Hi, it's so refreshing to see a young man like you. Enjoying simple innocent comedy of old. I'm 73 years old and was brought up on this comedy. It doesn't harm anyone, and I can't understand why people are so bloody sensitive nowadays. I believe in freedom of expression in any form. If people are offended, so what, it's not fatal. You can choose to watch what you want. Offence is just off switch away. !! Keep up the good work son. 😂
I grew up watching programs like these. The good old days when everyone thought comedy was funny and you could have a real belly laugh. It wasn’t meant to be hurtful. 😁👍🏾
Eddie you're brilliant....can i ask what age you are ??? Because in some of your clips you don't know what certain things are like Page 3 and Richard and Judy ..,.but it makes it even funnier ❤❤❤
Eddie, benny hill show ran for about 25 years 1964 till 1988 sketch shows, check out peter cook &dudley Moore tarzan sketch, the eating the sandwich sketch, they tried to make each other laugh known as corpsing they even adlibbed.
Mr Chow Mein and Fred Scuttle were the very best of Benny's characters. I admit I am of the older gen, but IMO this is in no way offensive. It is not making fun of the Chinese but of the cultural barriers and idiosyncracies. Just as, as a Yorkshireman, I am in no way offended by Monty Python's (and other's) Four Yorkshiremen, or as an Englishmen by French jokes about the English. It is hilarious to see ourselves through other's eyes. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a sirry irriot - a phrase I still use to this day.
Benny Hill was usually on ITV As you're of Nigerian descent, check out the late (God rest his soul 🙏) Felix Dexter. He did a character called Nathaniel (the studenr Accountant), he'd go from a Nigerian accent to a Jamaican (although he was actually born in St Kitts - another Caribbean Island) in a couple of Sentences. Dig out some of his clips. They're absolutely hilarious 👍👍😂😂 As you say, they wouldn't be able to make sketches containing racism today. More's the pity when you can't/won't laugh at certain sketches/program's
Are you watching 'The Best of Benny Hill' DVD? This scene is on there if anyone is interested. One of my absolute favourite Sketches. Here for the Still Game, staying for the Benny!
Yes back in the day when people didn't look to take offense at just about anything.to me their is gradually erosion of freedom of speech because of the woke brigade.
One of my favorite things about this character is that, when others don't understand what he's saying, he thinks it's because they're stupid. There are so many real-life people like this.
These great shows came out way before people felt they have the right to not be offended. The truth of the matter is, a lot of people from Asia really do have a problem with annunciation of the words correctly and mostly with the "R's."
Thank you. I cried laughing, and also for all that we have lost, or rather, has been taken from us, trampled underfoot and spat on, so that idiots can call themselves virtuous.
I'm an American and I love British Comedy. I just learned of a man called Bernard Manning. If you think Benny Hill is offensive you need to check out Bernard Manning.
Try Benny Hill, World of Sport. You have found the real comedy. This is before all this PC BS. I worked in China for over two years. Even Chinese laughed at this.
There were very few chinese and Asian actors so whites used to take place, nothing wrong with that, today you can get any actor you want from anywhere so no need to put an Asian or Chinese guy out of work
None of it's offensive ..just very funny ..just silly humour and nobody got offended. ..stop looking so worried. No different to somebody taking off a cockney accent ,why get offended I couldn't care less .
You ruined this. It doesn't need constant interruptions for you to apologise or explain it's comedy. If you're that afraid of the woke reaction don't play it .
You’re moving into a sad period. Please understand who is offended here. You might not be. Clearly your followers aren’t either. “Jokes” like this aren’t designed to offend us, but “them.” Just takes a bit of empathy. I’m out of this channel now - no place in my day for the Bernard Mannings and Benny Hills of this world. Take care !

me too, I'm now over 66 years old and there was nothing hateful about it, just good old British humour.
I can tell you are secretly enjoying this old comedy! 🤣 If gen Z see this they will get the flight of their lives! 🤣🤣
Ik I'm 17 and I love this type of comedy, gen zs are a bunch of morons
That makes me worry, I'm a very young Gen Y but who I fall for seem to be older Gen Z so guess if works out be awkward to watch these with him
I loved Benny Hill when I was a kid
We should have comedy like this now. Cheers everyone up👍
Sadly the wokies will not let it happen.
It's NOT 'offensive' at all. It's all made up by wannabe victims who have NO life!
