[for those who do not know of her, Gail was a hauntingly beautiful actress of the forties whose life ended tragically at 36 via alcoholic addiction. With the face of an Angel (personality to match) her eyes were limpid, ethereal and lumionous. She had a minor talent acting-wise, but once seen she is never forgotten: so gorgeous in like 1945: made the young Liz Taylor look *hard* by comparison.]
Gail Russell was an Angelic, luminously gorgeous actress of the 1945 era who was so ethereally lovely that even young Liz Taylor paled when compared with her!
@@scotnick59 I looked her up and she was a hot mess! she was a life long lush with bouts with the bottle and drunk driving who thankfully didn't take anyone else with her in the end.
I'm sure it was supposed to be. I mean, instead of her dropping her shoe, it's a bracelet. I chuckle at Prince Erik's -San Francisco as the City of Romance...especially as it is today.😅 At least this episode was romantic. I'd never heard of this show, it reminds me of the "Love Boat"!
I did watch hotel many times yesterday This is unfortunate princess dead long time but I didn't Know the story .May be he was martyred but In good hand in the kingdom of the Lord.He was a good one in life in Earth and his life has been gone for a good cause he will received his reward for eternal life.!
Great show
Classy production. Great clothes. And James Brolin plus John-Erik Hexum. Swoon. And it’s the old Cinderella story.
The voice of J-E H. I wish that I had his voice.
Oh, he's such a doll in that 'Prince' outifit. I adore it. :D
I remember this great show. The St. Regis Hotel I believe. Looks like an Aaron Spelling production
Has anyone noticed that George Lazenby is in this show?
Was he credited in this episode?
playing ALFRED to PRINCE ERIK
Jon-Erik: so that's what God looks like!:; If Gail Russell was too hauntingly beautiful, he was just too handsome for this world

Why to cut the thing in such little pieces?
Ratings, this way they could stretch it out over three weeks or longer and up their views.
