Hi Mr Peter! Under Ingredient A can replace plain flour with Low Protein flour? What about the self rising flour under Ingredient B...if substitute SR flour with Low Protein flour must add additional baking powder or can just use 10gm baking powder as stated in the recipe?

I make huat kueh for than 30 years and l make during festival and people order from me. And l use plain flour and instant yeast without baking powder.

Maybe
1. Not enough water
2.The water didn't boil when steaming.
3. The yeast is refrigerated.
4. Fermentation is not long enough.

Hi tried this recipe but mine doesn't rise that much and it is also very hard not soft like what is shown in the video.
Maybe there is something wrong with the yeast? Did you add water? Fermented for 1 hour?
