      I’m planning on getting me some silicone free priming moisturizer for applying prior to my makeup when it comes in. Question: does my nighttime skincare need to also be silicone free to work well with this makeup?

      @@caitlyneubanks9714 Nope don't worry about night time since you wash that off the next morning before makeup anyways!

    After your part 1, I couldn't wait for part 2! You are a wealth of skincare knowledge, and I learn so much from you! Truly my skincare goddess! One question - you have the Thayer toner listed in your products, but didn't touch on that. What type of skin is that one good for, and what is the type of toner it is? Glow, or refresh? I have seen it listed as good for sensitive skin, but wasn't sure how to use it. :)

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 года назад +1

      So it was the one I couldn't remember the name in the video! Its a witch hazel base, so its not exfoliating, more for removing last traces of makeup and evening skin tone. There are different versions of Thayer's for different skin types, I think I linked the Aloe Vera version, so its similar to our Seint Toner as far as ingredients and is more soothing.

      Yeah , I bought mine directly from the site and I’ve never had a problem it’s always been clear for me . Target is carrying Timeless now too.
      I stopped buying the Maelove one cause it turns yellow too fast.

    Thank u Sarah again for an amazing presentation! Your explanation of eye cream is just what I needed as I have the same trouble. I have found my when I get up in the morning, underneath my eyes are red and never had that problem before. Gave me good advice on what to look for. Also, might add, your skin looks amazing so keep on doing what u are doing! ❤️

    I LOVE your skincare videos! Always learn something new!
    You got me hooked on the CURE exfoliator. Amazing.
    Seint’s skin care line changed my skin. I don’t have to wash my face in the morning anymore. Just use some Garnier miceller water on a makeup pad and wipe my face. Also this is my first winter where my face has not been so dry that I had red patches and the corners of my nose peeling. Use the milk cream at night and I’m good to go in the morning. Amazing!! Started using some serums. Loving my skin. You’re the best!

    The vitamin C serum from Honest Beauty is great. It makes me glow and has great packaging. I tried Mae Love because I couldn’t resist, and can’t wait to use it up so I can repurchase the Honest one ( Jessica Alba’s line).

    OMG so so good! Thanks for doing all the leg work (maybe I should say face work) for us so we can begin to put a smart routine together. It is so confusing out there and easy to waste money or harm skin if you don’t have some guidelines. I agree that Eye cremes are the hardest and I had some kind of eye lid issue (became red and flakey but not ichy) and thought I was allergic to Seint eyeshadows. But I also had recently changed hormone levels (stopped the pill) and I was literally drying up. So, I started using moisture (the Cetaphil you showed and jojoba oil) on eyelids with no oil during day under eyeshadow and under eyes and the problem has resolved so hopefully that was it. I have used an eye balm some too overnight and sometimes switch jojoba for coconut oil but otherwise that is all. Good luck on yours!!

      Thanks for sharing! I definitely feel like the older I get the more sensitive and more allergies I have...go figure! I'm giving my poor eyes a break this week and using nothing near them...hopefully it helps!

    Makeup wipes are sooo fricking wasteful 😩 I was going through tons of those a few years ago and collected them in a grocery Bag on the back of my closet door just as trash. About 3 months later I went to take that trash out and about died how much paper I was wasting 😬

    So amazing! I’ve learned soo much watching this! When in your regimen would you incorporate the argirilene serum and copper peptides? What about an vs pm? And would you want to avoid using them in combination with any other products?

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 года назад

      Anytime day or night with anything else- you don't have to worry about them reacting. Just follow the thinnest to thickest consistency rule and apply them where you would a serum!

  • @Cgirlonmoon1

    Hi Sarah! Just a quick question. I am going to buy one of the sunscreens you recommend. I use Seint products but saw (thanks to learning from you) that both have some silicone. I know that can be a problem with the cremes. Have you found they work because the silicones are low in the list? Just check my understanding. Thank you!

    Hi! I got several of the products to try and really like them. I have a question about the glycolic acid toner. I just used it for the first time and it did have a burning feeling. It went away after a few minutes and didn’t appear to leave any additional redness on my face. Do you think I should not use it? I got cure and love that one. Maybe I should try a different toner?

    Question! If/when is start using the tanning recommendations you have for the face, will that change my highlight colors you have recommended?

    • @TheContouredChemist
      @TheContouredChemist  3 года назад +1

      It can, just depends on what colors your currently have and how dark of a tanner you choose. You can always use it and shoot me a new pic, let me know your currents shades and I'll let you know what I'd suggest!
