I guess, I am confused about the use, I thought this was used when you didn't have an ethernet cable going to where it is to be installed. Couldn't you have gotten the antenna and it would receive the signal from the house? then sent to the AP?
This device has multiple modes and I think that would be possible. A hardwired connection is definitely stronger and more reliable. It's also more convenient because I can power the AC over the same ethernet cable.
Just so I am clear, you hard wired this device at your shed? You had an underground cable that ran to your shed, which you hooked this device. It then extends the Wi-Fi signal throughout your yard. I need to get Wi-Fi down to our dock from our house. The dock is about 170’ line of site from the house so this should work right?
Good video, I'm looking for share my starlink to my neighbors they're about to 200 meters I think it will be no problem, but there's one like on 500 meters, what do you think about what to buy to carry the wifi there? But I will like to be just one thing, omnidirectional.

Great questions! I believe it would work with the standard access points. The only change I would consider in Ubiquiti's new outdoor access point that supports WiFi 6. I bought one for a security camera that supports WiFi 6. My only concern with that access point is that it doesn't seem water tight. I still need to figure out how to install it and seal it outside. Hi, I watched your video because I had the same issues as you, except I'm not tech-savvy. I have Starlink and need connection outside my property about 300ft from the router. I purchased the UAP-AC-M and an ethernet adaptor (I didn't purchase the uap-ac-pro-e ap). I got it hooked up to my Starlink router. Now I'm having issues, the mesh itself won't shoot out Starlink network. On the mobile app, it says "No wireless clients found", "no clients" and "self-hosted network server" I'm at a total loss. Not sure what I need to do. Any pointers?
Is the starlink app giving these errors or the Ubiquiti app? Are you able to log into the access point using the UniFi app? Did you check out my old video on setting up access points? ruclips.net/video/867qcqxndPs/видео.html

I only have the UAP-AC-M connected to my Starlink router via ethernet cable. The mesh is online but It is not shooting out the Starlink wifi. I don't know what to do. I'm really lost when I go into the unifi network dashboard.
The products I show in the older video use the same Unifi software and configuration as in this video. The software has changed a little but should still be relevant. When you log into the Unifi dashboard were you able to configure the access point to add to a new Wifi network? The next step would ask you to upgrade the firmware. It's around the 5:15 mark on the other video.

My problem is that the mesh isn't meshing [if that makes sense] In my home office I'm getting 200Mbps but outside where I need wifi it's about 12Mbps and with the mesh, I'm receiving 10Mbps. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Btw I really appreciate you replying!
Thank you! Quick question, I am trying to figure out if the following setup will work. We support an Orphanage in South Africa. Recently they have had a rash of break-ins and were asking about setting up security cameras. It is a large area and hard-wiring them would be almost impossible. They currently get their WiFi from a Rain , "The 101" 5G router . I was going to buy a couple of these AC mesh . One of them I would connect to the Network port of the 101, mount it on a pole and point it toward the main buildings. Then I would mount several Eufy WiFi S340 cameras (2.4 GHz0 in strategic locations. I would install the other Unifi AC mesh at the main building, run a cable down into a router for them to get WiFi. Question: Would the S340's (2.4 GHz) be able to use the signal being pumped out by the AP or does it have to go through the receiving AP?
Yes, as far as I know. Make sure to set the AP up with dual band to ensure the 2.4GHz is active. I usually start small and then scale up, so maybe purchase just one S340 first to ensure it works as expected (range, lag, remove access, etc) before purchasing several.

Yes, these work as a mesh network. You would need the Unifi Network Server software for PC to configure the devices: ui.com/download/releases/network-server Make sure to also check out my video on creating a mesh network: ruclips.net/video/867qcqxndPs/видео.html These devices are pretty complex with lots of configurations. Luckily there is a lot of help available online.
Can this be used without having the Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Lite Access Points ? Is it compatible with fiber internet and cable internet?
Yes, it can be used as a stand alone device. Yes, the type of Internet service provider is irrelevant.
Can I use this Ubiquiti Access Point with a non Ubiquiti router?
Yes. I am not using a Ubiquiti router for my 3 APs.
