i like this guy's facial expressions !
He's a fun guy to be around ;)
I think I saw these at MACNA or RAP this year! I’m excited to test it out especially given all the new features. The extra long drain hose is probably my favorite. Although I am impressed with the rubber cleaner to make daily skimmer maintenance a breeze. My new set up is a 120 gallon tank and I can’t wait to try out these new skimmers and share them with my subscribers and followers! Cheers to Red Sea for this new product. I’m confident it will live up to the high standards of Red Sea!
Thank you
why the people give it unlike. ..i don't know why?..it's perfect this skimmer
Thank you. We're not judging :)
Probably the "Quiet" part lmao
New to this will check it out
Cheers
Love the neck cleaner
It's one of the greatest features we got feedback for.
Just turned mine on for the first time its extremely loud i can hear it outside the room or above my tv running red sea is denying that there is anything wrong with it. Extremely disappointed i don't think i will purchase anything from them again. Even though i love their tanks and cabinets.
Strange, they usually run quietly. You should take it apart and make sure the bubble plate is secured all the way and not touching the body of the skimmer.
If that doesn't help we're SURE tech support can get you sorted out.

@@RedseafishHello, i appreciate the reply, i talked to support and so far they have been no help, they even said the sound coming from my skimmer is normal which is very disappointing to me as I've spent a lot of money on it
Is this noise normal? I even changed my return pump to something that you can barely hear even bought new powerheads thats almost silent its in my living room and i really wanted a skimmer that is quiet and advertised as "quiet" i even sent a screenshot of the decibels which was saying that it sounded like "busy traffic" from about a meter away. The app has 4.9/5 so it seems reliable and accurate.
Thank you i hope you can help me out i really like red sea products for the most part its just customer service from my point of view needs alot of work.

Our skimmers are very quiet compared to other skimmers with similar actual air intake (not theoretical). Any skimmer and the mix of air and water together will generate some noise and with the high capacity of our skimmer you will hear them if you place your head in the sump. From watching your video we can clearly hear that the water trickle is far louder than the working skimmer in the background. We recommend you measure our skimmer's noise levels with the cabinet doors closed and the entire system running.
@@Redseafish the water trickling is loud because i can't get the valve dialed in because its really hard to move it wasn't making any noise for about 15 minutes and it was 68 decibels
@@OA1998. The best suggesting if you have an issue that's hard to solve via text, is to take it to your local RS dealer, have them take it apart and reassemble it with you, test it and see if there's any issue.
What about international shipping? Can we order from anywhere?
Would love to try these... Feel free to send me one ;)
Is this included with your max or reefer series?
S-Series will arrive with it. REEFER - Simply ask the dealer to throw it in...
How about just making a quick easy removable cup with a handle, I get it that some hobbyist get busy at times but we're just making more and more options for the lazy reefers or to make some them lazy, it would be much quicker and cleaner to remove the cup and dump it as opposed to sitting there, draining it (while leaving any thick smelly sludge behind) with that hose into a pitcher that you have to dump anyway. I still don't get neck cleaners, why people think scraping thick sludge back into the skimmer which will dissolve right back into the tank is a good idea is beyond me, again just make a quick detachable neck as well, I understand skimmers function better with a clean neck but all I ever see is a thick sludge being dumped back into the skimmer, auto cleaners are a different story if you program them to clean before anything significant forms in the neck but with manual ones, you'd have to sit there all day and constantly scrape the neck to get the light stuff that forms. All that being said, I like this skimmer and it's competitive pricing, I just doubt I'll be using the neck cleaner or the drain hose, I'd just rather just rather remove any sludge or build up that it produces up and out of the system manually.
When you clean the neck the high air pressure would carry the sludge back up. If you neglect it for days and have massive buildup there's not escape from taking it out to the sink. In any case better with the neck cleaner than without performance-wise. You need to clean the whole cup regularly every couple of weeks regardless.
what is the optimal water depth for this beast ?
We have 3 models, each has a slightly different depth. Find out the specs per model here:

Side note: I love the Sales Director's facial expression when talking about this product, his eyes is popping with excitement!
Doing it with one hand.... Pretty cool.
Cool review.
@@Redseafish , haha...would had been easier if I mount the camera, huh? I just wanted to give the viewer an up close and personal on the beauty of this skimmer!
Good morning,
I bought a REEFER 170, now I would like to buy your RSK 300 skimmer, with which lift pump do they match it? sicce silent 2.0? 2.5? 3.0?
I await your opinion
Hi, There're different options as you know. We suggest you consult a Red Sea Dealer. As a rule of thumb we recommend 10 times turnover rate.
Hi. Mixed reef 1500 liters (30/100 sump): RSK-600 or RSK-900?
Hi, all the specific measurements and recommendations are here:

Can freshwater fish be used?
No. That's for saltwater only.
Cheaper prices would be a feature, not a next copy from the similar skimmer of others.
Other than the nice price tag, it does have some cool useful and unique features. :)
A very nice copy of the neck cleaner made by me in 2012
We just bought a red sea 200G2 and got the RSK300 skimmer, reefmat and reefwave. The reefmat and reefwave are excellent. The skimmer is garbage! It shakes my entire kitchen, where the tank is. It is also extremely loud. I was very disappointed with this. I have tried taking it apart a few times to makes sure everything is where it should be, and I see no issues. Redseas customer service is non existent. I hope im not stuck with this piece of junk. Im not one to give bad reviews either. Im very annoyed with how low quality this is. Save your money on this and look elsewhere.
