Hi mate, you’re supposed to put small blocks of brick under the mesh to hold it off the ground, you can use wire to secure the blocks. This also allows you to walk on it without sinking the mesh. 👍🏼
We use "concrete tofu" under wire mesh to keep the mesh levitate above the ground so there will be enough concrete 'blanket' in between the mesh and the ground, so it will prevent cracks and keep the mesh from rustic away throughout times in the future. But nevermind, some of us don't even used the mesh on ground floor, and still doing just fine. It's a garage anyway, for family car not for heavy duty vehicle, I think you'll do just fine. And it's one thick good slab though.
Concrete slab looks great.. Informative video if anyone wants to do the same process for construction 👍👍👍 I know your house gonna look awesome🏡🙂 God bless you niko have a great day 🌼 ✌
Why they didn't lift the steel in the concrete, I don't understand why the left it on the ground. That can cause the concrete to crack up badly due to any any support in it, I'll leave better if they had fiber mesh in it
@@NikosPropertyShow You said they lift the mesh while they poor but that is pointless as they stomp all over it as they poor, pushing it back down. Other channels I've seen they use these plastic stands to actually keep the mesh raised.
@@NikosPropertyShow Nice of you to take the blame for not lifting the mesh but your not the concrete contractor it's his responsibility those slabs are gonna crack!. Lazy and cutting corner's, you should find a new contractor.
@@joshuaweiler4566 I like that video. it was 🔥. niko is a cool dude. and I like how he addressed that wire in the video and didn't try to hide it. he also made it clear to everyone that they should pull it up on their jobs too. *Good job niko*
@@joshuaweiler4566 hey I just cut that slab today if u still wana help, I am going to get cc&t to help again. im not going to ask Ryan, I do wana pour w him, but I wana be a lil bigger 1st before I ask him. maybe. I really wana slide up to Wisconsin and surprise him on a big job this summer!!! because at this point I don't really bring him much value other than the concrete guys would get a kick out of a colab w him. maybe 1 day I can do a surprise video w him posing up in it w nothing about it in the title. I would like to do that 4 u guys.

It's non chloride lol not calcium, we call it high early, some guys call it polar set
Look into “metallic epoxy” for your garage floor. That would look absolutely sick !

i do see a slight possibly future problem. it kinda looks like theyre pouring the concret on the mesh
could probably have surface cracks
I hope there's no issues!!

Why don’t you lift the mesh? Pointless sitting on the ground
Rookie move on my part not paying attention to the guys doing the job
