Also worth noting that Iran will if attacked be entitled to call upon collective self defence in line with UN rules. They could therefore call upon Russia and China to assist. Just like Kuwait did against Iraq in 1990 when the west stepped in along with a coalition of Arab states. I wonder if the USA and UK would step up to defend Israel against a coalition including Russia and China?
