You tell about very small aquariums which are not stable and about your big aquarium which is very stable. So the best and simplest idea will be to connect the small aquariums to the big to be stable too.
I'm having the same problem with tap water. I have since gone back to rainwater with buffers which I never have problems with. Not enough Kh in most Australian tap waters.
I started loosing some of my guppies before realising that my PH had dropped really low. Now I put coral in all my tanks. My KH is really low out of the tap. With the coral in the tanks helps keep my PH stable and stays at 7. Which is what it comes out of the tap at.
another great one
Thanks mate
Thanks for the heads up, I don't normally check pH but I will to see the levels now 👍🏻
No problem 👍

Stability is key very hard to maintain on small tanks for me . I never check ph but my smallest tank is 600 l . I change reg to water my lawn
I’d also do much bigger water changes in angel tank 50 plus percent weekly I’d do it twice a week in tank that size with 6 angels
Hi Cheve, yip smaller are more difficult, but I have a 4.5l tank that is stable. I have added some coral to buffer, so lets see how it goes.

Agree, I always worry about rainwater if it collects off my roof.
@@TheUrbanFishkeeper I'm lucky I'm on a farm no trees above the sheds. Any ammonia from bird waste should get consumed by nitrobactor in the rain tank

Hi Simon, yip, putting in some coral pieces tonight.
Oh wow. With 11KH and GH17 I don't really have this problem. 😂 Kinda limited at what I can keep in that water, though.
Hahahaha true
Live-bearers, rainbow fish, and snails😂
