If you think your horse or pony is having a hard time with the arch mouth bit you are using and it has a baucher cheek then consider switching to the arch mouth with a half cheek. The half cheek allows the horse or pony to hold the mouthpiece in just they way they want to. The baucher cheek offers more stability in the mouth piece and will not allow them to move it around. For some horses and ponies this is a good thing and for others it's not. They are all individuals for sure!
