    .
It is a very promising electric grinder with 68mm conical burrs.
    .
    .
The burrs have a geometry that is optimised for better consistency for filter coffee. However, due to the bigger size of the burrs, they will perform great in espresso too 💯
    .
    .
    🔹️Minimalistic design.
🔹️Full access to the burrs without the need for any tools.
    🔹️Low RPM.
🔹️It has a strong motor that is easily able to grind for the lightest roasts.
    .
    .
First impression is mostly positive 👌
    .
That being said, the only disadvantage for now is the loud motor. It has a very loud and noisy motor. However, considering its budget friendly price tag, it is understandable.
    .
    .
Espresso and filter reviews are coming soon!

I love the compact size of this. Not only that, but the assembly is simplistic as well. If it's good, this will be probably be my upgrade from my handgrinder.

It could be a wonderful option, if you don't mind the loud motor sound. We will speak about it in details soon ☕️🤍

I've seen the review on Coffee Chronicler, seems a bit loud and the big power brick is a turn off (if they could integrate it with body would be cool). Price wise for USD 550 is kinda steep, but for the simplicity of using magnets to disassemble is quite worth it I guess.

it would make it more expensive, powerbricks are cheap and easy to swap depending on countries, and causes more safety certifications to be issued on the product

Meh, 500 is still a steep price for a grinder. I doubt that is twice as good as a $250 grinder or five times as good as a $100 grinder.

    • @JimmyNewCakes
      @JimmyNewCakes Год назад

@@tj_trout9855 You'd be surprised by what kind of improvement you get in grinders through each of those price steps-especially powered grinders (hand grinders are much cheaper for similar grind quality). At $100, you're pretty much at the entry point for a grinder that can produce some reasonable consistency of grind, but you're likely to have a lot of fines and a lot of coffee retention-both issues when you're looking to do precise and repeatable pour over. At $250, you have a few options where you have solved most of these issues and can utilize low-cost modifications to solve any special quirk to your brewing workflow. At $500, you start to get grinders that have enough power and have a suitable burr design to be able to do the extra fine grinding needed for espresso or Turkish coffee. Prices naturally go up from there, but you start to get into the territory of paying for the visual design, a special feature (like automatic grind-by-weight), or just general upscaling needed for commercial use.

@@tj_trout9855 there are no good 100 dollar electric grinders so yes it will be more than 5 times as good.
