Ken, glad you enjoyed it, actually, you seemed to enjoy the Rickman, the KTM, and the Maicos. Maybe someday when I get back up North I will come by and visit the shop. The woman were patient, hopefully they enjoyed dinner and you folks had fun.
I raced a guy with Rickman frame Suzi water buffalo engine. He was way faster than my GS1000 and my buddy with a Ducati SS 900. I crashed chasing them that day 🤷♂️😏😎💪🤘🏻🔧
Thank for sharing that Tom, I have seen the Rickman Cafe frame host Honda's kawasaki Norton and even Ducati motors but never a water buffalo....incredible. I too owned a GS ES 1100 in the early 80's.🤝
It's a strong looking bike. Sweeeeet. Thanks ken 😀. Wow 39 made. Only few left on this planet earth 🌎. Beautiful brings tear of joy to me eyes. Your family and bikes are your passion and they support your need to look at as many bikes as you possibly can. What a great treat brother.
That blue and yellow is very familiar, I rode IT’s all the years they were built and would buy one today if they still built them, thanks for another great vid Ken ✌️🇺🇸
I had a Rickman 125 with the high pipe and a Rickman Hodaka! You can't beat a nice shiny Rickman frame for drawing attention to yourself....Great looking and not too bad to ride. Wish I'd kept that Hodaka Rickman...Sold by Steens of So-Cal back in the day.
I had a used Rickman/Zundapp 125 as a teenager, so much fun until something failed inside the engine on a bit of a hill climb. My friend split the cases and it was a mess, a gear or something had exploded, had to let it go. Still have the sads!
I had a Red Zundapp125 ball shift chrome cylinder bore powered that I built from basket cases in 1975. No one wanted them back when YZ and RM ,CR came out .I was 13 yo and built motors split cases sell taught growing up poor kid with no dad on long island new york. I owe everything to Dirt bikes and Outboard motor repair. Put me through University engineering degree. Never knew they put Yamaha motor in them Nice PS I had a Ossa MAR also wow!
If Paul reads this I'm in west palm near loxahatchee and would love to ride with him sometime he seems like the type of guy I could share a beer or two with!!!
Im taking screen shots kaplan . You just plain out did yourself finding this rickman. Ive been around bikes a long time and this is my first and its perfect in everyway . I'll bet Barber doesn't have one. If you could just get your hands on one of these. Be sure and take plenty of pictures for a life size blow up for your museum
I had one of those silencers on a 1972 yamaha MX250 that sounded just like this one in the video ..its cast aluminium and has a piece of screen wire inside for a spark arrester that makes it forest legal..i installed mine after i bought the bike and it made a little difference with more power. Cant remember who made them. But dont they sound great ?
@@redtobertshateshandles I hear you Red. Who need 12-inches suspension travel both ends on a trails bike? LOL We used to trail ride our 500cc BSA Goldstars with 3-inches of travel! hahahahaha
You looked a bit to big for that bike lol I was starting to wonder if you we going to come back a one stage. Showing some restraint these days not poppin the front wheel up I could see you wanted to.
Not ugly, just old skool. This is what we rode in the late 60s. This is a new rolling frame with a 650 Yamahammer stuck into it not a restoration. Google Rickman and look at the prices for a rolling frame.

Thanks Paul! Come visit us when you can

That is one gorgeous bike. I didn't know they existed either. I didn't even know Rickmans existed, until I started watching your channel.
That blue and yellow is very familiar, I rode IT’s all the years they were built and would buy one today if they still built them, thanks for another great vid Ken ✌️🇺🇸
We say RIDDEN NOT HIDDEN
I keep seeing that RD in your videos. 😍
Funny how that one jumps out.

Nice

Look's like the Daddy of the IT 400's. Beautiful bike.
I got my zundapp 125 6 day brand new in 74 at a BSA/Triumph dealership. Rickman are incredible🏆

Love the Rickman, but for riding purposes, dump those thermal flow shocks. Your body will thank you.
Beautiful looking bike
God bless America 🇺🇸
Got some wild stories involving a Yamaha rti360 loved that bike. 🐝✨🌞🌲👍
Simply Perfection 👍

This thing would sell like hot cakes today!
Modern trailbikes are too tall.

I forgot about Rickman Wow that is what happens when you are known very Rare guys just share there bikes 👍👍
I've never heard of one. Personally I love the IT250, but wonder if these prodded Yamaha. This looks so much like an IT it's not funny.
I agree I had the it 250 and loved it with the 6 speed wish Id never sold it and you're right they favor each other in the blue and yellow .😥
You looked a bit to big for that bike lol I was starting to wonder if you we going to come back a one stage. Showing some restraint these days not poppin the front wheel up I could see you wanted to.
Not mine
Nice!
👌
I'll be honest, nicely restored but kind of an ugly looking bike.