Eddie you're brilliant....can i ask what age you are ??? Because in some of your clips you don't know what certain things are like Page 3 and Richard and Judy ..,.but it makes it even funnier ❤❤❤

No one has a sense of humour today, they are all woke, this wasn’t meant to hurt anyone, just funny 😅
I think I saw that when it was first broadcast. And yes, I cringed a little, but it was quite funny!
Gen x er here, grew up on comedy gold like this. We need it back. This is also why I had such a sarcastic sense of humour. Ahh good old days.
🤩🤩
Are you watching 'The Best of Benny Hill' DVD? This scene is on there if anyone is interested.
One of my absolute favourite Sketches. Here for the Still Game, staying for the Benny!
It's cut at the start though on my DVD...
Still Game is a classic
Love your reaction to our old comedy shows Benny Hill was so funny.
Laughter is the best medicine by far........it's the cure for depression. Cheers mate, from NZ 🇳🇿
we need this sort of comedy now
Can we just start laughing at us and with us together… again 😢
Yes back in the day when people didn't look to take offense at just about anything.to me their is gradually erosion of freedom of speech because of the woke brigade.
OMG you have to watch Felix Dexter doing Nathaniel the Nigerian accountant! He was on The Real McCoy. Pleeaaassee!
One of my favorite things about this character is that, when others don't understand what he's saying, he thinks it's because they're stupid. There are so many real-life people like this.
Very true
Do you have the sketch where Benny Hill hides a duck under his coat?
These great shows came out way before people felt they have the right to not be offended. The truth of the matter is, a lot of people from Asia really do have a problem with annunciation of the words correctly and mostly with the "R's."
Hilarious!!!! Seen worldwide. Still.😂😂😅😅🤣🤣
This about being silly, oh the good old days of being silly!!!!
Bob Todd; the guy playing Indian Immigration officer didn't start his comedy career until his mid forties, so theres hope for you yet Eddy :)
Thank you. I cried laughing, and also for all that we have lost, or rather, has been taken from us, trampled underfoot and spat on, so that idiots can call themselves virtuous.
We knew how to laugh at ourselves as well as each other
This would never fry today
Living in Ipswich I always find it funny when Ipswich is mentioned😂 anyway, uppa towen!! Top of the League
This was around 1970/71 I think
I'm British-- and I don't mind if people find humour out of us, as long as it is done gently, in good fun.
I'm an American and I love British Comedy. I just learned of a man called Bernard Manning. If you think Benny Hill is offensive you need to check out Bernard Manning.
Im old and find it so funny. Good reaction
Bring back the good old days.
Wednesday and City on the same points now Eddy.... Close at the bottom. Hope we both escape the drop.
They sound like my local takeaway 😵💫
Don't forget to check out 'Early Doors' Eddy.😂😂😂😂😂
there should be no restrictions for comedy, there is no good comedy shows these days
.."it" should still be allowed today !
Benny Hill was freaking funny. People today are too easily offended that is their problem.
Eddy, check out benny Hill wife swap 1986,check out bennyhill Halitosis, kid..
Thats the time era saturday night tv was work watching. Proper entertainment. Now its the same old boring repeats. I would rather watch RUclips.
Comedy doesn't exist anymore.
Eddy, this was nothing compared to The Black and White Minstrel Show.
Try Benny Hill, World of Sport. You have found the real comedy. This is before all this PC BS. I worked in China for over two years. Even Chinese laughed at this.
we dont care much about saying things its the recipeant who may think
its offensive
There were very few chinese and Asian actors so whites used to take place, nothing wrong with that, today you can get any actor you want from anywhere so no need to put an Asian or Chinese guy out of work
Wife swap skit is😂
It's not offensive if it's true. Benny was hilarious and nobody thought anything about it.
your a top guy. mate
It's not racist pretending to be an ethnic person try reacting to mind your language that was a popular show back in the day.😊
NOn of this was hateful . I'd bet those watching found this
Hilarious.
None of it's offensive ..just very funny ..just silly humour and nobody got offended. ..stop looking so worried.
No different to somebody taking off a cockney accent ,why get offended I couldn't care less .
😂😂😂😂
I subt, like beng
Political correctness has already killed all the humour. After being censored comedies today get primitive, boring and completely sterile 😐
React to MAD TV
