I think the video and lyrics fit perfectly on this grand-sounding production. The horns gave it this vibe of importance, like when a horn is used to announce the royal or call to get attention.

@@kojikali3381 Yes because Morehouse is a HBCU(s), Historically Black Colleges and Universities. I've never heard Morehouse's band. But I was thinking about NC A&T, FAMU, Jackson State to name a few. Some of them have videos on here, if you've never seen them you should check them out. But if you watched Homecoming you got a good feel for what halftime or battle of the bands is like.
His rap bona fides are getting stronger but what I like best are when he experiments with style and influence. Pop needs him!

This is by far the best track to drop in 2021. The funny part is, in the lyrics he really only mentions being queer in a single bar. Yet somehow that dominated the kind of social sphere, i'll guarantee that's why the video and the song have such a disconnect in meaning. Because this is all about people saying he was a one hit wonder, and that he had peaked and it would all be down hill after Old Town Road, so when he's talking about "Funny you said it was the end, yeah. Then I went and did it again, yeah."
Referencing Montero (Call me by your name) and also saying he was going to do it again with Industry Baby....which of course he did. Then his chorus he's basically saying he doesn't really give a shit what anyone says, he isn't scared.
This is an anthem for sure.
