended Chopin. Great job!
Oh, this is good! I did not realize this tune plays so well on a solo piano!
Had a fit of laughter somewhere in the middle out of amazement. What a style.

How can this NOT have more views?
I think I will be able to play this if I practice one bar each day. You are really talented!

Do you have any tips for the big jumps in the left hand?

Maky Tondr Mafia 1 in countryside
Try singing jingle bells over this, but in minor. Its almost identical
Tnx man!
Ce gars joue trop bien et je m y connais je suis pianiste
Fucking awesome look forward to learning it
fantastic like Doctor who would say
Ps : you look a little edgy when you play the speed parts... Have you problems with that ?
Maybe it's the stress of recording. I don't want to make mistakes, especially towards the end of the video, or I will have to make another take.
C'est beau merci ! Dommage que l'interprète se soit autant éloigné du thème principal..
omggggg
J'ai un piano russe...je ne connais pas sa valeur..pourriez vous m'eclairer..merci
